Youngster’s Sweet and Adorable Rendition of ‘Moon River’

Little Nicholas Protsenko delivers a sweet and adorable rendition of ‘Moon River’ while likely having little or no understanding of the song’s rich history. However, many of the adoring adults watching and listening to the song know the song well, the movie it’s from, and the most famous versions of it. That knowledge only adds to the pleasure of hearing it sung so wonderfully by this talented 3-year-old tike!

Nicholas is accompanied by his brother, 6-year-old Leo, and his 16-year-old sister, Karolina, is just to Nicholas’s left. She holds her violin and is there to assist her younger brothers as needed. The three are regular performers in the streets of Santa Monica, California, but they are known much more widely. Karolina’s YouTube channel has 8.5 million subscribers, and Leo’s has nearly 44,000! No doubt, Nicholas will follow in their paths. All the children have inherited their musician parents’ talent!

Nicholas gives an excited little shiver at the first note, and Leo is all smiles as he plays the song’s piano introduction. The two are dressed in sweatshirts—appropriate for Southern California’s December weather. Nicholas’s feet dangle above the street from where he sits perched on a stool, and his hair is tied up so it doesn’t hang in his eyes. Leo’s legs are just long enough to navigate his keyboard’s pedals.

Before too long, Nicholas has been given a tambourine to hold in his restless little boy paws. As far as Leo, he seems so at ease and skilled. He watches the crowd as much as they watch him and his little brother. The two are amazing!

Moon River’ was composed by Henry Mancini, and the words were written by Johnny Mercer. Written for the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s and performed by the movie’s lead Audrey Hepburn, the song won the 1961 Academy Award for Best Original Song. Images from Johnny Mercer’s Savannah, Georgia childhood are set to a lovely, romantic melody. ‘Moon River’ was later covered by Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Amy Winehouse, Michael Bublé, and others. Andy Williams named his Branson, MO theater after the iconic song, which became a huge hit for him.

While Nicholas and Leo may not know all that song history, they sure know how to make those listening live and later smile. A beautiful little boy singing a beautiful song—it doesn’t get much better! The hearty applause from the admiring crowd proves that!

The Temptations Light Up the Stage with Medley of Their Iconic Hits

The Temptations light up the stage with a medley of their iconic and beloved hits. After decades, the group is still going strong, singing the songs we all know and love. Check out the short clip to watch and hear the group’s dazzling medley infused with Christmas songs.

Very few groups have withstood the test of time and are still performing decades after they first burst onto the scene. Of course, the one that immediately comes to most people’s mind is The Rolling Stones. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the rest of the guys, most of whom are in their 80s, still put on shows, wowing crowds with their timeless tunes.

Similarly, The Temptations is another group that continues to wow audiences after first forming decades ago. The Motown vocalists are legends. Their songs like “Just My Imagination,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do” and “Get Ready” are classics, still hold up and remain thoroughly enjoyable. But their tune “My Girl” stands out among the rest. It’s arguably one of the best songs of all time.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the group performed a lovely medley of some of their biggest, most beloved songs. Their stunning performance immediately transports listeners, taking them on a nostalgic trip through some of the biggest Motown hits.

Even if you aren’t a big fan of The Temptations, you still have to appreciate their legendary talent and that they’re still together and continue to perform all these years later. But honestly, how can you not love The Temptations?

Additionally, the guys give some background information on their biggest hit of all time, “My Girl.” They mention how the song came together and how, after it was released, they heard from The Beatles, The Supremes and Berry Gordy.

Child Sings Precious Cover of ‘Yesterday’ by The Beatles

A child delivered a precious cover of “Yesterday” by The Beatles. The youngster turned in what is likely to be the sweetest, most heartwarming version of the classic you’ve ever heard. Watch the video to listen to the young woman’s cover of the timeless tune.

The Beatles forever changed not just pop music but music in general. Their influence and impact continue to loom large over the music industry. One musician after another continually cites the four lads from Liverpool as having influenced them in one way or another.

