It's official!  Provident Label Group/Sony Music has announced the signing of multi-award winning artist, songwriter, author and storyteller Matthew West to their roster. 

Drawing inspiration from, of all places, the depths of his own bout with cancer, Casting Crowns lead singer Mark Hall composes a song of encouragement and hope that reminds us that we never face life's trials alone.

Matthew West once again gives us a wonderful reminder that God, in all of His mercy, has given us the ultimate promise, that this messed-up world where we live right now is not our home.

It’s not unusual for a recording artist to be approached to write the title song for a motion picture.  But the challenge for Matthew West was to write a song for the pro-life movie, Unplanned, which explores the highly controversial topic of abortion. West talked about his song, “Unplanned”, and gave an unplugged performance on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends”.
