Busker Gives Beautiful, Captivating Performance of The Cranberries’ ‘Linger’

A busker turned in a beautiful, captivating performance of The Cranberries' "Linger." Her rendition of the beloved, classic tune from the '90s is one that you'll want to listen to repeatedly. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to and see the young woman perform "Linger."

Everyone believes that their era, when they were children, had the best music. Of course, while people will debate the music itself, it really does not have much to do with music at all. Instead, it has much more to do with the sentimental value and memories we attach to those tunes. That is the real reason why people defend their favorite era of music so vigorously.

Okay, some eras were objectively better than others in terms of the music produced during those years. The music of the 1960s and 1970s (minus the Disco songs) was clearly, far and away, better than that of the 1980s. The 80s gave us Flock of Seagulls, New Kids on the Block and Starship's "We Built This City." This, while the 60s and 70s provided us with Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Otis Redding's '(Sitting On) The Dock of the Bay."

While there is no contest between the 1970s and 80s as to which decade had the better music, some may consider the 1990s a terrific time for music fans. Others, though, may see it differently (Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and 98 Degrees—did we really need that many boy bands in the '90s?).

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young woman performs a tune from the '90s that has since become a classic, known and loved by nearly every music fan: The Cranberries' "Linger." She shows off her incredible musical gifts with her lovely performance. While she appeared and sounded nervous, she quickly settled in and got comfortable, turning in a tremendous cover of the tune.

Family Band’s Electrifying Rendition of ‘Born on the Bayou’

A family band turned in an electrifying rendition of the classic "Born on the Bayou." This family of gifted musicians wows with their stunning cover of the beloved Creedence Clearwater Revival tune. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to listen to their fantastic cover of CCR's "Born on the Bayou."

Musicians playing songs originally written, recorded and performed by other musicians is a practice that is here to stay, and will be for the foreseeable future. Covers have likely been going on since music first became a thing. And who doesn't enjoy a good cover now and then? There must be a lot of people who do because how else could you ever explain the abundance of cover bands? Somebody is listening to them.

While many people enjoy hearing covers, most will agree that they rarely top or even match the original. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but those instances are few and far between. There's something about being the first one in a line of imitations that makes the original that much better. That's not just true for music, but also for movies. How often is the first film better than the sequels or the remake? See what I mean?

Regardless of how much we appreciate the original, first version, the Clark Family continues to turn out fantastic, stupendous renditions of classic tunes. The talented musicians have done it once again with their cover of "Born on the Bayou." It's one that you'll want to listen to repeatedly.

Typically, their covers shine because of Dad, who can seemingly sing anything because of his versatile voice. This time, though, their cover of "Born on the Bayou" is noteworthy because of their musical skills and expertise from the children. There are long stretches in the song where there is no singing, when only the instruments are heard, and it's utterly delightful. The kids demonstrate their high skill level and don't miss a note the entire performance.

This Stunning Cover of LeAnn Rimes' ‘How Do I Live’ Will Give You Chills

This stunning cover of LeAnn Rimes' ‘How Do I Live’ will give you chills and send a positive tingle up your spine. The Sing It Live trio plays with talent and finesse as they perform the 1997 hit song. Play the video to hear the wonderful '90s throwback.

Sing It Live takes us right back to the 90s with this moving cover of “How Do I Live.” Nothing captures a desperate, devotion-filled love quote like this song. Some of the emotionally heavy lyrics are:

How do I get through one night without you
If I had to live without you
What kinda life would that be
Oh I, I need you in my arms, need you to hold

The female lead singer does an excellent job of covering the song in the same style as LeAnn Rimes. The instruments and backup vocals are also on par for the 90s song. Every line of the song carries aching vulnerability and sincerity. Just like LeAnn, you can tell that the singer does more than just vocalize the words—she feels them.

This cover is so relatable and heartfelt. It reminds us how dear the ones we love are. It gives life to the endearment, “You are my heartbeat.” Our loved ones mean so much that we truly do not know how we would live without them or what our lives would be like. There is also a strong sense of gratitude as we appreciate our loved ones and what they mean to us.

Watching the performance is like stepping into a raw feeling of anchoring love. It’s the kind of experience that only a good song like this can give. This lovely cover by Sing It Live proves that some songs never age, and that’s certainly the case for ‘How Do I Live.’