Additionally, it would be difficult to find someone who has never heard of The Beatles. That’s because they are still beloved decades after they disbanded. Hits from The Beatles are still played, listened to and covered worldwide. Even people who aren’t the biggest Beatles fans (me included) will likely find they surprisingly know the lyrics to many of their songs.

Even tiny children are familiar with the Beatles’ songs. In a clip posted on YouTube, a 3-year-old girl performs one of the group’s most memorable and beloved songs, “Yesterday.” It’s likely the sweetest, most precious cover of the tune ever. You’ll want to watch and listen to her performance repeatedly. It’s just that cute!

“Yesterday

All my troubles seemed so far away

Now it looks as though they’re here to stay

Oh, I believe in yesterday”

Amazingly, the little girl knows every lyric of the Beatles song. She doesn’t stumble over or flub a single word. Instead, she effortlessly gives what is the most precious rendition of “Yesterday.” Judging by her perfect performance, she apparently knows this song inside and out.

In addition to her heartwarming rendition of the song originally sung by Paul McCartney, the 3-year-old even adds some dance moves to her performance. Throughout the two-minute clip, the little girl shows off her adorable moves.

Colossians 3:16  “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Nurse's Show-Stopping Performance of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’

One nurse delivered a show-stopping, awe-inspiring performance of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The young man’s performance on Ireland’s Got Talent is stunning as he nails the Elvis Presley classic. Watch the video to hear the young singer’s outstanding performance of a beloved tune.

The good Lord has blessed and gifted everyone with a set of talents. Those skills and abilities are given for us to use and to bring glory and honor to His name. However, like everything else someone gives us, a gift is only good if it’s being used as intended.

People are much more talented and capable of achieving amazing things than we’d like to realize. For whatever reason, many people seem afraid to use their talents. Perhaps they fear criticism or judgment, or maybe something happened in their past that makes them shy away from utilizing their talent or skill.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Rodelle Borja, a 29-year-old nurse living in Dublin, takes the stage and stands before the judges and the studio audience. From the moment he walks out onto the stage, it’s clear that the young man is incredibly nervous. But he does say that he sings almost daily to the patients, and they seem to enjoy it, he adds.

After a quick back-and-forth with the judges, Rodelle does his best to stifle his nerves and begins singing the Elvis Presley classic. He has a lovely singing voice and immediately wins over the studio audience. Seconds into his performance, they hoot and holler their wholehearted approval.

As the song progresses, Rodelle becomes increasingly comfortable on stage. His nerves seem to evaporate before our eyes, and his performance continues to improve.

The young man, who was obviously nervous in the opening moments of the clip, received a standing ovation and four enthusiastic and emphatic yes votes from the judges.

3-Year-Old Sings Classic ‘Lean On Me’ as Part of Precious Duet

You’ll never forget the moment you witness 3-year-old Angelica Nero sing the classic song ‘Lean On Me’ as a part of a precious duet. It was a bright sunny day, and Angelica and Liya sat on a rooftop covered in grass with a canopy of trees behind them to bring you a special song.

‘Lean On Me’ has been sung hundreds of times since it was first released in 1972 by Bill Withers. There’s just something about that song that reminds us no matter what we’re going through, we’re never, ever alone. We have friends, family, and even strangers who will come to help us if we simply ask. What a beautiful lesson for little Angelica to learn at such a tender age. It was too cute to watch her sing all about it too. Dressed in a flower-covered sweater and pigtails, she sat next to Liya and waited for her turn to sing her parts of the song. What happened next was nothing short of magical with a mix of preciousness.

She sang so well fans couldn’t help but like the song, too. The beautiful duo went viral on YouTube with over 8,000 views, 22,000 subscribers, and hundreds of comments. One viewer said, “I am a faithful fan of Angelica. I don’t know why, but every time I listened to Angelica, I burst into tears. God bless you all. You are amazing!”  Another fan added, “She's so adorable. She captures my heart.” A great-grandmother couldn’t help but add a comment of her own. She said, “I just love her she is so sweet and sings great. I am your fan, and I am a great-grandmother.”

So, my friend, just like Angelica showed us the power of leaning on a friend during this sweet duo, may we remember to lean on the ultimate friend we have in Jesus, who will never leave us and is always ready to carry our burdens. Amen!

