One dog was feeling a bit selfish and hilariously refused to share with a playful puppy.

Selfishness and self-centeredness are not good traits to possess and exhibit. They are not the way to be or live life. No one enjoys being around someone who is only concerned about themselves, and someone like that will quickly find themselves alone and without many friends.

Being selfish and putting yourself at number one is expressly against God’s Word. In the New Testament, Philippians 2:3 instructs Christians to do “nothing through envy or through pride, but low thoughts of self, let everyone take others to be better than himself.” There are also many other passages in Scripture about giving to and caring about the needs of others.

So, it’s safe to say that selfishness is something that we should all avoid becoming and exhibiting.

However, people aren’t the only creatures on Earth who can sometimes be a tad selfish. As one cute and hysterical video shows, even man’s best friend can occasionally be self-centered and selfish.

In the clip, a large, full-grown dog has a hold of what we can assume to be its bed. Near the bed is a small, black-and-white colored puppy. The puppy desperately wants to relax and hang out in the warm, soft, cozy dog bed. However, the large dog with the bed in its mouth refuses to share it with the playful and energetic pup.

In the opening moments of the minute-long video, the puppy hops into the bed and soon gets taken on a wild ride. The large canine continually swings and drags the bed back and forth, apparently to remove the little guy.

Eventually, the large canine successfully removes the puppy from its bed. But the puppy is determined and keeps coming back repeatedly.

As the popular saying goes, sharing is caring, but the full-grown dog was not in the sharing or caring mood at the time.

The Lord has blessed most of us abundantly when it comes to food. In fact, many of us overeat and could stand to lose some weight. Additionally, most of the population gets too little exercise, and so you’ve got a problem.

Anyway, when it comes to food, everyone has their guilty pleasure. You know precisely what I’m talking about. It’s that food item you know is not good for you, but you can’t help but continue to consume it whenever the opportunity presents itself. For a lot of people, that would be ice cream. Some choose to indulge in a slice of cheesecake occasionally.

However, for others, cookies are the go-to snack and not just any cookie. Regarding store-bought cookies, Oreos are far and away the most popular. According to the old commercial, it’s even milk’s favorite cookie.

A cute clip posted on YouTube shows how two dogs and a baby worked together to try and make off with some of those delicious chocolate and crème-filled treats. The funny skit begins with the two dogs on high surveilling the situation. When their owner returns, the canines realize she has the treats in her possession.

Sensing a possible opening, the dogs race downstairs in a desperate attempt to get ahold of the cookies. At that time, the baby recognizes the two canines have their sights set on possessing the cookies. With a quick look and a recognition of the two dogs, the precious little girl signals that she is in and will help her two canine friends. Throughout the short video, she keeps her eyes on the two dogs.

Things nearly work out for the animals until someone unexpectedly steps in and ruins the plan at the very last moment!

Animals are some of the most fascinating creatures you’ll ever encounter on Earth. Whenever you think you have figured them out and know how they will react in a particular environment or setting, they find a way to surprise you. It’s obvious why there are so many cat and dog videos on YouTube and a couple of television channels dedicated to showcasing animals and their antics.

Cats are some of the strangest and most quirky of the furry and four-legged beings. Not only are they hilarious, each possessing its own unique personality, but most are incredibly stubborn. They will do what they want when they want and how they want. No encouragement or prodding from you will get a cat to do something against its will.

A cute and hilarious video perfectly captures a cat’s stubborn and insistent nature. The short clip begins with a young woman petting and rubbing a cat while sitting at her computer. After a few moments, the woman stops showing the feline affection and starts working diligently on her computer.

Well, the cat decides that it has not had enough. Almost as a way to get the young lady’s attention, the cat climbs onto her shoulder and moves to her back, standing on her back and resting and leaning onto the woman’s head.

Except for one or two short and quick outbursts, the young woman is not fazed by the cat resting on her head. She goes about her work as if there were no feline hanging out on her head.

It’s a good thing she appears so comfortable with a cat on her head because the feline appears to have no intention of moving anytime soon. The odds are that if she had removed the cat, it would have returned to her head in a matter of minutes.