The Beatles’ ‘We Can Work It Out’ Gets Beautiful Cover from The Isaacs

The Beatles’ ‘We Can Work It Out’ gets a beautiful cover from The Isaacs in a new YouTube video. If you’ve never heard a Beatles song sung country, this is the cover you’ve got to see. Play the video to hear the wonderful cover.

When you hear this tune, you may not even recognize that it is actually a Beatles classic. It sounds so different and transformed from the rock band’s hit. The Isaacs’ ability to take any song and make it into a country tune is utterly remarkable. ‘We Can Work it Out’ sounds so beautiful and encouraging. Some of the positive lyrics are:

Think of what you're saying
You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright
Think of what I'm saying
We can work it out and get it straight or say good night

While the song sounds very different from the Beatles’, The Isaacs have still kept that positive, lively beat that the song has. The song choice is excellent—it’s full of positivity. There are many, many more breakup songs than there are songs about working through things together, so it’s a nice reminder that hope is not lost in relationships.

The lyrics “We can work it out and get it straight or say good night” actually point back to the Bible in a way. The scripture says in Ephesians 4:26, “Be you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down on your wrath.” In other words, “say good night” and make up before bedtime.

This song is a wonderful reminder that we should keep a positive outlook about relationships and consider others’ perspectives. And the Isaacs’ cover is great. The music group has truly brought life to a forgetten old song and given it a bright and lovely country twist

Life in 3D’s Cover of Disney Classic ‘Go The Distance’ Is Perfection

Life in 3D’s cover of Disney classic ‘Go The Distance’ is perfection. It sounds every bit of that theatrical, high-quality product that Disney is famous for. Watch the video to hear the famous song from Disney’s “Hercules.”

Life in 3D does a simply outstanding job. The group is made up of three talented siblings:  19-year-old Devon, 24-year-old Daylon, and their sister, 22-year-old Duara. Daylon begins the song with his baritone voice before his younger siblings harmonize with him. Each sibling has a unique tone and different pitch, and they complement each other incredibly well. Together, they sound amazing.

“We figured it was about time for another Disney song, one of our favorites!” the siblings said

They chose the song from Disney’s 1997 animated movie, “Hercules.” The song is about self-discovery, chasing your dreams, not giving up, and achieving accomplishments in the face of adversity. Some of the lyrics are:

I would go most anywhere to feel like I belong
I am on my way
I can go the distance
I don't care how far

These siblings don’t need a stage to shine. Simply singing, with or without instruments, they sound perfect. They sound like they’ve been harmonizing all their lives; they’re experts at it, without a doubt.

They made a great choice by choosing ‘Go The Distance’ to sing together. Each one of them has their own distinct strengths to offer, but it’s the beautiful blend of their combined voices that gives the cover that little magic touch. I can’t think of a better group of artists to cover a classic Disney song like this one.

“Do you not see that in a running competition all take part, but only one gets the reward? So let your minds be fixed on the reward.” 1 corinthians 9:24

Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ Gets a Smooth Jazz Makeover

Aerosmith's "Dream On" gets a lovely smooth jazz makeover. The classic tune, which many know and love, received a cover that took the song in a decidedly different direction. Watch the short but enjoyable clip to listen to this new take on Aerosmith's beloved and iconic song, "Dream On."

Covers are not going anywhere in the foreseeable future. No, I'm not talking about the long pieces of cloth that help to keep us warm at night. However, the same could also be said for them. No, I'm talking about musical covers, when a band or musician plays a tune originally written, recorded and performed by another musician or band.

Everyone enjoys a good cover now and then, right? Who doesn't want to hear another musician's interpretation of a well-known, beloved song? Sure, for the most part, the original will still be far and away better than the cover. But there are a few instances in which the cover is the better of the two. It's very rare, but it does happen.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians cover Aerosmith's "Dream On." But they don't just cover the song, turning out a carbon copy of the original. They take the song we all know and love in a very different direction. Instead of trying to mimic the original rock version supplied by Aerosmith (which would have been a completely useless and pointless exercise), they turn it into a smooth jazz number.

Yes, it's the same recognizable lyrics, beautifully and elegantly delivered, but accompanied by a jazzy sound. It's an outstanding rendition in which the musicians display their considerable musical talents. Even those who are the biggest, most fanatical Aerosmith fans will still appreciate this new and delightful cover.

This cover of Aerosmith's "Dream On" will have you singing along while you're tapping your toe. A fantastic cover!