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Heartwarming Moment Iam Tongi Surprises Beloved Teacher with Special Performance

American Idol winner Iam Tongi surprised a beloved teacher with a special performance, making for a heartwarming moment. The gifted young man surprised the teacher and students when he appeared and gave an unexpected performance. Check out the video to see how the teacher and the students reacted to the American Idol’s surprise appearance.

Educators are a unique and vital group of people. What they do and say in the classroom will literally impact the next generation and our world for years to come. Teachers are in places of extreme importance, teaching and touching young lives daily.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a music teacher, Jenni Warner, was surprised with a special performance by Iam Tongi, the winner of American Idol’s Season 21. The teacher and most of the students had no idea who would be walking through those doors.

The video mentions that the students and the teacher were gathered together, believing they were attending an assembly to discuss a food drive. But that was not the case at all. Yes, the food drive was part of it, but the real reason was to surprise Jenni Warner.

When asked what she loves most about her job, Jenni did not hesitate.

“Oh, the students,” she said. “Guys, this is going to make me cry. The kids that I get to teach and be with every day are incredible humans. And I love that making music just like connects all of us together. It’s really fun.”

When Iam walked through the doors and entered the room, the students started screaming and cheering joyfully. Jenni also could not believe her eyes.

As he consistently did on American Idol, Iam showed he is an incredibly talented and musically gifted young man. He most certainly deserved to be the popular music competition program winner.

Young Drummer Nails Spot-On Cover of ‘Jailhouse Rock' By Elvis Presley

Prepare to enjoy fantastic talent from a young woman and a drum set. She will have you dancing along to her strong beat. Check out this video where a young drummer nails a spot-on cover of ‘Jailhouse Rock' by Elvis Presley.

It is extremely entertaining to hear this old classic with Elvis. The video footage shows a teen girl playing the drums with zeal and a side video of her foot camera. She is working so hard. Then, we get black-and-white original clips of Elvis in his video performance of ‘Jailhouse Rock.’ This song is high-energy, and it makes you want to dance along. You will find yourself singing, tapping, or swaying along.

This young woman is sitting in front of a red curtain on a small stage. She goes by Sina-Drums. She is extremely gifted with rhythm, plays from her heart, and gets you engaged. A lot of drummers play the background and carry the steady beat. What is unique about Sina is that she has front running and entertaining abilities, along with her drumming ability. She is a special performer in her field. It is truly inspiring to watch her creativity and her strength to keep you engaged the entire song, along with the delight of watching Elvis dance next to her in the throwback video clips.

We are invited to have this type of passion for God in our worship to Him. We are called to use our instruments and our bodies to praise Him. Whether you like drumming, singing, or simply lifting your hands, our sacrifices of praise can be a sweet offering to our Savior.

“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” Psalm 33:1-3

Voice Contestant Delivers Chilling Rendition of Roy Orbison Classic

Sofronio Vasquez, ‘The Voice’ contestant, delivers a chilling rendition of Roy Orbison’s classic ‘Crying’ that makes you think you’re smack dab in 1962 when the song was first released. Sofronio had been making waves on The Voice since the beginning, when he gained fans after his cover of ‘That’s What Friends Are For’ went viral, reaching over nine million views. Before making his debut on The Voice, would you believe he actually competed in a Filipino reality singing competition? I had no idea until I dived deep into the internet to learn more about one of The Voice’s contestants. It seems like he was made to make a living singing and performing.

Before he came on the show, you wouldn’t believe what his full-time job was. The talented young man was a dental assistant and was pursuing a career as a dentist. Sonfronio’s journey to the stage is unique and reminds us to keep pursuing our dreams as we continue to live in everyday life even when the path isn’t always easy. One of the hardest parts of performing ‘Crying’ is that the song held deep emotions for the singer as it reminded him of his late father.

The performance was out of this world as he stepped onto the center of the stage in a simple suit. It didn’t need anything flashy to gain the audience’s attention. He knew he would win them over with his powerful voice. Sofronio sang every note with all of his heart and it was refreshing to watch how he simply poured his heart into the music. When he hit the final high notes, he had the crowd and the judges going wild. It was in incredible moment to watch unfold.

