Six-String Soldiers’ Fantastic ‘Check Yes or No’ Rendition

Who can resist singing along, clapping, and tapping to this fantastic rendition of ‘Check Yes or No’ by Six-String Soldiers, a component of the United States Army Field Band? And the introduction by Sergeant First Class Joseph Bennett, complete with a flirt and a tease for his band member wife and fiddler, Sergeant First Class Renée Bennett—well, it’s adorable!

Three guys on guitars (or variations of them) and a girl on the violin make up the group. They are joined here by a drummer and a pianist, and while George Strait always wears a cowboy hat, these musicians wear combat clothes. They are among our country’s military servicemen and servicewomen.

“King George” made this sweet story-in-song a hit back in 1995 when ‘Check Yes or No’ was released. The song, written by Danny Wells and Dana Hunt, was included on Mr. Strait’s album Strait Out of the Box. ‘Check Yes or No’ became George Strait’s 28th #1 hit on the Billboard Country chart. And honestly, no one will ever do the song like George does, but this version is lovely!

Check out the pretty violin lick at 1:20; it’s the first of several during the performance. While the pretty fiddler’s hubby shared that they met in college instead of third grade, the personal story of the two featured artists adds to the enjoyment. The irony of soldiers in fatigues and boots singing a romantic tune is captivating as well.

It’s a delight to hear such a beloved song done so well and delivered by these talented freedom fighters. Freedom to worship as we wish, freedom to communicate our thoughts, freedom to work and live as our conscience leads, and freedom to love. Thankfully, folks like the Six-String Soldiers’ members performing here, Joseph and Renée Bennett, Glenn Robertson, and Brandon Boron, have taken the oath to protect our county and its citizens. The added bonus is that they share their artistic gifts, too!

“All these were descendants of Asher—heads of families, choice men, brave warriors and outstanding leaders. The number of men ready for battle, as listed in their genealogy, was 26,000.” 1 Chronicles 7:40

Family Band's Stellar Rendition of 'Drive My Car' By The Beatles

A family band delivered an absolutely stellar rendition of The Beatles’ classic “Drive My Car.” This gifted family of musicians shows off their immense talents with their lovely cover of the beloved tune. Check out the family’s rendition of a hit from the four lads from Liverpool.

The Beatles are, without argument, the most well-known, influential and beloved band of all time. Some could make the case for Elvis Presley or The Rolling Stones, but The Beatles will likely come out on top. Musician after musician cites The Beatles as having made an impact on them. How could they not? Their many tunes are instantly recognizable, getting everyone within earshot singing along.

John, Paul, George and Ringo have seemingly an endless catalog of hits. Not only are their hits continually featured in television shows, commercials and movies, but they are also absolute classics. Most musicians and bands would be successful if they had produced even one of The Beatles’ songs.

In a delightful clip posted on YouTube, the Clark Family performs the iconic “Drive My Car.” As is always the case when this talented family performs a beloved tune, they knock it out of the park, displaying their gifts and abilities for all to see.

“Baby, you can drive my car

Yes, I’m gonna be a star

Baby, you can drive my car

And maybe I’ll love you”

It’s evident that musical talent runs in this family. But in addition to their awe-inspiring talent, their videos are exceedingly enjoyable because they all seem to enjoy themselves. Their joy and happiness while performing is infectious. It’s impossible to watch one of their many videos and not come away in a better mood. Their joy and happiness radiate from the screen.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

AGT Favorite Kodi Lee ‘Can’t Hold Me Down’ Official Music Video

Check out this epic music video. In just a room with a piano and a strong voice, we experience a powerful performance with incredible dancers. Take a look at AGT favorite Kodi Lee ‘Can’t Hold Me Down’ official music video.

Kodi Lee is a riveting performer. He has a hip hop/ballad style that is incredibly unique. There is an amazing beat and group of performers who are dancing. He has a cry in his song for trying to find his place in the music industry by being true to himself and not trying to fit the “Hollywood mold.” Kodi’s website shares his unique diagnosis and ability. “He is one of only approximately 25 in the world today who possess his extraordinary abilities. Kodi's amazing gift lies within his musical expression, perfect pitch, and passion for all forms of music. Kodi has an audio photographic memory, in which he can recall music he hears after just one listen.”

