I saw a beautiful dolphin in the wild when I was in Dingle, Ireland. His name is "Fungie" and he's loved by everyone who is lucky enough to see him. He looks like he's happy and smiling! I couldn't wait to go home and paint him. I looked at a photo I took of him from the boat while painting this, but the joyfulness came from memory.