This is more than an unlikely friendship. A huge Doberman is introduced to a brand new kitten who has been brought into their home. Instead of chasing and barking at the cat, this dog does something adorable and unexpected. He begins to sniff around her with interest. The kitten climbs, and the Doberman casually rests next to her on the couch with his big eyes.

He is then seen peeking up at her on the top of her cat home. The Doberman gets near the kitten while she is playing with her toy on the ball, and the two have a moment to play with each other. The dog looks almost as if he is smiling after the entire encounter. He is well pleased with this new playmate and companion. The baby cat is so small and young. Watching the connection that this huge dog has with this little kitten is incredible. We are in pure amazement that these two unexpected animals would interact in such a loving and friendly way during an introduction. In many cases, this would never be happening because the two would be enemies.

We can learn many life lessons from this Doberman and kitten. One very obvious lesson is to love and welcome people who are different. As Christ-followers, we should live by His example of loving and presenting the gospel to all types of people. He did not hold back His pursuit of those who were from another group or culture. Jesus loved well, and this Doberman and kitten remind us to do the same.

“The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” Matthew 11:19

Eoywn is an adorable corgi who taught herself sign language. And it is amazing to see her understand her owner when he signs words to her like “dinner” or “ball.” These are some of her favorite words and it is clear to see when the dog starts to act all excited.

“My wife is deaf and when she moved in here with myself and my corgi here, Eoywn, it was quick that Eoywn learned that she’s deaf and started picking up on all the signs that we use at home,” shares the dog’s owner. “At first, I thought that was going to be amazing, but the problem is that this corgi is very, very smart and started to learn the signs for all of the fun words that she likes.”

Whenever Eoywn sees words that she likes being signed, she gets all excited and happy. It is very cute to see!

“It’s completely unintended. I would never teach my dog the secret sign for dinner. That’s torture,” says Eoywn’s owner. “It was completely accidental. She’s just constantly staring. Any time we’re talking, and we’re signing, she’s just completely in the zone, focused.”

The videos that have been shared online about Eoywn have had a positive effect on people.

“It’s inspired a lot of people to learn sign language, which has been incredible,” shares Eoywn’s owner. “When Emily and I started all of our social media, we always had this kind of like background goal of trying to make deaf people seem less scary and inaccessible. So it’s been really cool seeing people just react so warmly and have this understanding.”

In addition to their loving and loyal nature, felines and canines can be noisy little beings. Cats especially enjoy going to and checking out places they know they would do much better to avoid. However, there are still some places that a cat, no matter how determined, cannot investigate. If that is the case, it’s likely because it isn’t physically able to reach it. A clip posted on social media shows the wholly unexpected and sweet way a gorilla responded when it encountered an infant. In the 22-second video, someone holds a newborn up to the gorilla enclosure while the massive animal, from behind the thick plastic barrier, sits and stares at the baby.

Animals are some of the most fascinating and unique creatures on Earth. Their weird, cute and often hilarious antics are always worth a watch. When an animal is involved, even a domesticated one like a dog or a cat, always expect the unexpected. When you think you’ve figured out how an animal will react to certain people or in a specific environment, they’ll find somewhere to surprise you.

Everyone loves animals. Even if they don’t have a cat, dog, a rabbit or some other furry, four-legged creature at home, they likely still possess a soft spot in their heart for them. How could you not love animals?

Despite most people's love and appreciation for animals, a fair amount of people will avoid wild animals. It makes sense. We can never know how a feral animal like a raccoon might react to humans. At that point, it’s also about protecting ourselves from potential harm.

However, one person, a Dunkin’ employee, showed absolutely no fear when encountering a raccoon. A short video posted on social media caught the precious interaction between the two. The video, captured by someone waiting in the drive-thru at the popular donut and coffee establishment, shows the raccoon cautiously approaching the window. The people in the car cannot believe their eyes.

The cute raccoon continues to walk toward the drive-thru window and eventually stops, sits up and stares into the window. The animal is practically begging for a sweet breakfast treat.