The beautiful message in Kodi’s performance reminds us of the truth that God is the Creator of all people and each one of us is made in His image. Kodi has challenges many of us do not face, but he also has superior giftings that we likely do not obtain. None of us are perfect, we are all in a fallen world.

People, especially in the entertainment industry or on social media, want to label and define what is valuable, but we know that our identity comes back to being valuable and loved by God. Hearing Kodi Lee’s new song reminds us of that and motivates originality. It is amazing to hear the talent and the passion behind this special individual who is confidently walking in his life journey.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Choir of Thousands Stun with Epic Rendition of ‘Don’t Stop Believin'

You will want to witness this powerful moment when a choir of thousands stuns with an epic rendition of ‘Don’t Stop Beliven.’ Watch this soul-stirring moment when thousands of voices come together, united under the iconic song and led by Choir! Choir! Choir!

Picture this: a cool summer evening in Peterborough Musicfest, the air filled with excitement as people of all ages gather in anticipation to listen to some good music. The stage is set, but the real magic is about to unfold in the audience. When the first chords of Journey’s ‘Don't Stop Beliven’ rang out, something incredible happened. Choir! Choir! Choir! split the audience into three singing groups and led them to sing the song accompanied by one guitar. Thousands of voices, each unique, some great, some not so great, yet all harmonized beautifully. They turned the crowd into a choir that could move mountains.

Choir! Choir! Choir! has a way of making everyone feel like they belong, like they’re a part of something bigger than themselves, with a dose of playfulness, a love of music, and fun! It wasn’t about hitting the perfect note or even knowing all the words to the song; it was about sharing the moment and letting the music become the connecting factor.

As I watched the crowd belt out, ‘Just a small-town girl, living in a lonely world,’ I couldn’t help but think of how God designed us all for connection. We’re wired to sing, to celebrate, and to be together. And on that night under the summer sky, it felt like a glimpse of heaven–thousands of voices joined in one chorus of hope and joy.

Even though you and I weren’t there, the lesson still remains: don’t stop believing. Whether it’s music, in the community, or the plans God has for you, keep singing your song. Because when we gather in the midst of life’s challenges, we remind each other that hope is ever out of reach. What a way to say goodbye to the summer–and hello to endless possibilities.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."

Woman’s Mesmerizing Performance of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’

You have to check out this woman’s mesmerizing performance of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water.’ Connie Talbot is no stranger to the stage. Her performance is one of those moments when it feels like a quiet whisper from God Himself, gently reminding us we are never alone.

‘When you're weary, feeling small, when tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all

I'm on your side, oh, when times get rough and friends just can't be found

Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down

Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down’

Picture this: Connie sitting at the piano in a warmly lit green room, surrounded by the quiet beauty of simple things, soft lights, lush greenery, and the kind of stillness that invites reflection. She sits at the piano and begins to play softly. She then opens her mouth to sing, and instantly, it feels as if time stops. Her voice is pure, tender, yet filled with strength. It’s as if every note sung carries the weight of someone who’s known the comfort of being held in the midst of life’s storms. It felt personal, like a friend sitting beside you and saying, “I’m here. You’re not alone.”

As I listened, I couldn’t help but feel the song was more than just music, it was a prayer. A promise. A reminder that no matter how troubled the waters of our lives may seem, God’s grace bridges the gap, carrying us safely to the other side.

Isn’t it beautiful how God uses music like Connie’s song to lift up our spirits and point us back to Him? In moments like this, He’s reminding us of His steadfast promise to be our refuge and strength and everpresent help in our troubles. So, if your soul needs soothing today, listen to Connie’s breathtaking rendition. Let it remind you that no matter the storm, there’s a bridge waiting to carry you because with God, there is always a way.

Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."