Fans took to the internet to talk about whether or not he would make it to the winning finale. One viewer commented, “That is how you perform in a contest! You nailed it Sofronio! We are all rooting for you.” Another added, “I live in Korea. But, how this Philipino man sings really touches my heart and soul. Just impressive! Way to go, Sofronio!” Another fan couldn’t help but gush over the performance; she said, “Sofronio's rendition of ‘Crying’ has become so addictive that I've watched this over and over and over again.” We couldn’t agree more.

We don’t know if he will win the season finale, but we do know this won’t be the last we see this amazing singer. He will no doubt have a future in music. What did you think of this epic and stunning performance?

Duo Stuns with Fantastic Cover of The Beatles’ ‘Come Together’

An incredibly talented duo stunned with a fantastic cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together.” The two musically gifted young women wow with their beautiful and unique performance of one of the most beloved songs ever. Check out the video to watch and listen to their awe-inspiring performance of a classic from The Beatles.

The Beatles are, without a doubt, one of the most iconic and influential bands ever. In a short time together, Paul, John, George and Ringo produced songs that are still widely listened to, played and covered decades after they broke up. Even those who aren’t the biggest fans of the four lads from Liverpool understand how important the Beatles were and still are to music.

They have dozens of songs people immediately notice, often within the first couple of notes. Seconds later, once either John or Paul starts singing those memorable lyrics, everyone within earshot will soon be singing along. It’s almost a reflex, and it doesn’t matter if you enjoy The Beatles or don't.

In a clip posted on YouTube, two women put on a lovely, dazzling and free public performance of The Beatles “Come Together.” Even if you didn’t know the song the young ladies were about to perform, the iconic opening notes on the guitar give it away. That’s how widely known and beloved The Beatles remain.

The young performers’ talents are undeniable. Neither of them misses or hits a false note or flubs a lyric. It’s a near-flawless performance, and while covering a Beatles tune, that isn't easy to do. Because John, Paul, George and Ringo’s songs are so well-known, any cover is immediately and harshly judged against the original.

This is one cover even the most diehard Beatles fan will have difficulty finding fault with. I don't think anyone could cover a Beatles song better than the two young women did in this clip.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Young Woman Dazzles with Cover of Whitney Houston’s 'I Have Nothing' on The Voice

Dreams have a way of unfolding in the most unexpected ways, and for Aliyah Khaylyn, one of the brightest rising stars, showed us all what her dreams were made of. This young woman dazzled with the cover of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Have Nothing’ on The Voice

Drenched in rose gold, from her sparkling earrings to her shimmering dress, Aliyah’s presence alone was mesmerizing. But it wasn’t just her stunning look that captivated the audience—it was her voice, which effortlessly carried the power of one of the greatest love ballads ever sung.

With a jazz band behind her, Aliyah took center stage as she began to sing. Quickly, we learned she picked the right song to sing, highlighting Aliyah's vocal agility. Who knew she could hit the high notes like an angel? She even navigated the challenging vocal parts of the song with ease, adding her own style while honoring the late Whitney Houston. Some, like myself, may even argue that in that moment, Aliyah outshone the legendary original, making this rendition unforgettable. By the time she reached the heart of the song’s soaring high notes before ending her performance, the audience and the judges were left in awe.

“I’m in shock right now,” Gwen Stefani said, one of the celebrity judges for The Voice.

For those who didn’t get to watch the show live, got to witness the replay on YouTube. Aliyah’s performance gained over 562,000 views and thousands of comments from fans. One fan commented how she should have made it to the finals, “I think she is The Voice and should have won the whole competition. She's got it all.” Another fan added, “I was stunned she didn’t make it to the lives. She was absolutely breathtaking. I know we will hear more of her!”

Sadly, she didn’t make it to the finals, but that doesn’t mean this will be the last time we see Aliyah. With her God-given talent, we will see her rise through the ranks of stardom and see her become a singer in her own right through God’s timing. Her dreams of winning the show may not have come true, but wow, what a spectacular performance!