Seconds later, a woman leans out the window with a donut in hand. She reaches out and down onto the pavement until her hand is inches from the wild animal. The raccoon reaches up, snags the donut from the employee’s hand and immediately starts enjoying its breakfast.

What a sweet and precious interaction!  However, the animal did scurry away before paying for the donut.

In a heartwarming display of canine camaraderie, a dog helps his buddy master leap over a barrier in this adorable video you don't want to miss. In a tale full of dachshund mixes, a young pup learns new tricks and is melting hearts online as he helps his hesitant buddy master the art of leaping over a plastic barrier. With a determined expression, he clears the barrier, landing on the other side amidst cheers. The triumph is palpable as tails wag to celebrate this small but significant achievement.

A kind fisherman came to the aid and rescue of a baby deer in the water.

Animals are precious and fascinating creatures put on Earth by the same God who formed humans and set the sun, moon and stars in position. Knowing this, it’s clear that animals hold a special place in the Lord’s heart. Because of that, they deserve love, care, kindness and respect.

That means that whenever we spot an animal in distress, we should do what we can to help solve and alleviate the problem. Seeing an animal in pain or struggling is one of the most heartbreaking scenes you’ll ever encounter. That is likely the reason why one man went out of his way to help a cute, defenseless animal who found itself in a horrible, potentially life-threatening situation.

The short, nearly two-minute clip begins with a fisherman out on the lake in a boat. The boat is heading for land, but from a comment the fisherman makes only moments into the clip, it’s obvious they are not docking.

“We’re going to get her, I promise,” the young man standing at the end of the boat says.

About ten seconds into the clip, viewers get their first glimpse of the baby deer. It’s stuck in the water and obviously frightened because of its current predicament.

The fisherman then leans out of the boat, extending just enough to grab and safely secure the trapped animal.

Immediately after the man picks up the baby deer, the wild animal starts wailing and continues to do so. Understanding that the deer is frightened, the man tries to comfort and soothe the animal.

“I know, I know,” the man says continually to the deer.

At one point, a second deer, likely the mother, starts to wade out into the water, wanting to come to the aid of her young.

Eventually, the man reaches land, gently places the baby deer on the ground and slowly walks away. As he does, he signals to the mother deer, who stands nearby watching the scene unfold, that she is good to check on her baby.

A massive reindeer displayed stunning athleticism, demonstrating its incredible and amazing soccer skills.

Athletes are gifted individuals whom many people, including many children, look up to and admire for what they can do on the court and field. Most perform these remarkable athletic feats, moving and contorting their bodies with such beauty and grace that it appears effortless. Many people can only sit and watch an athlete do something that most can only hope and dream about doing themselves.

Athletes constantly perform amazing feats, showing what the human body can do. While that is often the case, humans apparently aren’t the only creatures on Earth who have been blessed with athleticism. A clip posted on YouTube shows a reindeer demonstrating his quick-footed skills on the soccer field.

In the short 27-second video, the massive animal is joined on the playing field by a couple of his buddies while he kicks around a soccer ball. Surprisingly, the horned beast moves the ball back and forth rapidly while simultaneously showing off his nimble feet.

It’s a unique, breathtaking scene. The short video once again shows and reminds us of wildlife's impressive, genuinely majestic nature. When we think they’ve done everything possible, they find some new way to give us a laugh or a thrill.

Hilariously, the other two reindeer look on at the one with the ball. It’s almost as if they are waiting for him to include them in his game. They seem to be expecting to have the ball kicked in their direction, but unfortunately, that reindeer doesn’t appear interested in sharing his ball.

As good and experienced as the reindeer appears to be with the ball, no one wants to play with a ball hog. His two buddies probably won’t stick around long if they aren’t included in the fun.

You probably have never seen anything like this: a stunning brown, white, and black multicolored horse stands proudly next to his owner while strumming the guitar. She holds the guitar and plays the chords as the horse strums the strings with his mouth. It is truly entertaining. The precious cowgirl is dressed in a cowgirl hat and buttoned-down shirt. She smiles and giggles as her horse plays the strings passionately to the song.

