Firefighters are known for getting calls about kittens trapped in trees, but this rescue was completely different. A baby kitten had gotten stuck in the plastic base of a basketball hoop. St. Tammany Fire Protection in Louisiana arrived on scene and immediately got to work to rescue the scared cat. Just watch as they carefully remove pieces of the hoop to allow the kitten to be pulled to safety. Even though this cat was ready to run free, the kind firefighters made sure to get a few pictures of the rescue. I'm so glad that they were able to help out and I know that this kitten is happy to be free. A big thanks to all of these amazing firefighters for their hard work!

In July 2017, Senator McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer. Recently, some comments were made about her father's health and Meghan was asked to address them on the show. Instead of getting into a heated political debate, this eloquent woman took the high road. She said that the biggest thing in her family is prayer. She believes that the power of prayer truly works and she sees that with her father. Meghan goes on to say that her family is full of love and positivity right now. They are putting their faith in God and that's exactly where it should be. Continue to pray for this family as they battle through this cancer.

Singer and songwriter Christina Grimmie rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice. As an outspoken Christian, Christina touched lives all across the world. Sadly, this young life was tragically killed after one of her concert's in Orlando, Florida. And while Christina may no longer be here on earth, her memory and legacy continues to live on. Today, her mother, Tina Grimmie, is releasing a song that Christina started writing when she was just 12 years old. This beautiful song, titled 'Little Girl' talks about the special relationship between a mother and a daughter and it was finished while Christina's mom was going through breast cancer treatment. These words gave Tina comfort during hard times and now she's letting the whole world listen to this powerful message. Christina was truly a one-of-a-kind performer and she is definitely missed by many. I'm so glad that her music continues to touch people and her memory will never be forgotten.

When a woman’s 3-month-old baby wasn't responding while she was driving, she started to panic. That's when this frantic mom flagged down Deputy Jeremie Nix and rushed the baby to his arms. Every moment is captured on the police dash cam and it's absolutely heart-stopping to watch. After performing several life-saving techniques on the infant, Deputy Nix made the decision to drive straight to the emergency room instead of waiting for paramedics. Once he arrived, a crew of medical professionals met him and was able to get the baby to response. I know that this mother must've been so relived to know that her baby was going to be okay. Thank goodness that this police officer was in the right place at the right time. God bless our heroes in blue.

But recently, Jennie was met with moral dilemma when she was asked to perform to a risque song. After going back and forth, Jennie ultimately decided that this song was not representative of what she stood for and asked producers to give her an alternate selection. This amazing woman said that she wanted to glorify God and she couldn't do that dancing to an inappropriate song, especially when young girls look up to her as a role model. In this day and age, standing up for your faith doesn't happen that often so I'm so proud of Jennie for speaking up for God. She went on to perform a great Cha-Cha routine to “Do It Like This" by Daphne Willis. Who else is clapping for this strong, Christian woman?

42-year-old Lifford Shillingford gave up the spotlight years ago. He was a talented performer with the hit UK band Artful Dodger and even toured with the guys. But now, Lifford is ready to give his dream another shot and he's turning to the Britain's Got Talent stage. Just listen as he performs the most amazing rendition of 'A Change Is Gonna Come' from Sam Cooke. Lifford put so much heart and soul into this performance and it truly comes through in his voice. It's obvious this man is meant to be on the stage and I'm so glad that he's continuing to follow his dreams. He easily earned a standing ovation, but what really surprised me is when judge Alesha pressed her golden buzzer sending Lifford straight through to the semi-finals. Lifford gave this audition his all and it truly paid off big time. I can't wait to see him during the live shows!

God loves us more than we can ever imagine and He has given us so much by sending His only Son to die for our sins. Because of this, we are now forgiven and will live out our days in Heaven. They decided to perform a flash mob and the bride and groom had no clue it was going to happen. Doreen Giuliano was looking our her window when she noticed a strange sight at her neighbor's house. There was a man poking around the garbage pails before he finally opened the side door and walked inside the home. Doreen immediately sent her neighbor, Jen Hunter, a text message telling her what she had seen. Doreen became increasingly concerned until Jen and her 18-year-old daughter walked outside and met her on the lawn. Jen's husband, Jeremy, was still inside the house. They decided to call 911 and when the police arrived, they ran inside to find Jeremy laying on the floor unconscious. The intruder had murdered him while the women were all outside. Eventually, the police found the suspect hiding in a closet and arrested him. This terrible situation could've ended in even more bloodshed if this 'nosy neighbor' hadn't texted Jen. We're praying for this family as they go through such pain but also thank kind neighbors, like Doreen, who are always looking out for others.

Mallorie Bush Cochran was 22 weeks pregnant when she began chemotherapy to treat her cancer. Everyone was rallying behind this amazing woman and prayers were being said everyday. But when Ms. Jamina came to visit Mallorie in the hospital, it was a life-changing moment.