Fantastic Cover of ‘More Today Than Yesterday’ Is a Must-Listen

This fantastic cover of “More Today Than Yesterday” is a must-listen. This group of musicians delivered a stunning, awe-inspiring cover of the Spiral Starecase’s classic song. It’s a spot-on, most enjoyable rendition and one you will not want to miss.

Love has been and continues to be a fertile subject for singers, songwriters and authors. The world's most powerful emotion and force has kept those creative individuals busy and employed for hundreds, even thousands of years. Nearly every song you hear and book you read is about love in one way or another.

Because love has provided the subject matter for an endless number of tunes, it’s nearly impossible to get away from love songs. Turn on the radio, listen to Spotify or Apple Music, and you are bound to hear a love song. But who doesn’t enjoy a good love song, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, September in The Park, a massive collection of musicians who describe themselves as “the ultimate Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago tribute band,” performs “More than Yesterday.” It may not be a Chicago or an Earth, Wind & Fire song, but it’s still one of the most iconic and memorable love songs ever.

The song is unmistakable, sounding unlike any other, especially in the opening notes when the horns begin blaring. You know immediately what song you’re about to hear. But the song’s lovely lyrics help set this one apart from others, allowing it to stand the test of time.

“Oh, I love you more today than yesterday

But not as much as tomorrow

I love you more today than yesterday

But, darling, not as much as tomorrow”

The song’s lyrics, especially its chorus, are pure poetry. They perfectly and succinctly articulate the idea of a constantly growing and expanding romantic love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 “But now we still have faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.”

Young Musicians' Moving Cover of Hank Williams’ ‘I Saw The Light’

There is someone undeniably powerful about a family bound together by music, faith, and the kind of harmony only siblings can create. The Arizona Wildflowers, a group of young musicians, deliver a moving cover of Hank Williams’ ‘I Saw The Light,’ and if you have a sibling or two–you’ll love the sibling rivalry that’s played out on their instruments.

The Wildflowers Dietrich family is led by 15-year-old Ranelle, alongside her sisters Brie, 13, and Aspen. 11, their voices blend in a way that feels like a gentle invitation to lean into the joy and redemption this hymn so beautifully celebrates. Their siblings, eight-year-old Sawyer, play the bass, and the baby of the group, Isle,y plays the fiddle too. What makes this group so special is how much they love playing Bluegrass music. They hope to be world champions someday.

And by the way they're playing ‘I Saw The Light’, the dream isn’t too far off. Their mother, Tiffany has joined the children and played bass a time or two but now that Sawyer is keeping up with his sisters, mom is proud to watch the crew from the audience. She must be a fantastic, talented musical artist herself to teach and challenge her kids to play so well!

The crew of kids stood together in front of a fireplace, with the oldest four singing and playing their hearts out. If this is what practice sounds like at their house, it must be a bluegrass party all the time. As the song came to an end, all three sisters gathered around the microphone to sing, “I saw the light, I saw the light. No more darkness, no more night. Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight. Praise the Lord, I saw the light,” as the music faded, leaving their voices to end the song.

What an incredible rendition! We hope you enjoyed this lively crew!

John 8:12 "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.'"

Stunning A Cappella Cover of ‘The Greatest Showman’ Tune

Enjoy this stunning a cappella cover of ‘This is Me’ from the soundtrack of the 2017 hit movie ‘The Greatest Showman.’ This performance is in contrast to the movie version, in which Lettie Lutz (a.k.a. The Bearded Lady), played by Keala Settle, is joined by a bunch of her besties as they declare their freedom from and rejection of the cruelty they’ve experienced. The circus performers sing and dance together right through a party and into the snowy streets.

Here, one man sings the song!

Jared Halley is the gifted musician who sings all the parts; 16 different ones are identified on the screen, which is split into 16 incredibly fun little views! We see Jared sing four baritone parts, three tenor parts, one bass part, and the vocal lead. And that doesn’t count all of the percussive parts!

Those include cymbals, toms, a hit, a snare, and a kick! If you aren’t sure what they all are, watch closely in the frames and you can see how Jared creates each of those beats and sounds with his mouth. He does the claps the traditional way. Jared is amazing!

