The Barones serve up laughter in this classic “Everybody Loves Raymond” Thanksgiving. A word of caution: do not take a bite of turkey or stuffing before watching this hysterical clip. We don’t need anyone choking. Watch this short but hilarious video of a Thanksgiving dinner at the Barone household.
Holidays are fantastic and joyous occasions, where we have the opportunity to join together with family and friends, catch up with one another and enjoy a delicious, mouth-watering meal. That is especially true at Thanksgiving, as we gather to eat a smorgasbord of some of the most delectable, appetizing dishes while praising and thanking the Lord for the many ways He has blessed us throughout the year.
However, while Thanksgiving is an occasion to be with family, eat entirely too much food and possibly watch some football; it can also be a stressful situation. People do not always get along, and sometimes there are personality clashes, which can raise blood pressure and the tension in the room. A hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny video posted on YouTube shows this to be the case.
The clip is a segment from the beloved television show “Everybody Loves Raymond.” It begins with Ray and Debra on the couch discussing what she should make for their family’s Thanksgiving dinner. As per usual, Ray is not much help and even insults his wife’s lack of cooking ability in the process.
We then see the Barone family – Ray, Debra, Marie, Frank, Robert and Amy – enjoying Thanksgiving dinner together. Things seem OK, or about as good as they can be for Thanksgiving dinner at the Barone house. Of course, everything quickly takes a dramatic turn after dinner.
Debra and Marie, who are constantly at each other’s throats in the show, continue their passive-aggressive feud. Marie, once again, insults Debra’s cooking and cleaning, and does so with a smile on her face.
“Debra, I don’t know why your rolls are all left,” Marie said. “I liked them. The burnt part gave them some flavor. Oh, and don’t worry about those pots and pans, honey. I know how to do those.”
“Oh, well, cleaning is cleaning,” Debra responds.
“You’d think so,” Marie answers back.
“Everybody Loves Raymond” is a show that, no matter how many times you’ve seen an episode, it still manages to get you laughing out loud.