Psalm 37:4  "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Kelly Clarkson’s Son Proves Talent Runs in the Family with Frank Sinatra Cover

It turns out, when it comes to singing, genetics might just hit the high notes—and Kelly Clarkson’s son proves talent runs in the family with Frank Sinatra Cover. But, a moment before the show started, Remington took to the stage and had fans melting. The young charmer sang Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’; let me tell you, the kiddo melted hearts. The camera panned to the crowd and captured his sister, River singing right along with him.

‘To think I did all that

And may I say, not in a shy way

Oh, no, oh, no, not me

I did it my way’

Kelly is raising her kids on Frank’s songs and other classics. It’s incredible that even at such a young age, her kids know how to sing and sing well. The video of the performance captures something we all need more of these days: confidence and joy. Remington had no problem singing in front of his mother’s live studio audience. It was impossible not to smile about his confidence and how well he sang.

Isn’t it amazing how God uses children to teach us how to let go and enjoy the moment? Watching Remington reminded me how God often places gifts within us that we don’t fully recognize until we dare to use them. Remington is learning to use his gifts at such a young age and it’s truly amazing to watch it all unfold. And let’s not forget his mama.

You could see the pride and joy radiating from her as she cheered her little guy on. Motherhood is full of moments that will stretch us and amaze us. And this was one of those moments where Kelly could be amazed. As Remington crooned the few notes of Sinatra’s timeless lyrics, the crowd erupted with applause, and rightly so. Bravo, Remy—you’ve got the spotlight, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!

James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."

Family Band Delivers Stunning Cover of the Classic 'Soul Man'

Watch out—you might just fall head over heels for Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids! This sweet family band brings so much charm and talent to the stage that you’ll be grinning from ear to ear as they perform. This family band delivers a stunning cover of the classic ‘Soul Man,’ and I doubt the little munchkins really get the words mean yet, but they are grinning from ear to ear.

This family band includes Colt Clark, the father of the crew, and his three kids, Beckett, Cash, and Bellamy. Their mom, Aubree was behind the scenes capturing the moment, but in case you wanted to know, she has her hands full with homeschooling the kids and recording their performances. With over 429,000 subscribers, it's not a wonder as to why Aubree keeps busy. The kids would rather play than learn algebra. But I think we all feel that way when it comes to music.

One fan summed up the entire performance with one comment she said, “Can't believe how versatile you all are!  Colt with your great vocals and guitar playing, Bellamy on the keyboard ( her antics always make me smile) and Cash and Beckett are great as always.” And she is right! Watch the video, and you’ll find Bellamy dancing in her seat, waving a scarf back and forth, and giggling throughout the performance. The girl loves music. It’s definitely her passion, and her passion seems to give her shy brothers permission to smile, get into the groove, and love performing, too!

Another viewer added a comment that would have you laughing out loud: “Whew! For a few minutes, I was transported back to the '60s. Time travel does indeed exist!” Another fan added,  “My favorite music family. It wouldn't be a Clark family video if Bellamy wasn't making her brothers laugh.” We couldn’t agree more. The girl has some spunk and fun when the tunes are playing for sure.

If you’re looking for a heartwarming escape, this is a performance you won’t want to miss!

Psalm 150:6  "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"

Fantastic 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' Cover by Four Young Women

There’s something so magical about the WOW! Girls’ rendition of ‘Country Roads,’ especially when you hear them singing it together in their small-town park. Their harmonies are absolutely breathtaking. It’s incredible how their voices intertwine, creating something that feels both fresh and familiar. As I listen, I’m reminded of the power of simple, heartfelt lyrics, like those in ‘Country Roads,’ that speak to all of us.

‘I hear her voice in the morning hour, she calls me

The radio reminds me of my home far away

Driving down the road, I get a feeling

That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday’

The WOW! Girls make ‘Country Roads’ sound as if it was created yesterday instead of decades ago by John Denver. They transport us to a place where peace and the feeling of home intertwine. The way their voices blend together is truly unique, reminding us of the comfort we find in home and the deep connection we share with the places and people we love. There’s just something about going home that puts us all at ease. I can’t wait for the day we all get to go home–through the gates of heaven. The idea of coming home brings peace to our hearts.

