In Today's sermon, Pastor Jim Rhodes builds on last's weeks sermon to have us ask ourselves if we have settled in our Christian life for what we have. We are to passionately and continually seek a greater knowledge and communion with Jesus. As we draw ever closer to Jesus, we are filled with His peace and His presence. He will reveal more about Himself to us and help us to have a greater understanding of His love for us. As we do this, we will live the Abundant Life. God will put a hunger for Him that grows deeper within us each day, and He will satisfy that Hunger as we seek Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength. As He reveals His love for us more and more, we should show our love for Him by obeying His commands. When we settle for where we are in our relationship with Jesus, we are like the blind man who can only partially see when Jesus touched Him. If this is where we are, we need to ask ourselves, "Do I need a second touch from Jesus?" After all, you cannot coast uphill...
While they call it a ceasefire, is it really? Can there ever be peace in the Middle East when Israel is surrounded by those whose uniform goal is to eradicate the Jews? John brings us update on pressing cultural and geopolitical developments in this week's update entitled "Ceasefire?"

We are in week three of our May series: "Dominion & Authority." This week we look at letting go our past sin and mistakes and hanging onto Jesus. I hope you will join us!
In Today's sermon, Pastor Jim Rhodes encourages us to discern God's plan for us today. We have a tendency to live in the past - reliving the glory of what God has already done. We should instead be striving and seeking to know what God want to do through us and in us today and for what God has in store for us. To do this, we must be receptive to the Holy Spirit's promptings, trusting that God wants to show us the way. When Jesus shows up, everything changes and the world takes notice. Our desire for Jesus' presence in our lives should increase each and every day. And because God is infinite, He is able to satisfy this deepest desire of our heart. As as we are filled with His love and presence, the Holy Spirit will empower us to fulfill His desires in His power under His guidance for His glory. And tomorrow, with great joy, we will ask again, Now! What?
