Watch the New Trailer For ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’

The new trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” has been released. Much like the first animated Mario film, this one also promises to be a good time for the entire family. Watch the short trailer to get a look at the upcoming animated movie.

Hollywood is constantly looking for material that can be turned into movies. Not only are they always on the hunt for possible film ideas, but they want material that already has a built-in audience - people familiar with it, and who are likely to run to the theater when the film opens.

Why do you think that as soon as a book hits the best-seller lists or becomes uber popular, a film based on the book is never far behind? While the written have consistently been, and likely always will be, a place Hollywood looks to for its movies, they have begun to expand into other areas as well. For instance, video games offer a wealth of material waiting to be brought to the big screen, including arguably the two most beloved video game characters ever: Mario and Luigi.

After the smash hit that was 2023’s “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” you knew a follow-up was going to be coming. It was only a matter of time before a sequel would be ready for the viewing public. Well, that time has finally arrived. The trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” has arrived and has been posted on YouTube.

The trailer begins with Mario and Luigi’s archnemesis, Bowser, creating works of art as the two Italian plumbers look on in amazement. It’s soon revealed that Bowser is now rather tiny, as he shows off his latest work of art. Luigi gives his approval, while Mario is a little less receptive to Bowser’s creation.

Later in the trailer, Bowser Jr. arrives on the scene and intends to free his father from captivity. Mario and Luigi, not being big fans of his stated plan, will stop at nothing to keep the evil Bowser right where he is.

Rated PG and opening in theaters on April 3, “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” sees the return of Chris Pratt, Charlie Day and Jack Black for this sequel.

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or in act, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving praise to God the Father through him.”

You’ll Want to See This First Look at the Upcoming ‘Toy Story 5’

You’ll want to see this first look at the upcoming “Toy Story 5.” Woody, Buzz, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog and the rest of the gang are back in this latest film in the beloved Toy Story franchise. Watch the short but thrilling clip to get a peek at “Toy Story 5.”

If something works once, why wouldn’t you continue repeating that process until it no longer does? That’s precisely what most people do. Why would you ever go away from a sure thing? The simple, easy and most obvious answer is that you would not.

It’s because of that mindset and thought process that Hollywood produces so many sequels and remakes. If people keep turning out to see the sequel to this and that or a remake of this and that, more films of a similar type will populate the box office. No one is going to sink money into movies that no one wants to see; Hollywood wants to see a return on their massive investment.

So, knowing all that, we have “Toy Story 5,” set to open in theaters on June 19. The film stars the characters we all know and love from the previous four movies. Also, like the four other films, this is sure to be a good time for the entire family.

In a clip posted on YouTube, viewers get a look at the upcoming sequel. While the characters in the short video say next to nothing, we still get a pretty good idea of what the story will be about from the visuals alone. Much like everyone else, the toys will be confronted by electronics and AI, which threatens to change playtime as they know it. They will have to adapt to their changing world.

In the video, a mysterious box arrives at their home, and all of the characters look upon it in utter horror, fearing what might be in the container. When the contents of the box are finally revealed, it’s worse than any of them had imagined.

“Toy Story 5” features an all-star cast, including the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and Conan O’Brien.

From Wilderness to Worship: The Heart Behind the Film David

Long before David ever stood before a giant, he stood before God with a song in his heart. That truth is at the center of David, a new animated musical film shaped by faith, perseverance, and worship. In a heartfelt conversation with GodTube’s own Janna Bailey, David director and producer Phil Cunningham shared how this story has been decades in the making and deeply personal to his walk with God.

Phil explained that music is not just part of the film, it is the very heartbeat of it. Scripture tells us David wrote many of the Psalms, pouring out joy, fear, sorrow, and praise with raw honesty. That is why the soundtrack was released first, inviting audiences to feel the spirit of the story before ever seeing a single frame.

Phil’s journey with David began far from Hollywood, while canoeing down the Zambezi River in Africa. Surrounded by creation, he encountered God in a powerful way and was drawn to the words describing David as “a man after God’s own heart.” In that sacred moment, a calling was planted, one that would take years of patience, wilderness seasons, and trust to fulfill.

"For me, that's when I fell in love with God," Phil said.

As he shared with Janna, the film was shaped by community and perseverance. Hundreds of artists across the world came together, walking through setbacks and long seasons of waiting, much like David himself. Phil believes those wilderness moments were not wasted, but necessary.