In addition to all of Jared’s vocalizations, he dances. His moves are slow, fast, funky, and frenzied as the music dictates. Lettie’s rendering is defiant and powerful, while Jared’s feels more confident and happy. Isn’t it fascinating the way each artist brings their unique gifts to a piece of music or art and creates something all their own!

Obviously, Jared is a major musical multi-tasker, but he records each of these parts separately and then puts them all together to create his a cappella masterpieces; there are many at his YouTube channel. He not only sings the parts, but he produces the videos as well!

Jared’s fans appreciate his work and want more. Here are a couple of their comments.

User @kissalabama wrote, “One of my favorite versions of this song! I love watching your videos!!”

User @ScottRandolph-dd7dr commented, “Jared, you are the Greatest Showman.... Excellent performance and video. Thank you for such a wonderful year of music. Always dancing in Biloxi, Mississippi.”

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’” Joshua 1:9

Pentatonix Wows with Stunning National Anthem Performance at NFL Game

It’s a must-watch that will give you chills. Pentatonix wows with a stunning National Anthem performance at the NFL game. Who cares what teams were playing? I cannot get over just how classy, demure, and powerful the Pentatonix were as they delivered our beloved National Anthem.

Over the years, there have been some sweet blunders and downright dreary performances. We cringe when we hear the first new notes play because we want the performer to be their very best and try not to embarrass us on national television. Well, this year, for the 2024 game, the NFL knew what they were doing when they asked the Pentatonix to sing us for us. It was earth-shattering and jaw-dropping, and fans took to the internet to comment.

Fans on social media couldn’t contain their praise, with comments like:

“We will NEVER forget this moment. Thank you for letting us be part of this special celebration. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!”

Another fan added tidbits of their success over the years, “This is why they’re the most successful a cappella group of all time. The only a cappella group to win Grammys and the only a cappella group with a Star of the Walk of Fame. They have gold, platinum, and double platinum albums and continue to sell out arenas on tour. They redefined this genre.”

Most were praising how their performance has been one of the best in decades. One fan wrote,  “This was hands down the best anthem in decades. Give them the Super Bowl, please!” We couldn’t agree more. How can you not hear them sing and not get goosebumps?

If you have just become a fan of Pentatonix, it is made up of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, and Kevin Olusola. The group was formed in 2011 and won the third season of NBC's ‘The Sing-Off,’ going on to win several Grammy Awards. They definitely made football fans and America proud!

Psalm 33:3  "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy."

Mom's Stunning ‘My Heart Will Go On’ Rendition Will Leave You in Awe

Moms are known for being multi-taskers. They juggle work, family, and household responsibilities like true superheroes. But every now and then, they surprise us with something so unexpected it stops us in our tracks. One mom’s stunning ‘My Heart Will Go On’ rendition did just that—delivering a performance that will leave you in awe.

Caught in the middle of making dinner with her hair up in a messy bun and wearing sweatpants, did just that, this mom acts like it’s just another Tuesday night when her child asks her to sing. But it was one of those ordinary moments that turned extraordinary.

Picture this: You’re expecting a humble, novice performance while she’s folding laundry, chopping vegetables, and dealing with the chaos that comes with running a household. But what happened next was anything but ordinary. She pauses and gathers herself. Suddenly, we’re whisked away from her kitchen to a stage worthy of the real Celine Dion.

Her voice fills the air with clear notes of Celine’s iconic ballad, and there is nothing we can do except close our jaw-dropping mouths. She belted out the song with such powerful passion that it seemed like a performance worthy of the Broadway stage–forget dinner! This mom is an absolute star.

The video was posted to TikTok and soon the comments were in the thousands. One commenter said, “I love how she’s like sure, let me throw a load of laundry in and then give a Tony worthy performance.” Another mom teased, “‘Mom can we go to a Celine Dion concert?’” “No, we have Celine Dion at home.”

One commenter added, “Overstimulated just finished yelling at the kids - belts out one of the world's most famous ballads like it’s cheese on toast.”

