The Grafting,' the title track from John Schlitt's 3rd solo CD "The Grafting," recorded in 2008 with the video filmed in 2011. The Grafting tells the story of a little adopted baby - and the meeting with his birth mother many years later. The video features a full cast of characters, live action - and John Schlitt, of course!

Hey Chris, if you'd be interested in covering my song "Be My Roof" feel free to contact me. [email protected] Written/performed by Dave Ihde. Inspired by pastor Tom's message. The words came in a flood, the melody on the way home from church. BE MY ROOF wrote itself in about 20 minutes. I like to say I wrote it down, but didn't neccesarily write it.
Around the internet there are things people like, and there are things people hate. Usually those who like what everyone else hates will say something like "Haters gonna hate". Jesus was like that on the Earth. He came and His own didn't receive him (John 1::11) The world may hate Jesus, but He loved them(us) ANYWAY and gave His life so we could be saved. You can't do that on your own. You NEED Him. Just think about it...

As happens in recording sometimes you wind up not doing a song the way you envisioned it: it is good but you realize that not only is it not the way you originally structured it but it is in the wrong key for you to sing it, so you wind up letting someone else sing it, Bill did a very good job singing and playing guitar on this song, soon I want to record this where I can sing it and give it the original "punch"