"It was a community; it was a team that actually managed to get us there," Phil said. "Not one hero, but a group of people who really believed in the vision of the Arc de Triomphe and kept encouraging each other to get there. And mostly, I would say, God is the hero of the story. He carried us when, I think, we were ready to give up. Yeah, there were definitely moments like that, for sure.

At its core, David is an invitation. You do not have to be perfect to walk with God. You can bring Him your fear, your questions, and your praise. Like David, you are invited to live wholeheartedly, trusting the Good Shepherd who walks with you through every battle and every song.

In the film, David, as an adult, is voiced by Christian music superstar Phil Wickham. In the interview, Phil explains why the musician was the perfect person to voice this legendary biblical character in the film.

"We didn't select him because of marketing," Phil said. "We selected him because we found out so many singers actually can't act. But Phil can sing, obviously,  but he's also a great actor. And then, on top of that, he really brings this beautiful energy and humility and spirit of invention, which is what we really wanted to come out of the David character. So, he was like just a perfect fit, almost like he is a modern-day David. And his work ethic is incredible."

The Story of David Comes to the Big Screen in New Animated Film

The story of David comes to the big screen in a brand-new animated film. “David” promises a fun-filled, good time for the entire family. Watch the short but awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping clip to get a quick look at the trailer for the film “David” about the legendary biblical character.

Throughout the Bible, we meet a slew of people who did extraordinary things, actions that are still discussed, debated, examined and studied today. Adam, Noah, Moses, Elijah, Paul, Samson, Matthew, John and Peter are just a few of the many we read about in God’s word.

God did miraculous things while using people as average as you and me. However, like us, those individuals were imperfect and flawed and experienced moments of weakness. Despite their failures and imperfections, God was still able to accomplish much through and with them.

Another person we read about in the Bible, who is a big part of the Old Testament, is David. David, a lonely shepherd boy, would become a legendary warrior after slaying Goliath with nothing more than stones and a sling, and was later named the king of Israel.  But he was also not without his failures and flaws.

The new animated film “David,” from Angel Studios, brings the story of the beloved biblical figure to the big screen. Audiences will watch in awe as the shepherd boy goes up against the massive Philistine giant and leads armies into battle. The film’s main character is voiced by none other than Grammy-nominated Christian contemporary musician Phil Wickham.

Rated PG for action/violence and some scary images, “David” arrives in theaters just in time for the Christmas season, opening on Dec. 19.  For more information on the movie, check dates and times and to purchase tickets to a showing, visit the film’s official website.

Amazon Prime Releases Trailer for Animated Faith Series ‘The Chosen Adventures’

Amazon Prime has released the trailer for its new animated faith series, “The Chosen Adventures.” The series will bring the life and teachings of Jesus Christ to animation. Watch the short but powerful trailer to get a look at the upcoming series headed to Amazon Prime Video, “The Chosen Adventures.”

As parents know and understand, most children have the attention span of a gnat. They have way too much energy for someone so small and must constantly move about. Sure, they may be entirely focused on and super into this or that, but five minutes later, they are off onto something else. They have already lost interest in and completely forgotten about that other subject or object that captivated them just moments ago.

Despite their short, very minimal attention spans, all children seem to be entirely captivated and enchanted by animation. Cartoons are the one thing that will cause youngsters to slow down and stay in the same spot for longer than five minutes at a time. So, if you were trying to reach and minister to children, it makes sense to put the life and teachings of Jesus Christ into animation. That is just what the creators of “The Chosen Adventures” series have done.

The series follows the energetic and mischievous 9-year-old Abby and her buddy Joshua, who encounter a man praying alone in the wilderness while they looking for fun and adventure. That man just so happens to be Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Following their encounter with the King of Kings, their lives will never be the same again.

Like many children, the trailer shows Abby, who is very inquisitive, asking questions on nearly every subject imaginable.

“You ask many questions,” Jesus says to Abby.

“And you answer all of them,” Abby responds.

The animated series, from the creators of the wildly popular show “The Chosen,” features Jonathan Roumie as the voice of Jesus. The series begins streaming on Amazon Prime on Oct. 17.

'Light of The World' Shares the Story of Jesus in Moving Animated Feature Film

"Light of The World" is a moving animated feature film about Jesus Christ. The film, which is meant to be enjoyed by the whole family, depicts Christ's life, words and miracles.  Watch the short, but powerful clip to get a quick look at the new, upcoming film "Light of The World."