So the next time you see a mom in sweatpants, a messy bun, and no makeup on her face, don’t be so quick to judge. You never know the kind of talent she holds. It can be anything from being a prayer warrior to saving lives to Broadway-worthy performances!

1 Peter 4:10 "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

Family Band's Chilling Cover of Bob Dylan's 'Like A Rolling Stone'

A family band delivered a chilling cover of Bob Dylan’s classic “Like a Rolling Stone.” The talented group of musicians fully displayed their musical skills with their mesmerizing rendition of the timeless tune. Check out the video to listen to and watch the gifted family perform the beloved track.

Most musicians write their songs. Honestly, that’s probably how it should be. Don’t you lose a little bit of respect for a musician when and if you learn they don’t write their own songs? It feels like songwriting shouldn’t be something that should be farmed out to someone else.

However, regardless of how you feel about musicians writing the songs they sing, songwriting, just like singing or playing an instrument, is most definitely a talent and skill. Bob Dylan is one of the most well-known and highly regarded singer-songwriters of all time. He is constantly considered one of the best songwriters ever. His masterfully written tunes are classics that other artists continually cover. His voice, on the other hand, is very polarizing. People either seem to love or hate it.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Clark Family Creative used their immense musical abilities to play one of Bob Dylan’s most iconic songs, “Like a Rolling Stone.” This is a tune that everyone is familiar with, even if they aren’t aware of it.

“How does it feel? How does it feel?

To be without a home

Like a complete unknown, like a rolling stone”

It’s a fantastic cover performance. Those youngsters are undoubtedly skilled with their respective instruments, blessed with nimble fingers that move and hit the right chord or key at the right moment. However, Dad provides the standout performance in this clip, making this a video to watch repeatedly. He does his best Bob Dylan impression, sounding eerily similar to the longtime singer-songwriter

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Youngster’s Sweet and Adorable Rendition of ‘Moon River’

Little Nicholas Protsenko delivers a sweet and adorable rendition of ‘Moon River’ while likely having little or no understanding of the song’s rich history. However, many of the adoring adults watching and listening to the song know the song well, the movie it’s from, and the most famous versions of it. That knowledge only adds to the pleasure of hearing it sung so wonderfully by this talented 3-year-old tike!

Nicholas is accompanied by his brother, 6-year-old Leo, and his 16-year-old sister, Karolina, is just to Nicholas’s left. She holds her violin and is there to assist her younger brothers as needed. The three are regular performers in the streets of Santa Monica, California, but they are known much more widely. Karolina’s YouTube channel has 8.5 million subscribers, and Leo’s has nearly 44,000! No doubt, Nicholas will follow in their paths. All the children have inherited their musician parents’ talent!

Nicholas gives an excited little shiver at the first note, and Leo is all smiles as he plays the song’s piano introduction. The two are dressed in sweatshirts—appropriate for Southern California’s December weather. Nicholas’s feet dangle above the street from where he sits perched on a stool, and his hair is tied up so it doesn’t hang in his eyes. Leo’s legs are just long enough to navigate his keyboard’s pedals.

Before too long, Nicholas has been given a tambourine to hold in his restless little boy paws. As far as Leo, he seems so at ease and skilled. He watches the crowd as much as they watch him and his little brother. The two are amazing!

Moon River’ was composed by Henry Mancini, and the words were written by Johnny Mercer. Written for the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s and performed by the movie’s lead Audrey Hepburn, the song won the 1961 Academy Award for Best Original Song. Images from Johnny Mercer’s Savannah, Georgia childhood are set to a lovely, romantic melody. ‘Moon River’ was later covered by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Amy Winehouse, Michael Bublé, and others. Andy Williams named his Branson, MO theater after the iconic song, which became a huge hit for him.

While Nicholas and Leo may not know all that song history, they sure know how to make those listening live and later smile. A beautiful little boy singing a beautiful song—it doesn’t get much better! The hearty applause from the admiring crowd proves that!

“The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” Psalms 119:130

The Temptations Light Up the Stage with Medley of Their Iconic Hits

The Temptations light up the stage with a medley of their iconic and beloved hits. After decades, the group is still going strong, singing the songs we all know and love. Check out the short clip to watch and hear the group’s dazzling medley infused with Christmas songs.