Colossians 3:16  "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Busker’s Beautiful Cover of Beatles' Classic ‘Let It Be’

There’s something about music drifting through an open-air square that can pull you right out of your day and plant you in a moment you didn’t know you needed. This busker’s beautiful cover of the Beatles’ classic ‘Let It Be’ will make your day.

In the heart of Dublin’s bustling city center—where footsteps scatter like rain and conversations weave in the air—Kyla Belle stands with her dark brown guitar cradled close. Her long blond hair catches the Irish breeze, moving like the rhythm of the song she’s about to sing.

She begins to strum the familiar opening chords of one of our all-time favorite Beatles classics, Let It Be. And that’s when the world, for just a breath, seems to hush.

It’s not just the song, it’s the way Kyla sings it. Her sultry, whispery voice curls around the words with the kind of warmth that feels like it’s been steeped in heartache and hope. There’s a hint of Stevie Nicks in her tone, that smoky magic that makes you lean in closer, listen harder.

Anyone trying to carve their place in the music world knows the secret: take a song people love, and make it wholly your own. But the ones who really make you stop, those rare voices, they pour their soul into it.

That’s what Kyla does. She doesn’t belt it; she breathes it. Every note is a soft and stunning twist, reminding you that Let It Be is a prayer. A surrender. A comfort all in one song.

And in that busy Dublin square, surrounded by strangers who were just passing through, her music becomes a bridge. One that connects us—whether we’re locals, tourists, or just weary souls who need a reminder that beauty is still alive in the world.

Sometimes, all it takes to change a day is the right song, sung by the right voice, and at just the right moment. And when you hear Kyla sing, you can’t help but listen.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Street Performer Wows with Powerful ‘Don’t Stop Believin'

Check out this talented performer wowing people on the street with her beautiful cover of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey. The singer in the video is Sarah Fitzsimon, and she has such a wonderful and unique voice. She really made this popular song her own!

‘Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere’

What an outstanding performance! Sarah is performing this Journey hit in Dublin, Ireland, specifically on Grafton Street. This part of the city is well-known for its vibrant street busking scene. Buskers, including musicians, poets, and mime artists, perform for the crowds, contributing to the area's lively atmosphere. This type of entertainment is a long-standing tradition in Dublin.

And while Sarah Fitzsimon has people walking by her on Grafton Street, enjoying her musical performances, she also fans online who have shared how much they like her cover of ‘Don’t Stop Believin.’’

“The hair on the back of my neck stood up! I love her voice! Instant fan,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Brilliant performance by Sarah. I absolutely love her amazing voice,” writes another person online.

As for ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ by Journey, it was released in October 1981 as the second single from the group's seventh studio album titled Escape. It was co-written by the band's vocalist Steve Perry, guitarist Neal Schon, and keyboardist Jonathan Cain.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this fun cover of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ today!

Young Man Stuns with Powerful ‘My Heart Will Go On’ Rendition

A young man stunned with his powerful rendition of “My Heart Will Go On.” The little guy showed off his jaw-dropping voice as he belted out the Celine Dion classic. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to hear the young man beautifully perform “My Heart Will Go On.”

There are a lot of truly talented musicians today. If asked, we could easily rattle off an endless list of singers and bands who we believe to be musically gifted. Of course, there are bound to be some major and minor differences in opinion on those theoretical musical lists. Some people will believe this band or performer is terrific, while others may leave that particular singer or band off entirely.

Regardless of opinion on other singers and bands, there is little discussion about who some of the greatest singers of all time are. People like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Adele, Celine Dion and Aretha Franklin are in a class of their own. Their voices are so powerful, recognizable, unmistakable and incomparable. Very few people come along with musical gifts similar to those talented ladies. It’s nearly impossible to top those voices, so covering one of their songs is usually a fool’s errand.

In a clip posted on social media, a young man sings “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion. Surprisingly, the little guy nails it. He reaches for, hits and holds those impressively high notes. In a matter of seconds, the young singer demonstrates that he has been incredibly gifted with a beautiful voice.

It’s incredible what he can do at such a young age. However, the most impressive part is that he appears to be putting on such a magnificent performance without even realizing it. He does it so effortlessly and nonchalantly. Once he’s done singing, he goes about his day as if nothing has happened.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Woman's Dazzling AGT Dance Performance Wows

A woman’s dazzling America’s Got Talent dance performance wowed. Her awe-inspiring and mesmerizing routine had the entire studio audience up on their feet cheering and applauding. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to see the woman’s stunning America’s Got Talent audition.

