The Barones Serve Up Laughter in This Classic ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Thanksgiving

The Barones serve up laughter in this classic “Everybody Loves Raymond” Thanksgiving. A word of caution: do not take a bite of turkey or stuffing before watching this hysterical clip. We don’t need anyone choking. Watch this short but hilarious video of a Thanksgiving dinner at the Barone household.

Holidays are fantastic and joyous occasions, where we have the opportunity to join together with family and friends, catch up with one another and enjoy a delicious, mouth-watering meal. That is especially true at Thanksgiving, as we gather to eat a smorgasbord of some of the most delectable, appetizing dishes while praising and thanking the Lord for the many ways He has blessed us throughout the year.

However, while Thanksgiving is an occasion to be with family, eat entirely too much food and possibly watch some football; it can also be a stressful situation. People do not always get along, and sometimes there are personality clashes, which can raise blood pressure and the tension in the room. A hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny video posted on YouTube shows this to be the case.

The clip is a segment from the beloved television show “Everybody Loves Raymond.” It begins with Ray and Debra on the couch discussing what she should make for their family’s Thanksgiving dinner. As per usual, Ray is not much help and even insults his wife’s lack of cooking ability in the process.

We then see the Barone family – Ray, Debra, Marie, Frank, Robert and Amy – enjoying Thanksgiving dinner together. Things seem OK, or about as good as they can be for Thanksgiving dinner at the Barone house. Of course, everything quickly takes a dramatic turn after dinner.

Debra and Marie, who are constantly at each other’s throats in the show, continue their passive-aggressive feud. Marie, once again, insults Debra’s cooking and cleaning, and does so with a smile on her face.

“Debra, I don’t know why your rolls are all left,” Marie said. “I liked them. The burnt part gave them some flavor. Oh, and don’t worry about those pots and pans, honey. I know how to do those.”

“Oh, well, cleaning is cleaning,” Debra responds.

“You’d think so,” Marie answers back.

“Everybody Loves Raymond” is a show that, no matter how many times you’ve seen an episode, it still manages to get you laughing out loud.

Sweet Disney Christmas Short Film Tugs at Your Heartstrings

This sweet Disney Christmas short film tugs at your heartstrings. Be sure to have a box of tissues nearby while watching this adorable little movie. You’ll more than likely need them to dry your eyes. Watch the short yet charming film about friendship, set at Christmastime.

Most people, if they are honest, would confess to shedding a tear or two while watching a movie. When it comes to movies that work on the emotions and bring people to tears, there is no one better at that than Disney. They have been doing it for decades, creating unforgettable films and lovable, memorable characters.

Many could likely easily rattle off a handful of movies that, if watched again, would make their eyes water.  “Up,” “Toy Story 3,” “Dumbo,” “Wall-E” and “Old Yeller” are just a few of the many classic Disney films that are likely to have tears streaming down your face. It’s because we identify and connect with those characters, and don’t want to see them hurt or suffer, even if they are still only animated characters on the screen.

Disney has done it again, creating a film that is likely to make many reach for the tissues to dry their eyes that have involuntarily sprung a leak. In a clip posted on YouTube, Disney has released a new short film, “Best Christmas Ever.”

The clip begins with a young woman on Christmas Eve creating a list, writing a letter to Santa Claus. In addition to asking the man in the red suit for a couple of things, she decorates her letter with an odd, multi-colored creature. She places her letter on the mantle and heads off to bed, not thinking anymore of it.

Then, on Christmas morning, one of the boxes starts moving, with its contents literally spilling out. The character the little girl created has come to life. The two quickly become fast friends, spending nearly every waking minute together, but something is missing.

The little girl senses something is wrong and that her friend is unhappy. So, out of the kindness and love in her heart, she finds the most adorable and precious solution.

Proverbs 18:24 “A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

The Rich Man and Lazarus - Animated Bible Story - Heath Bewley

This is an animation of The Rich Man and Lazarus (an animated Bible story), with subtitles. There is a rich man, living in luxury every day, and meanwhile, a poor man called Lazarus. The rich man ignores the poor man. The poor man dies, and goes to Heaven, while the rich man goes to Hell. The story can be found in Luke 16:19-31. It is a parable taught by Jesus Christ.

