'Amazing' - Pastor Mike Jr (Official Music Video)

You have to listen to this great song called ‘Amazing’ by Pastor Mike Jr. and let the lyrics encourage you today!

“I remember when, I remember, I remember when he saved my life
Everything before that was just a blur, I was wild, living real foul, I just weren't right
I remember when, I remember, I remember when he changed my name
From sick to healed, from broke to blessed
Now I can testify that I'll never be the same (never be same)”

This powerful song is an inspirational cover of Gnarles Barkley’s song ‘Crazy.’ And in the song ‘Amazing’ by Pastor Mike Jr., people will be reminded of God’s amazing goodness and love.

The song ‘Amazing’ was a hit, and Pastor Mike Jr. shares his thoughts about the reception of his song. “I’ll never take moments like this for granted! To be a new artist, independent, and have three consecutive #1 singles is unprecedented!

It’s proof God is doing the impossible!” he says. “I’m grateful for my brother Jevon Hill producing it, and Adia Andrews co-writing it with me. None of this would have been possible without you two.”

In the music video, Pastor Mike Jr. is singing in an empty building with a talented choir singing and dancing around him. They are all praising the name of our Heavenly Father, and it is a very uplifting thing to see.

“This song is truly my testimony of how amazing my God is!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“I cried as soon as I heard the first verse. Jesus I thank you!” writes another person online.

This song is sure to uplift you as you listen to it today! May you be blessed by the beautiful music and message.

‘My Life’ Branan Murphy

In the world today, many people are hurting and struggling with a variety of things. Due to a past sin or mistake, some may believe they are beyond saving, unworthy of being cared for or loved. Thankfully, there is One who can turn situations and entire lives around!

Branan Murphy’s song “My Life” is about God's redeeming power and grace. The song’s first verse mentions and acknowledges people who, for whatever reason, believe they are beyond saving. The singer states that given his life, he knows he was “an unlikely candidate” and “never deserved such grace.”

God can and does come into our lives, change us and mend broken relationships! He can completely change bleak and depressing situations that are seemingly without hope.

The song also mentions words do fall short of telling others of the work God has done or is doing. The best way to understand a change is to view it yourself. That is exactly what the songwriter does for anyone who questions what may have happened to him. He tells people to look at his life in order to see the changes God has made.

“I could tell you a thousand times
But if you really wanna see redemption
Take a look at my life”

Later in the song, the singer states God’s love and grace are available to all, even those who feel that “God’s love could never find” them. The singer again uses himself as an example. Don’t believe that God can save or love you? Well, take a look at the changes in his life, the lyrics state.

No one is perfect. Romans 3:23 reads, “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” Despite our sins and shame, God is still working today, changing lives!

Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

‘Peace Be Still’ Hope Darst

Fear, unfortunately, is a powerful emotion. It can keep people from reaching their full potential, from being all God has planned and intended for them. Thankfully, God and the faith and peace He provides are also powerful, able to overcome doubt and fear.

Mark chapter 4 mentions an instance in which the disciples were fearful, despite having Jesus alongside them in their boat. They were afraid of the storm and of drowning in the sea. Jesus was awakened by his disciples and calmed the wind and the waters by simply saying, “Peace, be still.” He then admonished them for their lack of faith.

In “Peace Be Still,” Hope Darst uses Jesus’ words from Mark 4 to sing about not being afraid when coming up against life’s many storms. Instead of having worry and anxiety like the disciples, Hope wishes to rely upon the Lord’s Word and direction.

In the song’s chorus, she mentions that all she needs is for the Lord to command and she will act.

“Say the word and I will
Set my feet upon the sea
Till I’m dancing in the deep”

Later in the song, Hope sings that she will not be afraid because what has come up against her is only waves. She adds that He is greater and more powerful than what is opposing her. Acting in such a way requires a fair amount of strength of faith, which Hope also asks for in the song.

“Peace Be Still” is a beautiful song about overcoming fear and doubt and having enough faith in Christ that no matter what we encounter in life, we will be victorious.

Be sure to give this delightful and truth-filled song a listen!

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.”

‘You Say’ Cover by Young Girl, Bree Asidor

Many situations and circumstances in life will leave people with questions and doubts. Even Christians, during and after life’s storms, may question their self-worth and whether God is still in control. One song voices these familiar doubts and then also provides a satisfying answer.

Standing alone in the middle of a meadow, Bree Asidor covers Lauren Daigle’s smash hit, “You Say.” In the video for the cover of “You Say,” Bree plays the keyboard while also adding the song’s vocals.

The song’s first verse details the current state of mind of the songwriter and the doubts and lies that have crept in. In the second verse, the songwriter asks whether they are more than just the highs and the lows they have experienced. They need confirmation from God that they are worth more than that.

