Summary: As we continue to journey through the Old Testament history, we take a closer look at the lives of Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, and Esau to understand the seeds of faith and rebellion that began in Genesis, and what implications that has for us today.

We continue our ongoing walk through the Book of Romans. This week we covered chapter 12, verses 6 through 9. We looked at the role of grace in spiritual gifts, the call for preparation in ministry, and the need for simplicity in giving. Summary: As Jesus sends the letter to the church in Ephesus, we examine the struggles of being in the church and the risks of losing our First Love.

The law is dead and we are now married, by grace, to Christ! It is folly to try and revive the law. All sincere souls have access to God, without restrictions. We have no right to label unclean or common those whom God has deemed clean by reason of faith in and obedience to His Gospel!

In light of the fact that a Christian has both an old sin nature and a new righteous nature, it if often not that easy to agree with yourself, so to speak. Our goal is, as Paul succinctly stated, that our way of life agrees with what we say. And it can.

God invented people, and gave us flexible faces. As per Proverbs 15:13, your face is a mirror of what is in your heart, running the gamut of weeping with joy to weeping with sorrow. Scripture has much to say about JOY, a fruit of the spirit. If a smile is the look of joy, then laughter is the sound of joy. As this teaching shows, God speaks of two categories of laughter.