The Persistent Widow - Animated Bible Story - Heath Bewley

"The Persistent Widow" is a parable by Jesus that is about a widow who comes to a judge and asks him to get justice for her. He does nothing for a while, but has a change of heart, because she perseveres. The parable is about perseverant prayer to God. If God's people persevere in prayer, and their prayer is sincere, and in line with God's will, he will do what they ask.

Filmmakers Reveal Their Goal and Purpose for ‘Light of The World’

The filmmakers behind "The Light of The World" have revealed their goal and purpose for their upcoming film. Those responsible for the animated film about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ sat down and discussed what motivated them to create the movie. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear why they needed to produce "Light of The World."

For every film produced, there must be (or should be) a reason for it to exist. Filmmakers, with their final product, are typically trying to convey a message and get a point across to their intended audience. A film, a book or even a television show that isn't trying to express a specific message or idea is often unreadable and unwatchable, some of the worst you'll encounter.

Filmmakers without a driving, unifying force or idea behind their work will likely fail. Something must motivate them to keep going during those hardships and difficulties that often come when making a movie. The "Light of The World" filmmakers shared what motivated them to make the animated film and what they hope to achieve with this project.

"This film should already exist, and it didn't," Brennan McPherson, "Light of The World" producer, said. "And so, we felt that it was a calling on our lives to make it happen. God's blessed it and has made it happen. It's an extremely powerful tool to share the gospel with the world."

Matt McPherson, an executive producer of "Light of the World," mentioned that he heard God's voice tell him that he would eventually make a film about Jesus. From that point, Matt said doors started opening to make that possible.

While they all want everyone to enjoy "Light of The World," they hope those who view the film don't simply watch it and forget its message. They want those who watch it to become closer to Christ and grow in their faith.

"We're really focused on not only leading people to Christ, but to disciple them and encourage them to get involved in a local church," Matt said.

Colossians 2:6 "As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk you in him:"

Disney Reimagines ‘Lilo and Stitch’ for a Live-Action Adventure

Disney has reimagined “Lilo & Stitch” for a live-action adventure. The beloved animated film has gotten a makeover, with a live-action version making its way to theaters. Watch the short clip to get a look at the new, updated version of the classic Disney film.

Hollywood is constantly looking for material to turn into films. They’ve got to keep new products coming if they want audiences to continue flocking to the theaters. Bestselling books are and likely always will be popular items that get the big screen treatment. In fact, many times, the film is already in the works even before the book hits the shelves.

Of course, sequels to financially successful films are a no-brainer for Hollywood. If it works one time, it will be done again and again until people quit showing up to purchase tickets. When that stops working, the film industry turns to remakes, and those have become quite popular, with Disney remaking and turning a handful of its animated films into live-action films.

The latest Disney classic animated film to get the live-action treatment is Disney’s 2002 movie “Lilo & Stitch.” Fans of the original cartoon flick will remember that Lilo is a young Hawaiian girl who badly wants a friend. As luck would have it, she soon finds a buddy in the form of Stitch, an alien, who finds his way to Earth. Hilariously, Lilo tries to pass the being from outer space as a dog.

The live-action version features the characters we all know and love and tons of laughs, heart and love. This is sure to be a film that the entire family will enjoy. The film opens on May 23 and hits theaters just before Memorial Day.

“Lilo & Stitch” is rated PG for “action, peril and thematic elements,” according to IMDB.

‘Fiddler on the Roof’ Family Shares a Moving Prayer Around the Table

The family in “Fiddler on the Roof” gathers for a moving prayer around the dinner table. Because “Fiddler on the Roof” is a beloved musical, the prayer is performed in a sing-song manner right before the family partakes in Sabbath dinner. Watch the short but moving clip to hear the powerful prayer.