You can tell that the horse has quite a personality and is very fun. She is named Yupia. The caption comically reads, “Yupia is getting better at guitar and would like to sign up for more lessons. For a donation of even $1, you can make a difference in this pony’s career!” Watching Yupia reminds us that anything is possible, God has a sense of humor, and mankind is still having dominion over the animals. Incredibly, this girl can train a horse to strum a guitar. The creativity is amazing. Many people would never even think of doing this type of activity. Watching this horse leads us to joy and laughter. There is really nothing quite like it out there. 

What skill could you be cultivating? Is there something outside of the box that Yupia inspires you to try out? Never allow fear of failure to prevent you from trying something new. God might have already equipped you with the dream to accomplish something for His glory. Scripture tells us many verses about horses. Viewing horses reminds us of our own Savior, Jesus, who will one day return on a white horse. As we watch Yupia, the guitar-playing horse, may we be reminded that God works in amazing ways and He is the Creator of all things.

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.” Revelation 19:11-12

In a beary hilarious viral video, a massive bear was caught relaxing in a hot tub, taking a much-needed break from his wild adventures. Who knew bears felt the need for a little rest and relaxation? The owner of the hot tub was in for a grizzly surprise when she discovered the furry guest soaking his cares away. After the initial shock wore off, she quickly grabbed her camera to capture some awesome footage.

The video captures the bear in the midst of his spa day, indulging in a leisurely soak. He luxuriously stretched out his feet, even taking a moment to give his chin a good scrub. The sight of a bear enjoying such a leisurely soak is truly delightful! It was as if he had all the time in the world, basking in the warm, bubbly water.

In an attempt to end the bear's spa-like moment, the owner resorted to tapping on the glass door. But did the bear flinch? Not a chance! He continued his soak, completely unfazed by the owner’s efforts to interrupt his relaxation. Clearly, this bear was in no hurry to leave his newfound oasis.

Eventually, the bear decided he had enough and got out of the hot tub. The owner was once again shocked, this time by the sheer size of the massive bear, as he stretched and ambled off to do more bear things. The bear's departure was as casual as his arrival, leaving the owner with an unforgettable experience and some un-bear-lievable footage to share.

This beary amusing incident reminds us that even bears need a little downtime. Whether it's prowling through the woods or soaking in a hot tub, bears certainly know how to make the most of their time. So next time you find yourself needing a break, take a cue from our furry friend and find your own little slice of relaxation—just maybe not in someone else's hot tub!

The sweet and unlikely friendship between a cat and a sheep will undoubtedly melt your heart.

Animals are some of the most fascinating creatures on Earth. You can never know precisely how they will react in any given situation. They all have unique personalities, likes, dislikes and preferences. So, attempting to predict how one is likely to respond to something or someone is a fool’s errand. You’ll probably end up being wrong. 

It's that unpredictability that makes animals so fascinating to watch. Entire television networks featuring programming on animals and their unique and quirky habits exist for that very reason. Who doesn’t want to see how a cat or dog will react when in a place or with someone that’s not their typical environment?  

Everyone is the correct, and really, the only response.

A clip posted on YouTube documents a few moments in the unlikely friendship of a sheep and cat, and it’s likely to be one of the cutest videos you’ll see this week!

In the short one-minute video, the two pals walk side-by-side toward the camera. Once they both come to a complete stop, the cat ducks underneath the sheep’s chin and begins rubbing itself on the barnyard animal.

Moments later, the cat starts showing the sheep even more affection. It starts to lick on the sheep, and the sheep welcomes the attention, almost turning into the cat to let it continue licking its face.

Moments before the sweet clip ends, the cat lays on the floor as if it’s about to play with the sheep. The sheep, seemingly understanding the cat’s move, leans into the cat, signaling that it is also ready to play.

It’s a sweet video of two animals most people would think would never be buddies.

The next and only question remains: who keeps a sheep in their house?