Very few groups have withstood the test of time and are still performing decades after they first burst onto the scene. Of course, the one that immediately comes to most people’s mind is The Rolling Stones. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the rest of the guys, most of whom are in their 80s, still put on shows, wowing crowds with their timeless tunes.

Similarly, The Temptations is another group that continues to wow audiences after first forming decades ago. The Motown vocalists are legends. Their songs like “Just My Imagination,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do” and “Get Ready” are classics, still hold up and remain thoroughly enjoyable. But their tune “My Girl” stands out among the rest. It’s arguably one of the best songs of all time.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the group performed a lovely medley of some of their biggest, most beloved songs. Their stunning performance immediately transports listeners, taking them on a nostalgic trip through some of the biggest Motown hits.

Even if you aren’t a big fan of The Temptations, you still have to appreciate their legendary talent and that they’re still together and continue to perform all these years later. But honestly, how can you not love The Temptations?

Additionally, the guys give some background information on their biggest hit of all time, “My Girl.” They mention how the song came together and how, after it was released, they heard from The Beatles, The Supremes and Berry Gordy.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Child Sings Precious Cover of ‘Yesterday’ by The Beatles

A child delivered a precious cover of “Yesterday” by The Beatles. The youngster turned in what is likely to be the sweetest, most heartwarming version of the classic you’ve ever heard. Watch the video to listen to the young woman’s cover of the timeless tune.

The Beatles forever changed not just pop music but music in general. Their influence and impact continue to loom large over the music industry. One musician after another continually cites the four lads from Liverpool as having influenced them in one way or another.

Additionally, it would be difficult to find someone who has never heard of The Beatles. That’s because they are still beloved decades after they disbanded. Hits from The Beatles are still played, listened to and covered worldwide. Even people who aren’t the biggest Beatles fans (me included) will likely find they surprisingly know the lyrics to many of their songs.

Even tiny children are familiar with the Beatles’ songs. In a clip posted on YouTube, a 3-year-old girl performs one of the group’s most memorable and beloved songs, “Yesterday.” It’s likely the sweetest, most precious cover of the tune ever. You’ll want to watch and listen to her performance repeatedly. It’s just that cute!

“Yesterday

All my troubles seemed so far away

Now it looks as though they’re here to stay

Oh, I believe in yesterday”

Amazingly, the little girl knows every lyric of the Beatles song. She doesn’t stumble over or flub a single word. Instead, she effortlessly gives what is the most precious rendition of “Yesterday.” Judging by her perfect performance, she apparently knows this song inside and out.

In addition to her heartwarming rendition of the song originally sung by Paul McCartney, the 3-year-old even adds some dance moves to her performance. Throughout the two-minute clip, the little girl shows off her adorable moves.

Colossians 3:16  “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Nurse's Show-Stopping Performance of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’

One nurse delivered a show-stopping, awe-inspiring performance of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The young man’s performance on Ireland’s Got Talent is stunning as he nails the Elvis Presley classic. Watch the video to hear the young singer’s outstanding performance of a beloved tune.

The good Lord has blessed and gifted everyone with a set of talents. Those skills and abilities are given for us to use and to bring glory and honor to His name. However, like everything else someone gives us, a gift is only good if it’s being used as intended.

People are much more talented and capable of achieving amazing things than we’d like to realize. For whatever reason, many people seem afraid to use their talents. Perhaps they fear criticism or judgment, or maybe something happened in their past that makes them shy away from utilizing their talent or skill.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Rodelle Borja, a 29-year-old nurse living in Dublin, takes the stage and stands before the judges and the studio audience. From the moment he walks out onto the stage, it’s clear that the young man is incredibly nervous. But he does say that he sings almost daily to the patients, and they seem to enjoy it, he adds.

After a quick back-and-forth with the judges, Rodelle does his best to stifle his nerves and begins singing the Elvis Presley classic. He has a lovely singing voice and immediately wins over the studio audience. Seconds into his performance, they hoot and holler their wholehearted approval.

