If we are unaware of His presence, for whatever reason, we assume that He is nowhere to be found. If you have this mindset, get rid of it! You simply cannot develop a close relationship with the Lord if you think that you can be separated from Him. You can lose sight of Him, but He will still be where He has always been—right where you are. You can't, however, experience that reality if you're trying to experience His presence with your physical senses.
