Entrusted With The Gospel

Did you know that it is possible to teach the truth of God's Word and do so for the wrong motives? If God had to choose, He'd rather have a sleazeball teaching truth than an upright man teaching error about His Word? Why? Because all the hearers could benefit from the former, but not the latter. Of course what God really wants is for an upright man to teach truth. The two sections from Philippians and Thessalonians covered in this teaching are inspiring.

The Elijah Progression, pt. 5: Dusting ourselves off, doing God's will

The Daily Pulse (Friday, November 14, 2014): The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. 1 Kings 19:15 (NIV)

The Eiljah Progression, pt. 4: God questions us

The Elijah Progression, pt. 2: Depression

The Daily Pulse (Tuesday, November 11, 2014): ... Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” ... 1 Kings 19:1-5 (NIV)

The Elijah Progression, pt. 3: Questioning God

The Daily Pulse (Wednesday, November 12, 2014): He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” 1 Kings 19:10 (NIV)

11-9-14 MESSAGE: "Forward Ho!"

We cannot move forward while looking backward! God desires that we work toward tomorrow today. The past only serves to remind us what God has done, but the truth is He is able to do far greater things today! Do not put the Lord in a box. Trust Him and move forward into the new thing He is doing! It is bound to be miraculous!

The Elijah Progression, pt. 1: Mountain top experience

The Daily Pulse (Monday, November 10, 2014): At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!” 1 Kings 18:36-39 (NIV)

God isn't just in the middle of it - He caused it!

The Daily Pulse (Sunday, November 9, 2014): "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care." Matthew 10:29 (NIV)

Dressed For The Occasion

Who made the first clothing in human history? Adam and Eve. Why, and why did God think it sartorially tasteless, such that He gave them a new wardrobe? What are Christians today supposed to put on? And how will the Lord Jesus clothe us at his appearing?

Don't All Good People Go To Heaven

Actually, all good people HAVE gone to heaven, but only one person is in that group. That would be JESUS CHRIST, the only man to live a sinless life, die as the payment for all men's sins, and be raised to new life by his Father, God. The rest of us, sin-laden descendants of Adam, are described in Romans 3 as "none good, no, not one." That is why God has made available salvation by GRACE through faith in the work of Jesus Christ. And Paradise, not heaven, is our destination.

Not only sharing, but taking it all His shoulders!

Sharing His body

The Daily Pulse (Wednesday, November 5, 2014): The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (NIV)

Sharing teaching

The Daily Pulse (Tuesday, November 4, 2014): These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NIV)

Is Your Election Sure?

If you are going to vote make sure you are voting for someone how is after the things of God. The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Before you have a kingdom you have to first have a king.

King and Dom means the king has dominion over the land. A king sets laws, owns all the land. The Bible deals with real stuff...it deals with the day to day things.

God says that he will place in office who he wants to place in office... The thing we have to remember is are we in the will of God? When you are praying the Lord's prayer, you are praying for Jesus to come back to His Kingdom. We are in the times where we are under Grace.

When you are going to eat your food, Bless it and it will be sanctified....

When Christ Jesus comes back there would not be any democrat or republican, it will be His laws. Just because you say that you are Christian, doesn't mean that you would enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 4:17-25
" From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