As the song progresses, Rodelle becomes increasingly comfortable on stage. His nerves seem to evaporate before our eyes, and his performance continues to improve.

The young man, who was obviously nervous in the opening moments of the clip, received a standing ovation and four enthusiastic and emphatic yes votes from the judges.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

3-Year-Old Sings Classic ‘Lean On Me’ as Part of Precious Duet

You’ll never forget the moment you witness 3-year-old Angelica Nero sing the classic song ‘Lean On Me’ as a part of a precious duet. It was a bright sunny day, and Angelica and Liya sat on a rooftop covered in grass with a canopy of trees behind them to bring you a special song.

‘Lean On Me’ has been sung hundreds of times since it was first released in 1972 by Bill Withers. There’s just something about that song that reminds us no matter what we’re going through, we’re never, ever alone. We have friends, family, and even strangers who will come to help us if we simply ask. What a beautiful lesson for little Angelica to learn at such a tender age. It was too cute to watch her sing all about it too. Dressed in a flower-covered sweater and pigtails, she sat next to Liya and waited for her turn to sing her parts of the song. What happened next was nothing short of magical with a mix of preciousness.

She sang so well fans couldn’t help but like the song, too. The beautiful duo went viral on YouTube with over 8,000 views, 22,000 subscribers, and hundreds of comments. One viewer said, “I am a faithful fan of Angelica. I don’t know why, but every time I listened to Angelica, I burst into tears. God bless you all. You are amazing!”  Another fan added, “She's so adorable. She captures my heart.” A great-grandmother couldn’t help but add a comment of her own. She said, “I just love her she is so sweet and sings great. I am your fan, and I am a great-grandmother.”

So, my friend, just like Angelica showed us the power of leaning on a friend during this sweet duo, may we remember to lean on the ultimate friend we have in Jesus, who will never leave us and is always ready to carry our burdens. Amen!

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Heartwarming Moment Iam Tongi Surprises Beloved Teacher with Special Performance

American Idol winner Iam Tongi surprised a beloved teacher with a special performance, making for a heartwarming moment. The gifted young man surprised the teacher and students when he appeared and gave an unexpected performance. Check out the video to see how the teacher and the students reacted to the American Idol’s surprise appearance.

Educators are a unique and vital group of people. What they do and say in the classroom will literally impact the next generation and our world for years to come. Teachers are in places of extreme importance, teaching and touching young lives daily.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a music teacher, Jenni Warner, was surprised with a special performance by Iam Tongi, the winner of American Idol’s Season 21. The teacher and most of the students had no idea who would be walking through those doors.

The video mentions that the students and the teacher were gathered together, believing they were attending an assembly to discuss a food drive. But that was not the case at all. Yes, the food drive was part of it, but the real reason was to surprise Jenni Warner.

When asked what she loves most about her job, Jenni did not hesitate.

“Oh, the students,” she said. “Guys, this is going to make me cry. The kids that I get to teach and be with every day are incredible humans. And I love that making music just like connects all of us together. It’s really fun.”

When Iam walked through the doors and entered the room, the students started screaming and cheering joyfully. Jenni also could not believe her eyes.

As he consistently did on American Idol, Iam showed he is an incredibly talented and musically gifted young man. He most certainly deserved to be the popular music competition program winner.

Prepare to enjoy fantastic talent from a young woman and a drum set. She will have you dancing along to her strong beat. Check out this video where a young drummer nails a spot-on cover of ‘Jailhouse Rock' by Elvis Presley.

It is extremely entertaining to hear this old classic with Elvis. The video footage shows a teen girl playing the drums with zeal and a side video of her foot camera. She is working so hard. Then, we get black-and-white original clips of Elvis in his video performance of ‘Jailhouse Rock.’ This song is high-energy, and it makes you want to dance along. You will find yourself singing, tapping, or swaying along.