Dance is one of the most challenging art forms to master. Some would argue, and rightfully so, that it is, in fact, the toughest to perfect. Dance incorporates so many different elements and techniques that someone would need to master all of them to become even a passable or marginal dancer.

When someone is able to pull off a dance routine correctly and flawlessly, it is one of the most beautiful sights imaginable. No one can possibly argue otherwise. The massive amount of timing, athleticism and skills, not to mention all the hard work and dedication that go into doing that, is astounding. In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man does exactly that during her audition for America’s Got Talent.

In a brief exchange with the judges, we learn that 18-year-old Alex Blanchard is from England and has traveled to the U.S. alone, hoping to impress the judges and the studio audience with her dance routine. With that short discussion complete, it’s time for Alex to get into her audition. Seconds into her routine, it’s clear this young woman is an incredibly talented dancer, and she has the entire studio audience on her side. They are on their feet cheering and applauding the 18-year-old dancer.

Alex’s routine incorporates dance and some high-flying and thoroughly impressive gymnastics moves. It was a routine unlike many others on the show. Everyone in the room, including the show’s four judges, enjoyed watching her perform.

When it came time for the judges to render their verdict, they complimented the young woman from England, mentioning how much they enjoyed what she did on stage. As expected, she received four yes votes.

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

Jamie MacDonald Wows with ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ Cover

Jamie MacDonald wows with ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ cover on YouTube. Her strong and powerful voice sounds like it's made for this song. Watch the video to hear the incredible piece of music!

As Jamie sings with musicians and backup singers, you can almost feel the energy hum through the performance. She brings that oomph and power that anyone familiar with the song knows it carries. The song was initially released in 1967 by soul singers Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and it's loved just as much today as it was all those years ago—if not even more. The song speaks of undying love for someone and offers reassurance that they’ve got someone they can depend on. It’s unwavering devotion that listeners have related to for generations. Some of the lyrics are:

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you, babe

Jamie Macdonald has a magnetic voice that can fill a room—no microphone needed. She’s truly gifted, and it’s wonderful to hear. She is perhaps best known for her song with TobyMac, ‘God Did It,’ and her humble song, ‘Desperate,’ but whether she’s singing Christian pop or a soulful classic like ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,’ it’s always a pleasure to hear her incredible voice.

This cover swells with passion and gives the classic song a new but very familiar life. The delivery is bold, and everyone is on time with the music. The backup singers shine and harmonize with Jamie perfectly, and it’s clear that there’s a contagious joy as the group performs.

With Jamie’s recent original music and covers like this one, the young artist is proving she’s got something to share—and listeners are eager and excited to receive it.

Buskers Turn Heads with Stunning Cover of CCR’s ‘Bad Moon Rising’

Some buskers turned heads with a stunning cover of CCR’s ‘Bad Moon Rising’ on Dublin’s city streets. They display loads of musical talent, so it’s easy to see why. Watch the video to hear their gifted cover.

The buskers, Francesco Parodi & Jose Fondon, each play an instrument as Francesco sings with raw passion. Jose plays the electric guitar, taking the spotlight at different moments with amazing-sounding, long-winded riffs, and Fransesco plays the acoustic guitar.

Francesco excellently applies his skillful voice to the song. He sounds a little gritty, but keeps his voice clear and strong throughout the rock song. Looking at the duo, you wouldn’t guess they’re about to cover a rock song—and do so well—but looks clearly deceive, because these guys absolutely know what they’re doing. As they play, many onlookers crowd around them. The talented guitar playing and Francesco’s vocals, which one fan describes as “gravel wrapped in silk,” seem to be a match made in heaven.

The song, originally sung by Creedence Clearwater Revival, has somewhat ominous lyrics that sound like warnings, but it also—almost contrastingly—has a happy beat that you can easily tap your foot to. Some of the lyrics are:

Well, don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
Don't go around tonight

The cover does the original track justice. The only significant difference is the lack of drums in Jose and Fransesco’s version, but the quality and sound are just as good, if not even better than the original band’s. It’s great to see that so many people stopped to appreciate their live street performance. The duo certainly deserved it and obviously spent some time perfecting the cover.

It’s safe to say that whether you’re a rock fan or just an eclectic music appreciator, you’ll love this performance!

