This is a song that simply came into my head one day when I was praying and repenting of a sin I had just done in haste. I know for sure that it was God's answer to my prayer. Over the years I've gradually came to understand more and more, the meaning of the wonderful words.

"Hosanna to the Risen Lord" is a catchy song giving praise to God that Jesus is risen, having died for the sins of the world. Jesus gave his life to forgive people for their sins, if they put their faith in him. He was resurrected, within three days.

These two songs go back to my childhood and teenage years. I am even more blessed by them today.

There are seven biblical references in which Jesus states, "I Am." These statements explain that He is the Saviour. The seven bible references and this song is to remind us that through professing our faith, we will find the way to Christ and the promise of the afterlife. I wrote this song back in 1981, or so when I was in prison for 30 years over 20 years ago home now free, and loving Jesus. When I first come home I began growing my first tomatoes for the Spring season in my house. It was a project I've always wanted to do. In Maine the summers are short but the soil is beautiful. I give all the glory for the many years God has restored back to me that the locust stole from me as an addict, and criminal most of my young years but when He touched me I was no longer the same...Amen!

For God So Love You.... Jn 3: 16 Love Recklessly Loves You And You Have To Reciprocate That Love To The Best Of Your Ability.

Dennis Quaid, a multi-talented performer who has starred in dozens of films over the years, is now flexing his musical muscles while singing “Fallen,” a gospel tune about making wrong choices and seeking to turn away from sin.

Everyone’s life is the sum of a series of choices and decisions. People make hundreds of choices every day without even considering them or thinking about them. Yes, things happen that are often unexpected or out of our control. But for the most part, people are where they are because of either good or poor decisions made along the way. 

In a clip posted on YouTube, actor Dennis Quaid strums on the guitar while singing an original song of his about a series of wrong choices he made in life. Those decisions, as he sings, eventually led him down a dark path and to a place he never wanted to be. 

“The Rookie” star sings how he grew up in the church, was taught about Christ, but was led astray. The devil, he states, offered him the pleasures of this world, causing him to turn away from what he had been taught as a child. 

He admits that he “stood high on top of that mountain,” but it came at a huge cost. In the following line, he sings that he did not realize, through his poor decisions, what a massive hole he had dug for himself. It was during this time that he called out the name of Jesus for help and to rescue him.

I’m fallen
Calling out, ‘Help me Jesus’
All I want to do is go back home”

Near the end of the song, Dennis sings that he is, in fact, the prodigal son. He wants to turn away from his sinful ways, go back home and enter into a right relationship with Jesus Christ.

Four immensely gifted young men take listeners on a tour of gospel music through the years.

While some people may fight against it, that old saying is true. Change is the only constant thing in life. The weather, clothing styles and even the way in which people talk and communicate with one another are changing. So, in a world of so much change, it would only make sense the music, especially gospel music would as well.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Kings Return, a Grammy-nominated vocal group, performs some of the biggest and most beloved gospel hits using only the power of their voices. With their A Cappella performance, they display how lyrics, melody and sound have changed in gospel music throughout the years. 

Some of the songs the guys belt out include “This Little Light of Mine,” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” “Oh Happy Day” and “No Weapon.”

Their performance is a magnificent display of musical talent. They have all four been blessed with beautiful voices. Their harmonies are some of the best you’re likely to hear. At no point throughout the nearly 7-minute video do they miss a note or appear to be out of sync with one another. 

Their stunning vocal performance is literal music to the ears. Given the absurd amount of talent that is on display in the clip, it’s no wonder why the four gentlemen have been Grammy nominated. 

But that remarkably performed compilation of gospel songs is far from the only video from Kings Return. On their YouTube channel, viewers will find the guys performing other beloved gospel songs such as “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” “O Holy Night” and “Amazing Grace.” They also have videos of themselves singing more secular songs like “How Deep Is Your Love.”