Psalm 23:1-2 beautifully captures this peace we long for: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.” These verses remind us that God, like a loving shepherd, is a place of rest where we can find comfort and rest. Just as the song reflects a yearning for home, God promises us His presence, where we can experience true peace—where we are loved and cared for.

Whether through music or through our faith, there is something incredibly powerful about finding that “home” where our hearts are at peace. Keep singing, girls—your voices remind us all of the beauty of home and the rest we can always find in God. What a beautiful picture of peace you create!

Psalm 23:1-2 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.”

The Voice' Contestant Stuns with Powerful Rendition of 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine'

Danny Joseph, among the top five contestants on The Voice Season 26, stuns the judges and viewers with his powerful rendition of ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine.’ The 37-year-old London native sings the song, written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong, with a rock sound—more like that of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogarty than Marvin Gaye. And, straight scoop? He does it fabulously!

The concept for ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’ came to Barrett Strong when he was writing in Chicago. While walking down Michigan Avenue one day, he got to thinking about the fact that people often used that expression, and he decided to develop it into a song. The result was a sad song about a guy who learns, through the rumor mill, that his girlfriend is cheating on him.

Though Danny makes a few slight word changes, here are four lines from verse two of ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine:’

‘I know a man ain't supposed to cry

But these tears, I can't hold inside

Losing you would end my life, you see

'Cause you mean that much to me’

As the music starts, Michael Bublé says aloud, “Oh, yeah, baby. Mm, mm!” That’s a great way to begin! Danny’s performance has the attention of the judges throughout. He is super expressive and has great stage presence and style. His fingers are covered with rings, and he wears a gold blazer and brown boots. Some might get David Arguette or Matt Dillon vibes from the cool, mustached musician.

Reba’s contestant gets an affirming eyebrow raise from Gwen and has Michael and Snoop Dogg singing along and grooving in their seats. A long, raspy note at 1:39 delights Reba, and her smile says that she thinks she might have the winner!

Danny goes into a guitar solo at 1:40, and it ends at 2:05. His guitar is reminiscent of the 1970, 11-minute CCR recording of the song; the song was one of the few the group recorded but did not write themselves. At one point during Danny’s journey on The Voice, he asked if he should “lose the guitar,” to which Reba said, “Oh, heck no. That guitar’s a part of you!”

At the conclusion of the guitar solo, Danny’s three backup singers have spread out behind him. He takes the microphone back, and now two of the judges are on their feet. He delivers an exciting finish. What’s not to love? A great song—the Marvin Gaye version was ranked 119 on  Rolling Stones’ 2021 List of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time—and a dynamic performer.

Danny Joseph moved to the United States in 2015. He lives with his wife of nine years and his three children in Dallas, Texas.

'Holding On' Andrea Bocelli and Gwen Stefani Duet Lyric Video

One of the most well-known powerhouses of opera partnered with another great voice of our time. And you don't want to miss the results. Listen to ‘Holding On’ by Andrea Bocelli and Gwen Stefani in this duet lyric video.

Andrea has such a stunning voice, and he catches your heart every time he starts to sing. What I love about this song is how Andrea leads Gwen through the music and gives her ample opportunity to show of her angelic voice. Their voices sound beautiful together. It’s incredible how they complement and compromise at the same time.

‘Take my hand take all I am and hold on

Keep holding on and on and on

Even when you can't be strong

When the night it feel so long’

The lyrics paint a picture of that deep longing we all feel—to find light in the middle of life’s darkest moments. And isn’t it true that where there’s light, love is never far behind? Andrea’s voice seems to carry both the ache of vulnerability and the steady strength that only hope can bring. Then Gwen’s soulful tone steps in, wrapping it all in a warmth that feels like grace—reminding us that even in the hardest seasons, God’s love is holding it all together.

Andrea thought a duet with Gwen would be fun and a great way to celebrate creating music of 30 years. We couldn’t agree more. It wasn’t just fun, it was stunning!  He also created an entire album of duets with some of the world’s best singers like Gwen,  Ed Sheeran, Céline Dion, and Sarah Brightman, alongside fresh duets with Shania Twain, Gwen Stefani, and Chris Stapleton. Gwen and Andrea are together and drawdropping. I can’t imagine how incredible the rest of the duets sound.