This world is a lost, fallen and broken place, full of people who are hurting, struggling and looking for someone or something to alleviate their pain and suffering. Sadly, that has been the case ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate of the fruit in the garden, unleashing sin into the world.

While sin has utterly ruined our world, God made a way to bridge the gap, the divide that sin caused between Him and man. Jesus Christ, who willingly went to the cross, and suffered and died on the cross, was sent to Earth. He endured that brutal punishment and torture that we rightly deserved, giving us freedom from sin and the chance at eternal life.

“Light of the World" is a new animated film about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, unlike many similar films, this one is told through the eyes and from the perspective of John, the youngest of Christ's 12 Apostles. It's clear from the film's short trailer that, in addition to capturing all of Christ's many miracles, such as turning water into wine, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind and making the cripple walk, this film will be a good time, one that all will surely enjoy. There promises to be plenty of laughs and powerful, tear-jerking moments.

This film about Jesus Christ is aptly and correctly named because, as we all know, He is the light of the world in our dark world.

"Light of The World," Rated PG for "violent content and thematic material," hits theaters on Sept. 5

The Persistent Widow - Animated Bible Story - Heath Bewley

"The Persistent Widow" is a parable by Jesus that is about a widow who comes to a judge and asks him to get justice for her. He does nothing for a while, but has a change of heart, because she perseveres. The parable is about perseverant prayer to God. If God's people persevere in prayer, and their prayer is sincere, and in line with God's will, he will do what they ask.

Pixar’s ‘Elio’ Shaping Up to Be a Must-See Family Adventure

Pixar and Disney’s “Elio” is shaping up to be a must-see family adventure. The upcoming animated film will likely be one the entire family can enjoy. Watch the short but entertaining trailer to get a look at the latest movie from Pixar and Walt Disney, “Elio.”

Everyone wants and needs a friend. Having friends makes life a fuller and richer experience. They are shoulders to cry on when life knocks you down and gets tough. Friends are also the people who celebrate with you when you’re on the mountaintop. Friends are blessings from the Lord Himself – yet another way He touches and impacts our lives. Who wouldn’t want someone to have fun with and talk to?

No matter your age or stage in life, everyone needs a friend. Anybody can be a friend, and one of the best things about friends is that they can and usually do arrive when we most need them. As the trailer for “Elio” shows, friends can even come in the form of aliens and when we’re visiting other planets.

Elio is a young man obsessed with outer space and convinced that aliens exist. He so strongly believes that aliens are real that in the trailer’s opening moments, he actively tries to be abducted by aliens.

However, it’s also revealed that Elio has had trouble making friends. He’s lonely and badly wants to fit in somewhere, and his aunt is overwhelmed by his most recent behavior, which includes skipping school.

As luck would have it, Elio’s wish for an alien abduction comes true. He’s slowly taken up in space and goes on to explore some truly out-of-this-world locations. During his travels in space, Elio meets Glordon, an alien creature who also has issues making friends.

Like many of Pixar’s flicks, this one looks like it will also pull at your heartstrings and make a good amount of the audience shed a tear or two.

“Eilo” lands in theaters this summer on June 20, 2025.

Disney Unveils Exciting Official Trailer for 'Moana 2'

The Walt Disney Company has unveiled the exciting official trailer for their upcoming film, "Moana 2."

If something isn't broken, do not fix it, as the old saying goes. That makes sense. Why would we ever change anything if it's working? Change is hard enough; if there is no reason to do it, don't.

That is the attitude that most of Hollywood has as well. Simply look at the types of movies that flood the theaters. They are all either sequels, superhero flicks or superhero movies that are also sequels. Those are the ones that consistently make the most at the box office, so it makes sense why Hollywood continues to produce them.

In keeping with that ongoing trend, Disney has released the trailer for "Moana 2." Of course, it's the follow-up film to 2016's smash hit "Moana." It was the film that made children everywhere fall in love with Maui, the character voiced by Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson.

In the second film, Moana sets out on another adventure after receiving a call from her ancestors. She ventures out to an ancient land that is supposedly cursed. Moana, wanting to finish what her ancestors started so long ago, hopes to break the curse and bring her people back together.

However, like in the first film, Moana needs help to complete her tall task. She will need some assistance. About halfway through the film's trailer, Maui makes his much-anticipated appearance.

From the looks of the trailer, this film will be just as funny and cute as the original. This will likely rake in the cash at the box office, with children and families enjoying this animated film from the Walt Disney Company.

"Moana 2" is rated PG and opens in theaters on Nov. 27.

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
