Michael W. Smith Delivers Moving 'Above All' Live Performance

Christian music artist Michael W. Smith delivered a moving and emotional performance of “Above All,” a beautiful song about Christ’s powerful, life-changing love and mercy.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Everyone on earth is a sinner, having willfully turned away from God’s teachings and commands. With arrogance and total disobedience, all chose their own way, disregarding God.

However, while we were still lost in sin and shame, God's love never stopped. Even while we were still sinners, God sent His one and only Son to die on the cross, taking all our sins and shame on Himself. He died, paying the ultimate sacrifice for us. The Bible says Christ demonstrated His wondrous, perfect, and astounding love for us by dying on the cross.

On Good Friday, we recognize and honor Christ’s painful, agonizing and horrible death on the cross. But Praise God, that is not where the story ends!

Days later, on Easter morning, the grave was empty, and the stone rolled away. He arose from the grave, winning the ultimate and forever victory over sin, death and hell.

Christ willingly gave His life for us, suffering death, even death on the cross, so that we may have forgiveness, know Him and have everlasting life. Christ did all of that for you and me!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael W. Smith, backed up by an entire orchestra, plays the piano and sings “Above All.” It’s a song that perfectly captures Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and how he did it all for you and me.

“Like a rose trampled on the ground

You took the fall

And thought of me

Above all”

Christ paid a debt, one that we could never repay. He willingly did what no one else could do. Glory and honor to His name!

Luke 24:2-3 “And they saw that the stone had been rolled away. And they went in, but the body of the Lord Jesus was not there.”

Bethel Music, Hannah McClure, Noah Paul Harrison 'Lift Up Holy Hands/He's Alive' Performance

Several talented Christian musicians, including Bethel Music, Hannah McClure and Noah Paul Harrison, turned in a moving performance of “Lift Up Holy Hands/He’s Alive.”

Without Christ’s loving and awe-inspiring sacrifice, all would be lost, condemned to live out their days in their sin and shame. But because He willingly went to the cross, taking all sin and guilt upon Himself, forgiveness and everlasting life with Him is possible.

But He didn’t just die on the cross, never to return. Days later, when those who went to check on Christ’s body, they found the grave empty and the stone rolled away. Christ was nowhere to be found in the tomb.

He has risen!

He won the victory over sin, death and hell. Praise His excellent name!

In a clip posted on YouTube, several musicians sing praise and worship to Him, singing about the one true and risen King!

“Oh, oh, He’s alive, and He’s alive and He is risen

Lift your voice, lift up your faith today

He’s alive, and He’s alive, and He is risen

Oh, sing holy”

As the musicians put on their outstanding and emotional performance, the crowd, looking on, sings along and lifts their hands up in praise.

Seeing that many people praise and worship the Lord together is a moving scene.

What a sight and a shock it would have been to come up to the tomb of Jesus Christ that Easter Sunday morning and see His grave empty. Those women must have been instantly flooded with questions and concerns. But they had no reason to worry or to be concerned, for He is risen.

The one they call Jesus, the Savior, He is alive! Praise God.

Luke 24:2-3 “And they saw that the stone had been rolled away. And they went in, but the body of the Lord Jesus was not there.”

Reba McEntire's Upbeat 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' Lyric Video Delivers

The legendary Reba McEntire delivered an upbeat and energetic performance of a beloved and classic tune, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” in a lyric video.

Everyone’s time on Earth is limited. It’s simply a momentary stop, with eternity awaiting all. As ironic as it may be, death is a part of life. It’s something that everyone will experience at one time or another. Sadly, most people’s lives have already been impacted by death, either by the passing of a friend or a family member.

However, after that time on Earth has expired, everyone will find themselves spending eternity in one of two places. For those who follow Christ and adhere to His teachings and commands, death is not something to fear. Instead, passing from this world into eternity can almost be something to embrace.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Queen of Country Music, Reba, performed “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” a tune that is a favorite of many. It’s about anticipating the moment when they leave this world and proceed to their eternal home.

“Swing low, sweet chariot

Coming for to carry me home

Swing low, sweet chariot

Coming for to carry me home”

However, instead of performing the familiar song in a way people have heard hundreds of times before, Reba makes it her own. She increases the song’s tempo, making it an upbeat, fast-paced and joyous tune about making it heaven.

It’s exactly the kind of move you would expect from such a seasoned and professional performer. Prior to her vocal performance, understanding how well-known the song is, she encourages the audience to join in with her.

Also, for those watching who don’t already know the words to the song about making your way to heaven, the lyrics are shown on the bottom of the screen throughout the clip.

Reba’s performance perfectly captures the joy and happiness that will be present in the moment when we finally make it to heaven!

Psalm 105:2 “Let your voice be sounding in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.”

Uplifting Cochren Co. 'Be There For You' Performance

This YouTube video, ‘Be There For You’ is by Cochren & Co. The song is from their second album, Running Home, which came out in 2023. The album is about Michael Cochren returning to God and it is a good reminder for us all.

Cochren & Co. is a contemporary Christian band led by Michael Cochren. After he finished school he started a band with his friends, later adding his wife Leah. In 2018, they signed with TobyMac’s Gotee Records and released their 1st single. They also made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry in June 2023.

‘Be There For You’ is a song about someone being there for someone else. The lyrics remind us that we are not alone in this life and that we can find comfort in knowing that we don’t have to go through struggles all by ourselves. That other people are there and can help us through.

In the video, Michael is on the keyboard and vocals and his band members are using different instruments such as a tambourine, drums, and a guitar. It appears that they are singing the song in a warehouse of some kind. The music is comforting as are the lyrics.