Musicals continued to be one of the most popular forms of entertainment. Hundreds of thousands visit New York City annually to take in a Broadway play or two, many of which are musicals. Likely, right off the top of your head, you can name a handful of musicals. “Hamilton,” “Les Misérables,” “The Lion King,” “Cats” and “Wicked” are just a few of the many successful Broadway musicals that have legions of dedicated fans.

Another beloved Broadway musical is “Fiddler on the Roof,” which was later adapted into a 1971 Academy Award-winning film.  According to IMDB, “Fiddler on The Roof” is about a large, traditional Jewish family living in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century.

In the clip posted on YouTube, Tevye, the patriarch of the family, returns home and enthusiastically greets his loved ones as he introduces them to Perchik. As the introductions are made, the table is set for Sabbath dinner.

Around the 4:30-minute mark, the family gathers around the dinner table, but before they enjoy the food that has been prepared, they pray. Of course, with this being a musical, the prayer is done in song.

They ask for the Lord’s protection over the family, to guide them away from sin and shame and to have the family’s daughters emulate Ruth and Esther. The mother and father also ask the Lord to send their daughters caring and loving husbands.

The beautiful scene captures a loving family calling out to and asking the Lord for His guidance, protection and direction. It’s something that is rarely seen in modern films.

Mark 11:24 “For this reason I say to you, whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.”

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Has Officially Been Renewed For Season Three

‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ has officially been renewed for season three by Prime Video. This epic fantasy series is set in Middle-earth’s Second Age, which is thousands of years from when the 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings’ by J.R.R. Tolkien takes place. Fans have been waiting to hear the news of a 3rd season since the season finale of season 2 aired in October of last year.

Filming of the third season begins this spring with a new production home, Shepperton Studios, in the United Kingdom. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show will have a significant time jump in the third season. “Jumping forward several years from the events of season 2, season 3 takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war and conquer all Middle-earth at last,” they shared

Season 3 will have two returning directors and one new one. International Emmy Award nominee Charlotte Brandstrom and Sanaa Hamri will return as directors, and Stefan Schwartz will join them.

Although there haven’t been any casting updates about season 3 yet, it’s assumed that most of the cast will be back. This includes Charlie Vickers as Sauron, Ismael Cruz Cordova as Arondir, Morfydad Clark as Galadriel, and Robert Aramayo as Elrond.

The first season of ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ was Amazon Prime’s biggest TV premiere when it aired in 2022. Season 2 aired in 2024, and season 3 will most likely air in 2026, although a confirmed date hasn’t been released yet. Whenever it does, it will be an epic continuation of the story.

Cast And Crew Discuss Bringing 'Unsung Hero' Film To The Big Screen

Members of the cast and crew behind the film “Unsung Hero” discussed some of what it took and meant to bring the story to the big screen.

Every year, hundreds of films open and play in theaters. While that may sound like a large number and many viewing options at the cinema, it’s a drop in the bucket regarding the number of films produced and released each year.

Thanks to the popularity of streaming services, there are more viewing options now than ever. So, instead of going to the theater, some movies will go directly to Netflix, Hulu, or some other streaming platform. Additionally, after they are finished, other films may sit on the shelves for whatever reason and never see the light of day.

It stands to reason that the Hollywood films that go into theaters do so because they are expected to do well financially. Those deciding what film goes where believe a movie will be a hit, pleasing a specific demographic.

One of those films that is coming to theaters is “Unsung Hero.” It’s a film based on the unbelievable true story of the early struggles of the Smallbone family. It includes famous Christian musicians Rebecca St. James and her brothers, Joel and Luke, who are the duo for King & Country.

In a video posted on YouTube, members of the cast and the people behind the scenes talk about what the film’s story of faith and reliance upon God during troubling situations means to them. After watching the movie, they also talk about what they want to come away with.

“Having heard the music, having watched the scenes, I think people are going to take away hope from this film,” Candace Cameron Bure said, who has a role in the movie.

Rated PG, “Unsung Hero” hits theaters on April 26.

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