What do you think? Is this song worthy of Andrea’s vocal talent? Did you love how Gwen steps in to echo the words of the music, too? Either way, we hope this stunning piece was a bright spot in your day.

AGT Winner Richard Goodall's Chilling National Anthem Performance

Prepare to be blown away with this classic song. As we acknowledge the great honor of living in America, Richard Goodall leads us before the Indiana State Basketball game. His voice is wonderfully unique and powerful. Check out AGT winner Richard Goodall’s chilling national anthem performance.

As Richard begins to sing the national anthem, we are amazed at his vocal strength and ability to sing with such confidence in front of a large audience. He is no stranger to the stage, though. Richard won the 2024 ‘America’s Got Talent’ competition on national television. He is from Indiana and is seen back in his home state performing at a college basketball game.

It never gets old hearing skilled artists put their own flair on the National Anthem. He is a janitor with a great talent for singing. The captions reveal that he won a million dollars for his vocal performance. He wows the crowd with his high notes and unexpected runs. Goodall has taken off as a singer. He went from being the unknown singing janitor to becoming a winner on AGT. His life has changed.

This reminds us of how Christ has redefined all who believe in Him. We are transformed into His likeness. Where we were once dead in our sins, we have been made alive in Christ. We were in the “shadows,” so to speak and now we are shining the light of Jesus to the world. Just like Richard’s talent was hidden from the world but is now shared with all, we can be reminded that our confidence in Christ can empower us to share His love with all.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Teen's Fantastic Violin Cover of Bee Gees' 'More Than A Woman'

Karolina Protsenko never ceases to amaze us. This young woman is incredibly talented at dancing while she plays her violin. She has such flair, style, and joy. As she performs in the street of a main shopping strip, prepare to be inspired. Check out a teen's fantastic violin cover of Bee Gees' 'More Than A Woman.’

Karolina begins by playing on the streets of California in her green dress with her blue bow. The young teen is a talented ballerina and violinist. She knows how to wow an audience with her unexpected twirls and precision of playing. Her precious smile will get you excited too. Karolina plays ‘More Than a Woman’ with confidence and excitement. She will have you dancing or singing for a long time. In fact, a woman in the audience decides to come nearby and join her in dancing. She gets her groove on unashamedly.

It is fun listening to Karolina play this song about a woman as she herself is growing into a fine young woman. She is poised, collected, and a skilled artist. She stands out because of her unique combination of talents and her wonderfully cheerful demeanor. How has God gifted you? You may not be a dancing violinist, but the Lord has uniquely given you skills. Your personality, your strengths, and your dreams matter to God.

As you watch Karolina motivate a live audience who is shopping, may it remind you that your skills are needed to encourage others as well. You have a purpose in this world and we can all have child-like faith to see the Lord work in mighty ways.

“There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” 1 Corinthians 12:5-6

Fantastic Rendition of Merle Haggard’s Classic 'Mama Tried'

Deep in the woods, with the quiet hum of a nearby railroad track, The Petersens’ rendition of Merle Haggard’s classic ‘Mama Tried’ echoed through the trees like a heartfelt prayer. The Petersons family knows how to raise them right when it comes to strumming the guitar or singing alto. If you haven’t had the fun of seeing The Peterson’s live from Branson, Missouri, you will be delighted with this video! They turned Merle Haggard’s classic into a love song for every mother’s tireless devotion. Watching Karen Petersen, the band’s bassist and beloved mom, pour her heart into the performance felt like witnessing the heartbeat of motherhood itself—steadfast, unshakable, and full of grace. And isn’t that the truth of raising kids? We try!

Here’s the thing about being a mom: it’s a mix of grit, grace, and a whole lot of hoping for the best. We pray over scraped knees, lecture about homework deadlines, and dole out tough love like it’s our job (because it is). Yet somehow, when the world feels wild and uncertain, we still try to anchor our kids with love and a solid foundation with a whole lot of Jesus. We try—sometimes through gritted teeth and with a messy bun perched on top of our heads—but we do it because we believe in them.