This young woman is sitting in front of a red curtain on a small stage. She goes by Sina-Drums. She is extremely gifted with rhythm, plays from her heart, and gets you engaged. A lot of drummers play the background and carry the steady beat. What is unique about Sina is that she has front running and entertaining abilities, along with her drumming ability. She is a special performer in her field. It is truly inspiring to watch her creativity and her strength to keep you engaged the entire song, along with the delight of watching Elvis dance next to her in the throwback video clips.

We are invited to have this type of passion for God in our worship to Him. We are called to use our instruments and our bodies to praise Him. Whether you like drumming, singing, or simply lifting your hands, our sacrifices of praise can be a sweet offering to our Savior.

“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” Psalm 33:1-3

Voice Contestant Delivers Chilling Rendition of Roy Orbison Classic

Sofronio Vasquez, ‘The Voice’ contestant, delivers a chilling rendition of Roy Orbison’s classic ‘Crying’ that makes you think you’re smack dab in 1962 when the song was first released. Sofronio had been making waves on The Voice since the beginning, when he gained fans after his cover of ‘That’s What Friends Are For’ went viral, reaching over nine million views. Before making his debut on The Voice, would you believe he actually competed in a Filipino reality singing competition? I had no idea until I dived deep into the internet to learn more about one of The Voice’s contestants. It seems like he was made to make a living singing and performing.

Before he came on the show, you wouldn’t believe what his full-time job was. The talented young man was a dental assistant and was pursuing a career as a dentist. Sonfronio’s journey to the stage is unique and reminds us to keep pursuing our dreams as we continue to live in everyday life even when the path isn’t always easy. One of the hardest parts of performing ‘Crying’ is that the song held deep emotions for the singer as it reminded him of his late father.

The performance was out of this world as he stepped onto the center of the stage in a simple suit. It didn’t need anything flashy to gain the audience’s attention. He knew he would win them over with his powerful voice. Sofronio sang every note with all of his heart and it was refreshing to watch how he simply poured his heart into the music. When he hit the final high notes, he had the crowd and the judges going wild. It was in incredible moment to watch unfold.

Fans took to the internet to talk about whether or not he would make it to the winning finale. One viewer commented, “That is how you perform in a contest! You nailed it Sofronio! We are all rooting for you.” Another added, “I live in Korea. But, how this Philipino man sings really touches my heart and soul. Just impressive! Way to go, Sofronio!” Another fan couldn’t help but gush over the performance; she said, “Sofronio's rendition of ‘Crying’ has become so addictive that I've watched this over and over and over again.” We couldn’t agree more.

We don’t know if he will win the season finale, but we do know this won’t be the last we see this amazing singer. He will no doubt have a future in music. What did you think of this epic and stunning performance?

Duo Stuns with Fantastic Cover of The Beatles’ ‘Come Together’

An incredibly talented duo stunned with a fantastic cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together.” The two musically gifted young women wow with their beautiful and unique performance of one of the most beloved songs ever. Check out the video to watch and listen to their awe-inspiring performance of a classic from The Beatles.

The Beatles are, without a doubt, one of the most iconic and influential bands ever. In a short time together, Paul, John, George and Ringo produced songs that are still widely listened to, played and covered decades after they broke up. Even those who aren’t the biggest fans of the four lads from Liverpool understand how important the Beatles were and still are to music.

They have dozens of songs people immediately notice, often within the first couple of notes. Seconds later, once either John or Paul starts singing those memorable lyrics, everyone within earshot will soon be singing along. It’s almost a reflex, and it doesn’t matter if you enjoy The Beatles or don't.

In a clip posted on YouTube, two women put on a lovely, dazzling and free public performance of The Beatles “Come Together.” Even if you didn’t know the song the young ladies were about to perform, the iconic opening notes on the guitar give it away. That’s how widely known and beloved The Beatles remain.

The young performers’ talents are undeniable. Neither of them misses or hits a false note or flubs a lyric. It’s a near-flawless performance, and while covering a Beatles tune, that isn't easy to do. Because John, Paul, George and Ringo’s songs are so well-known, any cover is immediately and harshly judged against the original.

This is one cover even the most diehard Beatles fan will have difficulty finding fault with. I don't think anyone could cover a Beatles song better than the two young women did in this clip.