Jimmy Fortune Delivers Soul-Stirring ‘Rock of Ages’ Rendition

Country singer Jimmy Fortune delivers a soul-stirring ‘Rock of Ages’ rendition in a new, slow, sweet, and tender cover. With an abundance of talent and a beautiful voice, a Jimmy Fortune performance is not one to miss. Watch the video to hear the wonderful sound.

In the video, listeners cheer on Jimmy, a former member of The Statler Brothers, as he begins to sing the incredible song. Backup singers and instrumental players accompany him as he sings, giving the song a country sound. He brings a new life and soul to the Christian hymn.

Some of the hymn’s impactful lyrics are:

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in thee;
let the water and the blood,
from thy wounded side which flowed.

The hymn was written in 1762 by Augustus Toplady. There are two rival accounts of how he got inspiration for the hymn. One of the accounts says he must have gotten inspiration for the hymn after reading Charles Wesley’s “Hymns on the Lord’s Supper,” which contains a song with a similar theme to Toplady’s. Another account says Toplady wrote it after he took refuge in the Burrington Combe gorge in North Somerset, England. There is also a plaque there that claims such.

Regardless of how he got the inspiration, the result is a long-lasting, remarkable hymn that has resonated with believers for hundreds of years. It’s been sung by many, many Christians, including famous ones like Amy Grant, the Oak Ridge Boys, Guy Penrod, Jimmy Fortune, of course, and many more.

Jimmy does an absolutely incredible job of covering the song. He has his own unique way of performing, and he puts a lot of deliberate care into each verse. As you listen, you’re sure to be reminded of God’s grace and relentless love for you.

Teen’s ‘Defying Gravity’ Performance on AGT Wows

This teen’s ‘Defying Gravity’ performance on AGT wows the audience and judges. This definitely won’t be the last we see of her! She stood there—just 13 years old—with nothing but her voice and a dream big enough to shake the rafters. Evelyn Errante of Phoenix, Arizona, didn’t just sing ‘Defying Gravity’—she believed it with every fiber of her being. She believed every word, every note. When she sang, it reminded us to remember that God is not done with any of us yet.

And something in us stirred when that chorus soared out of her lungs.

Because this girl? She wasn’t worried about being too young. She wasn’t thinking about who might be better or more polished. She just sang—full of wonder, wide-eyed hope, and with so much joy, telling the world she’s not waiting for permission to live the dream God stitched into her bones.

And maybe that’s what we need to hear—those of us who’ve walked five decades and feel the weight of too many unfinished things.

Maybe you’ve buried your gift in the laundry piles and long days. Perhaps you’ve told yourself it’s too late, too impractical, too silly to dream again. But watching Evelyn? Oh, sister—it reminds us: God doesn’t put an expiration date on what He’s placed inside you.

You may not be 13, standing on a stage—but you still have something the world needs. You still have breath in your lungs and gifts tucked into your soul.

So light the candle. Write the chapter. Start the class. Break up the earth for your garden. Bake the bread. Sing the song. Whatever it is—do the thing.

Because maybe defying gravity doesn’t look like Broadway. Maybe it looks like a woman, fully alive again—remembering that God's not done. Not even close.

He’s still dreaming with you.

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29

Stunning Cover of The Eagles’ ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’

Shane Ericks recently released a stunning cover of The Eagles’ ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive,’ and it’s simply beautiful. Her voice hums with strength, beauty, and elegance—just about every element that’s needed to cover this song. Don’t hesitate to play the video and hear the sweet music.

Originally released by The Eagles in 1993, ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’ is a lovely slow song about loved ones making it through tough times together, thanks to their love and dedication to each other. It talks about love as a motivating feeling. When nothing else can get you through—love can.
Some of the song’s lyrics are:

Lost and lonely
Now you've given me the will to survive
When we're hungry
Love will keep us alive

This is a great song to cover. ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’ is practically forgotten in today’s pop-focused landscape, but it shouldn’t be. Shane’s helping people remember the song by putting her own gentle spin on it. Thanks to her, a new generation will be introduced to the beloved piece of timeless music.

As Shane sings, she never rushes through the lyrics. She takes her time and goes with the flow of the beat and piano. Though she has an impressive vocal range, she keeps her tone soft and intimate throughout. She also has parts of the song where she layers her own harmony onto her voice. The effect is breathtakingly beautiful and wonderful.

‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’ has a quiet and calm beauty, and Shane did well to maintain that peaceful flow. It’s a song that makes you want to reflect or slow dance as you listen to it. Shane’s performance feels very personal and moving. She proves that song covers are more than just a redo of a ballad, but something that everyone can connect to and feel.

Family Band’s Toe-Tapping ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ Cover

They sit together in their living room — Colt strumming his guitar, Aubree smiling behind the camera, and their kids tapping on drums and bass and just being their joyful selves. There is no studio, no audience, just a family finding light in the dark by making music together.

Their cover of ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ isn’t just a song. It’s a little burst of sunshine in the middle of a hard season. You can almost hear the hope crackling beneath the strings — the kind of hope that’s stubborn, like faith held tight in trembling hands. If you’ve ever needed a little pick-me-up, this performance is like a warm hug for the soul. From the very first strum of the guitar to the last cheerful chorus, you can feel the joy bubbling up—pure, unfiltered, and infectious. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the best medicine for a weary heart is a simple song sung together with those you love.

This family doesn’t have it all figured out. Their voices aren’t perfect — and that’s the point. It’s the messy, beautiful, real-ness of love that can’t be bought or earned. It’s the laughter between the verses and the smiles exchanged when someone hits the wrong note, but they keep singing anyway.

Back when the world shut down and the days stretched long and lonely, they found a way to remind us all that joy still lives in the small things—in the family gathered ‘round a song, in the stories shared, and in the music made by hearts that refuse to give up.

So when you watch their cover or any of their music for that matter, you don’t just hear the music, you feel the moments, the magic, their family bond, and just how much fun they have together. As a family, you can see how they choose hope, love, and fun even when the world feels heavy.

Because that’s the kind of love money can’t buy. But it’s the kind that saves us, time and again.

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Busker's Unique Cover of ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ Is Mesmerizing

This busker’s unique cover of ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ is mesmerizing, and it’s the sweetest surprise you’ll hear all week! Some songs live in our bones. They’re the all-time hits that grow with us and are passed down from generation to generation. In fact, they’re stitched into summer BBQs and long road trips down back highways with the windows down and the sun tangled in our hair. They echo off the walls of malls and subway tunnels, sneak through grocery store speakers, and suddenly everyone around us is humming, tapping, and singing along.

‘Dancing Queen’ is one of those songs. It’s a familiar anthem. It’s joy, youth, and a little glitter from the '70s all wrapped into one. But here’s the thing, this singer is just a girl with a guitar, standing in the middle of the streets of the UK—a busker with a gift that hushes the noise of the world. She goes by Lierre, and if you blink, you might miss her. But if you hear her? You’ll never forget her.

Her version of ‘Dancing Queen’ doesn’t come with disco balls or movies like ‘Mama Mia.’ Instead, her kind of music and voice are so incredibly different. It slips in slowly like candlelight flickering in the quiet hours. She plays our favorite song so tender and bare, with a folksy softness that wraps around your ribs and makes you ache in the most beautiful way.

It’s the same all-time favorite song of ours, but it’s so different. You think you know the song. You’ve sung it in cars, in kitchens, in dollar store aisles. But when Lierre sings it, “You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen…” It feels different.

It doesn’t shout. It soothes.

It’s the kind of version you play when your house is finally still after a long day. When the last light is out, and you're soaking in the tub. It’s the kind of song you stretch to in the quiet of the morning, or play on repeat when your teens are finally asleep and you’re gathering your soul again.

And maybe that’s why I can’t stop listening.

“You are the dancing queen...”

Not just seventeen. Not just then. Still. Now. Always. So tonight, let this song be the last thing you hear before sleep. Then turn around and share it with a friend because it’s meant to be heard, felt, and passed on. One soft, mesmerizing note at a time.

“He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Female Group Stuns on AGT and Scores a Golden Buzzer

A female group stunned on America’s Got Talent and scored a Golden Buzzer in the process. The young women wowed with their beautiful voices and dance moves, thoroughly impressing the judges and the studio audience. Watch the short and awe-inspiring clip to listen to and see their fantastic audition on America’s Got Talent.

Everyone who appears on shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent hopes to hit it big, make their dreams a reality, and win over the show’s judges with their talent. Sadly, not all who appear on those programs do that and their dreams are crushed. But that’s kind of the nature of the entertainment business. It’s cutthroat and competitive. You either have it, or you don’t.

