This is one of the best songs in the series, but also one of the first I tried my hand at making. The quality therefore left much to be desired. I trust my viewers will find this one an improvement.

Next song: "Show Us!" The English translation is co-ordinated with the Norwegian original so those who wish to try out the musical for themselves can have an idea of how it would sound. However, a musical from thirty years ago needs to be treated as raw material, not a forever fossilized memory.

Where Are All Your Bold Disciples?

The original youtube "show us" was among my first attempts at making videos, so it naturally had some of the weaknesses you would expect. I also was not so good at the rules of the game of copyright material, so it was time to make a better one.

Ballad of the Via Dolorosa - Musical - part 1 & 2

English Text at :
https://docs.google.com/View?id=dhmwthc_0c78pv3gc
This musical version of the Passion of Christ was written and revised from about 1974 through 1976 by John Steffensen, leader of the Ten-Sing choir Sanctus, from Åsane, Bergen, Norway.
The musical was first performed in autumn 1975 for an audience about and later for about 5000 at a KFUM gathering in Skien. Since then it has been performed fairly regularly in different parts of the country by different groups. The English translation, however, has to our knowledge only been performed once: by Leikanger Ten-Sing on a tour to Germany in 1984.
The idea of these video-sequences is to function as a kind of demo of the Ten-Sing musical "The Ballad of the Via Dolorosa" texted so the viewer can get some idea of how it would sound in English.A production from 1975 can't be simply reproduced nowadays without adaptation, but it will be worth the effort for those who wish to try.

Awesome Lord of Glory - Herlighetens Herre

Anyone wanting to try out this song can find the notes at:
https://www.kfbergen.no/media/com_podcastmanager/Lovsang/Lord_of_glory.pdf
this link also includes the translation approved by Kjersti herself after revisions of drafts by myself and Marilyn Allen.
The same place https://www.kfbergen.no/index.php/ressurser/lovsang-tekster-lydfiler
also gives access to an Mp3 of the official version.
Some of the reasons for differences in the versions is due to my having to write the lyrics to the music from memory of the melody being sung in the worship service. This led to some small alterations in the way the song needed to be sung. I revised it using a track on a CD issued by Vegard Schow in collaboration with various worship teams in Bergen which was slightly different in emphasis and style from the one preferred by Kjersti herself.
You can find a reference to this CD at

And more at: https://www.sammenilovsang.no
It has many good tracks.
For my part, I am a lyricist, not a musician so I wish to share the original lyrics, and the meanings contained in them.

VOTA- Love Found Me Lyrics

I had the chance to meet the band VOTA a couple weeks ago, they have such a heart for for the Lord. I told them I would write an article about them on my blog website at https://iceberg365ministries.gfministries.org/. I was rather disappointed to find that the internet had no lyric videos that did this song justice. So I decided to make my own video. Hope you enjoy it, I spent a long time on it. It was a lot of fun too. Let me know what you think and thanks for watching!
