Two of the world's most talented vocalists, Josh Groban and Celine Dion, come together to sing "The Prayer." David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis originally wrote this iconic song in 1999. Decades later, the powerful words still ring true in the hearts of so many around the world. “So let the children remember the sun Let them dance, let them soar For their lives have begun Let the children engender the rain As the river runs through fields Forever subsiding their pain Prayer” The song was written in both English and Italian for artists Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli to sing solo, respectively. Later, the two superstars came together for an incredible duet of this beautiful song that received rave reviews. Today, Celine Dion is teaming up with another powerhouse voice for a special performance of “The Prayer.” Josh Groban is one of the most notable voices in adult contemporary music. Since he came onto the scene in the late 90s, he has been a staple musician. But when he was just 17 years old, Josh stood in for Andrea Bocelli during the rehearsals for The Grammy Awards. It was during that rehearsal that he first sang “The Prayer” with Celine Dion. Nine years later, the two reunited for another performance during one of her television specials. What resulted is one of the most watched and downloaded renditions of this iconic song. What an incredible duet from two legendary performers. Who else has chills right about now?

This is the Official Music Video" for my "revived" version of the classic hymn, "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus." I altered the melody and chorus and added a bridge; while keeping the lyrics in the verses the same. I am joined on this song by the musical talents of Nick Garrett-Powell who recorded and produced the track as well as singing the amazing harmony parts. On drums with the smooth brush work is the fantastic G.T. Albright and on stand-up bass is John Lingafelter rounding out the little jazz quartet.

This is an original worship song I wrote back in 2005 that we recently recorded for my upcoming CD "White". I was able to get my good friends Tyler Geel and Amy Aldrete to make guest appearances on this song. Tyler brought the unique sound of the accordion to the song and Amy graced us with her beautiful harmonies! Once again my good friend Nick Garrett-Powell outdid himself on recording and production as well as playing bass and shaker. This song is based mostly on 1 Peter 1:18-19:

"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."

As well as Isaiah 1:18:

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

The bridge is taken from the traditional hymn, "Nothing But The Blood", by Robert Lowry, 1876.

I'm sure all mom's and even some dad's can related to this song. A true story of one of my best socks became lost after doing laundry.