In a clip posted on YouTube, four sisters in their early 20s demonstrated that they most certainly have it with their outstanding audition on America’s Got Talent. The young women, who call themselves The BoykinZ, performed an original song of theirs, “I Fell in Love with a Cowboy.”

Not only did they show off their songwriting capability and beautiful voices, but they also had a choreographed dance to accompany their performance. These ladies are supremely talented, and the studio audience positively responded to their audition seconds after the women started singing their original tune. Everyone in the audience was on their feet, shouting and clapping.

The studio audience wasn’t the only people thoroughly impressed by the women. The four judges – Simon, Sofia, Mel B and Howie – showered The BoykinZ with compliments.  Simon called it “almost a perfect audition.”

But the biggest moment was still to come. The show’s host, Terry Crews, was also blown away by their audition. He came from behind the stage to the judge’s table to slam the Golden Buzzer for the four sisters.

It was a well-deserved Golden Buzzer, that’s for sure.

Home Free Wows with Live A Cappella of ‘Something to Talk About’

Check out the a cappella group Home Free perform a stunning rendition of the song  'Something to Talk About' by Bonnie Raitt. The members of this group sound incredible together, and the audience is loving their performance of this song. It is amazing to think about how the full sound that you hear from Home Free is coming from just one instrument – their voices!

‘People are talking, talkin' 'bout people
I hear them whisper you won't believe it
They think we're lovers kept undercover
I'll just ignore it, but they keep sayin' we’

In the video, Home Free is performing ‘Something to Talk About’ at the 25th Anniversary Party at City Winery Nashville on Sunday, June 8th, 2025. “We want to sing a song now that we’ve never actually done in our show,” says one of the members before the song starts. “This is the first song we ever recorded with Adam Bastien.”

The a cappella group Home Free consists of five vocalists: Adam Bell-Bastien, Adam Chance, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, and Tim Foust. In 2013, the group won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC. Adam Bell-Bastien is the newest member of the group, and many people online shared how they love seeing him in the mix now.

“Awesome, Adam B is a great addition to Home Free,” writes one person online after watching the video. “They are the best all vocal band out there. Love them.”

When it comes to ‘Something to Talk About,’ this song was one of Bonnie Raitt’s biggest hits. The song was written by Canadian singer-songwriter Shirley Eikhard and recorded by Bonnie Raitt in 1991 for her album Luck of the Draw. The song became popular on multiple radio formats and peaked at number five on the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, number 12 on the Album Rock Tracks chart, and number five on the Hot 100.

We hope you enjoyed watching this fun performance from Home Free today!

This Jazzy Rendition of ‘Edge of Seventeen’ Is Beautiful

Check out this wonderful, jazzy rendition of Stevie Nicks' ‘Edge of Seventeen’. The singer in the video is Robyn Adele Anderson, and her voice, along with the band, sounds amazing! This song really does lend itself so well to this type of moody jazz.

‘Just like the white winged dove
Sings a song, sounds like she's singin' "ooh, ooh, ooh"
Just like the white winged dove
Sings a song, sounds like she's singin' "ooh, baby, ooh, said, ooh"’

What a great performance! In the caption of the video, Robyn shares a bit about her thoughts on the song ‘Edge of Seventeen.’

“This song is so iconic, I can’t believe it took me this long to get around to covering it!” she writes. “Of course I had to make it extra special and bring in my girl Tiffany Weiss on violin (before she hit the road touring with Will Smith!). So please enjoy my first (and definitely not last) Stevie Nicks cover.”

Many people online were blown away by this jazzy cover of this classic song.

“Wow! Somehow it feels like this was the original version of the song, waiting to come out! Fantastic!” writes one person after watching the music video.

“Very cool, thank you for that,” comments another person online. “Really enjoyed the different take on this song – that jazzy uplifting sound to the song sounded great. And that singer, wow! She definitely pulled it off. Great job guys, definitely loved it.”

The song ‘Edge of Seventeen’ by Stevie Nicks was inspired by the deaths of both John Lennon and Stevie’s uncle Jonathan Nicks, which occurred within the same week in December 1980. And the song's title came from a misheard phrase by Tom Petty's wife, Jane, who said she met Tom "at the age of seventeen," which Stevie Nicks heard as "edge of seventeen."

We hope you enjoyed this creative take on this classic song today!