The Petersens' voices carried the kind of warmth that makes you believe, even in the chaos, that all our trying isn’t in vain. So, to every mama out there who feels like she’s spinning plates, take heart. The love you pour into your kids echoes longer and louder than you think. As a mom to three, with two living out in the big, wild world, keep trying! I promise the best is yet to come. In the meantime, enjoy the encouragement of The Petersens’ music, and let their harmonies remind you of the beauty in the trying. After all, raising kids might just be the greatest song we’ll ever sing.

Proverbs 22:6 "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it."

Oliver Anthony’s Soul-Stirring Take on 'Take Me Home, Country Roads'

There’s something sacred about the song, ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads.’ For those of us who live in the Midwest, we take the song to heart. The best performance of the song to date is a soul-stirring rendition by Oliver Anthony. His version of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ is a performance you won’t soon forget. You might even add it to your playlist!

Recently, Oliver Anthony brought this magic to life as he sat in the middle of a wooded clearing by a gentle stream, strumming his banjo to the tune and there was just something about this song being played in the middle of nature. What I loved the most was the sound of his voice, so raw and heartfelt, seemed to echo through the trees, inviting all who heard it to pause and breathe.

Oliver’s version didn’t sound like a song–it felt like a prayer. Each note of his raspy voice in the John Denver classic carried a sense of longing to be home and gratitude for having a place to call home. That’s because Oliver knows what it’s like to miss home. For five years, he’s battled mental health challenges and alcohol abuse that left him feeling out of place and adrift. Overwhelmed by the battles he faced, he reached out to God, desperate for help and hope. The beautiful part is how God didn’t leave him stranded;  instead, God gave him a way to conquer his battles through the gift of music. Fans and critics alike have praised this performance, calling it one of the most moving versions of the song to date. I couldn’t agree more.

Oliver remembers getting messages from complete strangers after he performed at RadioWV, and he was truly blessed. He said, “It made me feel like I wasn’t just wasting my time.” What do you think? Could this rendition quite possibly be the best one you’ve ever heard? I sure think so.

Kristin Chenoweth's Stunning Rendition of Dolly Parton's 'I Will Always Love You'

Kristin Chenoweth’s stunning rendition of Dolly Parton’s 1974 release, ‘I Will Always Love You,’ shared on the delightful Kelly Clarkson’s stage, is worth the watch! After an introduction from Kelly, who is sharing the spotlight with other musical artists this season, the petite Oklahoma beauty devotes her song to her friend, Gavin Krill. And though her friend “is in Heaven,” she “miss[es] him every day.”

Kristin glows in a denim jumpsuit. A creamy-coffee-colored leather-look collar and a matching bow at the waist complete the look. The singer uses her bejeweled and beautiful hands to add emphasis throughout her performance, pointing heavenward at the guests in the studio and toward the audience watching at home. She sends her message of goodwill to all, speaking instead of singing the following lines directly to those there with her.

With slight word changes to Dolly’s original, she spoke these words in the most heartfelt way:

‘I really hope that life treats you kindly

And I hope y’all  have that you've ever dreamed of

And I wish you so much joy and true happiness’

Like Dolly, Kristin Chenoweth is small in stature but has huge talent and character. Her performance adds a few twists to the original, but it honors the OG in both sound and spirit.

Ms. Chenoweth is an actress and singer, a winner of both an Emmy and a Tony, and she played the original Glinda, The Good Witch, in the 2003 Broadway Musical, ‘Wicked.’ She’s been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years and has a lengthy resume of film, television, recording, and hosting work. If you’d like to see her in a new Christmas movie this year, she has one.

As the promiscuous and warm-hearted older sister of Reese Witherspoon, she slayed audiences in Four Christmases. And she met her man when she created a calendar featuring the hunky men of Montana in 12 Men of Christmas. Her latest is Our Little Secret; she stars with Lindsay Lohan. Whether she’s singing, acting, or chatting during an interview, Kristin Chenoweth is a favorite!