“Days fade in and leave the same

An endless battle, seems like nothing has changed

I wish I could tell you when this season will end

Better days are coming and I promise til then”

We can’t know when the bad days will end and things will get better but we do know that God walks with us through them and that he sends us other people to support us. We may go through struggles but better days will eventually come.

“But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:31

Phil Wickham Unveils Special 'Sunday Is Coming' Hometown Version Lyric Video

This YouTube video is a music video for Phil Wickham’s new single, a song called ‘Sunday is Coming - Hometown Version.’

This lyric video has a simple background of a sunset over the water. The lyrics appear over the video image, and it's all quite peaceful.

The song, ‘Sunday is Coming - Hometown Version,’ is about Jesus dying on the cross for us and all he went through beforehand. It’s a reminder of his sacrifice, and that we should focus on Sunday, the day he rose again. That Sunday is the most important day in the history of the world.

The chorus says it all:

“Friday's good 'cause Sunday is coming

Don't lose hope 'cause Sunday is coming

Devil, you're done, you better start running

Friday's good 'cause Sunday is coming”

This version of the song is the Hometown version, which is slightly different from the original. It is a softer and quieter version that appeals to some people.

According to YouTube, Phil Wickham is a Grammy-nominated, Dove award-winning artist and leader in the modern worship movement. He has released 10 worship albums; his first came out in 2003. He started leading worship for his youth group when he was just 13 years old.

Many in the comments really enjoyed this song and video. One commenter says, “The Hometown Version is filled with God's beauty while remembering Jesus' life and sacrifice for each one of us. We have so much to look forward to - Oh, Church Arise!” and another states, “So beautiful Phil Wickham. I love this Hometown Version. You are a true man of God. I love you and your beautiful music. May God continue to bless you.”

“He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” - Luke 24: 6-

‘Because Of Christ’ Mitch Wong Moving Live Performance

A Grammy Award-winning musician, Mitch Wong, turned in a moving and awe-inspiring rendition of “Because of Christ,” a tune about the love and sacrifice that brings hope and life to all.

No one is perfect. Everyone has failed, stumbled and turned away from God, ignoring his commands and teachings. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, as the Bible says. God’s Word also states that the penalty for that sin is death.

However, God has made a way because of His tremendous, astounding love, mercy and grace. Yes, all will experience a physical death as our bodies will eventually give out. But because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, we don’t have to experience a spiritual death.

Christ’s death and resurrection won the victory over sin, death and hell. He willingly went to the cross, suffering an agonizing, brutal, and wholly undeserved death on our behalf. He did all that so we might have hope and an opportunity at eternal life with Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Mitch performs “Because of Christ.” It’s a song about exactly what the name indicates. The lyrics point out how Christ made all the difference. How He came willing to give up His life, and because of that ultimate sacrifice and act of love, we have hope.

The lyrics are beautiful, perfectly capturing the difference He made for mankind.

“May I never boast in anything

Except the cross of Jesus Christ

May I not forget the blood He shed

It is by His death I am alive”

What powerful lyrics!

We could never do anything to be worthy of such a gift. He paid a price, a debt that we could never fulfill. He took our sins on Himself. Because of what He did, we now have hope.

Glory to His name!

Galatians 6:14 “But far be it from me to have glory in anything, but only in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which this world has come to an end on the cross for me, and I for it.”

Song Jesus

I helped the daughter of a Congolese preacher. she took me to the nearest evangelic church, First in bits and pieces I received a melody that was not at all common to the songs I normally write, and suddenly completely, this song came to me in a creasy moment. and so I wrote it down in a creasy moment, later on I made a video in a creasy moment, later on I put it on the internet, in a creasy moment. Pl. Don't hold me responsible for the consequences.... I upload it here, because this feels like a save environment to share such a song. I'm not really able to handle much critisism... thanks for your kindness and understanding. The lyrics and music are not mine, they where given to me, I'm only here to share this. I don't feel like I own this song.

Dionne Warwick And Son Perform Gospel Song ‘I Kneel’ On Good Morning America

Legendary musician Dionne Warwick and her son, Damon Elliott, sang together on Good Morning America, turning in a lovely performance of their gospel tune, “I Kneel.”

Praying and communicating with the Lord is something everyone could do more. It’s simply impossible to pray too much. He wants us to be in constant communication with Him. How else do you grow a relationship with someone except through talking and communicating?

No matter the situation or the circumstance, prayer is always the answer. He wants us to reach out to Him when things look bleak and hopeless and when life is good. He desires continuous communication with those who love and follow Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dionne and Damon perform “I Kneel” live on Good Morning America. It’s a tune about the importance of prayer in all of life’s situations and circumstances – during the bad and the good, morning, noon and night.

“I kneel before the Father
And I kneel before the Son
Whether I’m moving mountains or turning stones or crawling in the valley low
I kneel before the Father”

Life can become overwhelming and get to the point where going on feels like asking too much. In those instances, we should reach out to the Father for help, comfort, guidance and direction. He will provide and be that shelter in the storm.

On the other hand, life provides several reasons to celebrate and be joyful. In those times, we should also be in prayer, thanking the Lord for what He has done and for the many blessings in our lives.

No matter what is going on or the situation, God seeks constant and consistent communication from His children. Prayer is a necessary and vital part of a daily and ongoing walk with the Lord.

Philippians 4:6 “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Do as Jesus Would Do

I once read a book where a lot of the people in a town decided to live their lives according to God's Word. I was so taken in by it that I decided to write this song. Yes to live a godly life style sure does make a big difference!
