Pastor Paul examines the 9 spiritual gifts from 1 Cor. 12

In Today's sermon, Pastor Jim Rhodes reminds us that although we face many challenges, we are to claim the promises of God. We have assurance that God will keep every promise that He has made. As we remember the goodness of God, we ought to remind ourselves of those who don't have the same privilege that we have been afforded through our relationship with Christ. Our hearts should go out to those who are broken, hurting, harassed, and helpless. Since we have this great privilege to bring the Good News of Salvation to the world, let us embrace this heavenly calling with compassion on those who do not know God - especially the marginalized, the overlooked, the poor, the rejected. Remember - the greatest tool for evangelism in your toolbox is hospitality. The only reason that we are not being effective at this is that our asking, our thinking, and our praying is too small. Because of this, our expectations are very limited. After all, has not Jesus said, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son."?

La biblia dice que Jesús llevó tus enfermedades y sufrió tus dolores para que tú ahora estés sano.
Sólo tienes que creer en JESÚS y pedirle que entre a tu corazón y perdone tus pecados.

● Repite este versículo de la biblia varias veces al día cada día: “Por las heridas de Jesús fuimos sanados y por esta promesa yo soy sano”. (los azotes que sufrió en la cruz representan tu sanidad para este tiempo)
● Tienes que creerlo con todo tu corazón porque Jesús te ama y quiere verte sano de cualquier enfermedad. (no te rindas, insiste y créele a Jesús)

Sometimes I don't speak too clearly. This is a challenge I have that I am working on and the Lord and my lovely and very patient wife are helping me to improve.

In secular and Christian circles it is said often that Jesus did not clearly articulate who He was.

Hmmmm... was He unclear or are people just choosing not to listen to what He clearly said?

The Connection Between the Power of God’s Grace For Eternal Salvation and Personal Weakness

1/ You cannot do something to earn salvation from God!
- surveys prove most people think you must work to earn eternal life
- people think by good works salvation can be earned
- if you were convicted of murder you could not work to pay your debt!
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 NKJV

If God is so powerful, why are so many Christians living in spiritual defeat?

Do you know how to appropriate grace so that “sin shall not have dominion over”?
Do you know how to draw on God’s grace so that you never have depression or burnout?
Do you know how to experience the great freedom grace gives to resolve your financial pressures?
Do you know how to grow to maturity in your walk with God by the power of God’s all-sufficient grace?
