2. RFK Jr. Targets HHS Bureaucracy and Calls for Bold Reform

Kennedy made a point of getting rid of all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices back in June, and replaced them with new members, some of whom don't necessarily support vaccinations. He made a point of stating that he does not intend to make vaccines inaccessible to those who want them, according to WNG.

"The people at the CDC who oversaw [the COVID-19 mitigation] process, who put masks on our children, who closed our schools, are the people who will be leaving," Kennedy said during his opening remarks, picked up by Fox News. "That's why we need bold, competent, and creative new leadership at CDC. People who are able and willing to chart a new course."

"As my father once said, 'Progress is a nice word, but change is its motivator. And change has its enemies.'" The HHS secretary, who is also the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, added, "That's why we need new blood at CDC."

3. Americans No Longer Trust the CDC, RFK Jr. Claims

RFK claims that Americans have lost faith in the CDC and that they don't believe the CDC has the best interests of the American public in mind. America's lack of trust has been eroding over time as a result of bureaucracy and politicization of science over the decades. Kennedy points to the "irrational" and unsound response of the CDC during the COVID-19 scare.

"Cloth masks on toddlers, arbitrary 6-foot distancing, boosters for healthy children, prolonged school closings, economy-crushing lockdowns, and the suppression of low-cost therapeutics in favor of experimental and ineffective drugs," he told Fox News. "The toll was devastating."

He also noted that, "Only one-third of health care workers participated in the 2023-24 fall COVID booster program, and fewer than 10% of children under 12 received boosters in 2024-25. The American people no longer believe the CDC has their best interests at heart."

Another strike against the CDC, which fast-tracked the vaccines during the pandemic, is that in July, the Food and Drug Administration required updated language on all mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, warning the public of their potential danger. The warning states that those who take the shots could experience major heart issues, especially the triggering of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the sack-like tissue surrounding the heart) in young men between the ages of 12-24, according to WND.

The committee went to great lengths to grill RFK Jr. regarding actual COVID-19 deaths, but he rightly responded that there has been a great deal of inaccurate reporting regarding deaths that COVID-19 actually caused. An Energy and Commerce press release claims that the CDC has provided them with "inconsistent data" and errors in reporting. In addition, there are scientists who have admitted that there are errors in the World Health Organization's (WHO) estimates, according to Nature.

4. Pandemic Policies May Have Been Based on Faulty Science

Congressional Republicans demanded an investigation last year into the origins of COVID and the role ex-White House Coronavirus advisor Anthony Fauci may have played in helping to facilitate that, but there are quite a few complexities surrounding this 14-hour hearing. The hearing can be viewed here.

In summary, 17 Republican state attorneys general suspect that Fauci lied under oath during the investigation and that the policies many states implemented during the COVID scare were based on inaccurate, alleged science articulated by Fauci, according to TNND.

It's also believed that Fauci was granted a presidential pardon using an auto pen operated by White House staff during Biden's presidency.

"In July 2023, I referred Dr. Anthony Fauci to the Department of Justice for lying under oath to Congress. His own emails directly contradicted his sworn testimony," Dr. Rand Paul, also a Kentucky Senator, said in a Homeland Security Governmental Affairs press release. "The New York Times reports Fauci was quietly pardoned by an auto pen, operated by Biden's staff. If the President didn't authorize this pardon personally, then the Department has a duty to investigate and prosecute as it would any ordinary citizen. Fauci has been sainted by the extremist Left, but it doesn't erase his lying before Congress."

5. Florida Becomes a Model for Ending Vaccine Mandates

Florida officials have decided that Florida will lead the way in the U.S. regarding removing all vaccine mandates.

"Every last one of them is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery," Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo told The Hill

"Who am I to tell you what your child should put in their body? I don't have that right. Your body is a gift from God," Ladapo said.

Governor Ron DeSantis has decided that his wife, Casey DeSantis, will lead a commission regarding making Florida healthy again.

"I think that this is something that has great potential," Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) told The Hill. "We've already done a lot. I don't think there's any state that has done even close to what we've done."