The song's chorus states that even when the songwriter feels weak, unloved and as if they fall short of some external standard, God is still there, working and that is all the confirmation they need.

“You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say I am Yours”

Near the end of the song, the songwriter makes a decision. They are giving God control of their life. All they are – every failure and victory – is being laid at His feet.

The beautiful lyrics perfectly illustrate how a majority of the population feel at any given time. People often experience feelings of weakness, loneliness, despair and being unworthy of love. However, as the song mentions, all that thinking is in error. God still loves us; he still cares and will not let us down in our time of need. He is always faithful!

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.”

'Yes He Lives' - Hannah Hobbs

You have to check out this powerful song called ‘Yes He Lives’ by Hannah Hobbs. The lyrics will remind you of the beauty and love of God.

“On a hill for sinners, His body broken, a King forsaken as He hung on that cross
The veil in pieces, the temple shaken, they mourned the Saviour, but it wasn’t for long
Oh, He lives, He’s risen from the grave, victorious our Saviour reigns, oh yes, He reigns
He rose, the stone is rolled away, forever our Redeemer lives, oh yes He lives”

The new album from Hannah Hobbs is called Sundown, and it features this song ‘Yes He Lives’ on it. This most recent project was recorded during an intimate night of worship where Hannah gathered friends and family in Australia from all walks of life to praise God together with songs from her solo debut album.

“The heartbeat behind this project was to carve out some space to worship and rest in the presence of God,” shared Hannah. “The word Sabbath comes to us from the Hebrew word ‘Shabbat’ literally meaning to stop or to rest.

The Sabbath is typically observed from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. A day of worship, rest, and an effort to eliminate distractions and draw near to God. My hope is that this project will become a ‘sundown’ moment for people. An open door, signifying us stepping into a time of rest and refreshing in God’s presence.”

Hannah continued: “‘Yes He Lives’ is the kind of song that will lift your spirits as you sing along to it – reminding you of the love and power of God. My prayer is that this song would be a great reminder to people of the victorious love that we find in Christ.”

What a powerful message and wonderful song! May it leave you encouraged today.

‘Holy Forever’ by Jenn Johnson

Humanity has hope because of the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. John 3:16 perfectly captures this: “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Christ died on the cross and rose again, winning victory over sin and death. Jenn Johnson’s song “Holy Forever” recognizes and celebrates the power in the name of Jesus because of His sacrifice all those years ago.

The song’s first verse mentions that everyone, those who believe and all those who have passed away, will sing to the holy Lamb of God.

The song’s chorus really hammers home the point about the power in the name of Jesus. There is no power, king or position on earth more deserving of such honor and praise, the lyrics mention.

“Your Name is the highest, Your Name is the greatest
Your Name stands above them all
All thrones and dominions, all powers and positions”

Christ's act of love for all humanity did, is and will continue to change lives. In response, as the song states, all should bow down and worship, exclaiming “Holy Forever.”

What a beautifully written and performed song with a wonderful and affirming message about the love and sacrifice of Christ! He is more than worthy of all our praise and our worship.

The song’s message and sound is a treat for the ears! But the video is also gorgeous. The talented musicians perform in a storybook-like setting, surrounded by massive trees and other plants and bushes.

Danny Gokey - Stay Strong

Listen to Danny Gokey sing “Stay Strong.”

Unfortunately, there will be periods of hurt, heartbreak and difficulty. These times will cause doubts to creep in and may even test your faith.

Danny Gokey’s song “Stay Strong” is about holding onto the belief and faith in God that He is in control and that He is still working even when there appears to be little evidence.

The first verse of Danny’s song mentions that he has been praying for a miracle. He’s ready for God to act and even questions the Lord about His timeline. Danny wants God to take care of the situation.

However, Danny, in the song’s chorus, sings that even though things are not moving as swiftly as he’d like, he knows God is still in control. He says that while his present situation may have dampened his hope, his faith in God’s ability to act and work miracles remains strong.

“But if I never see the promise on this side of the grave
My hope might be shaken but my faith will never break
Because I know the day is coming when You’ll make right all of the wrong”

Praise God!

The song’s second verse points out that despite the doubt and questions that have arisen, Danny is holding onto the peace from the Lord. He also sings that even if he lost all his worldly possessions and only had God, he would still have everything.

What a powerful song and a beautiful message about faith and how God will work everything out according to His plan and His timeline. He is still working even when the evidence may be hard to find at times.

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Housefires - I Have Decided (Banner)

Watch Housefires perform “I Have Decided (Banner)”.

Following Jesus Christ and His Word and commands is a conscious decision. Like any other decision in life, it involves a commitment to hold on even when times are tough and the future appears uncertain.

The choice to follow Christ involves commitment and faith, and Jesus said it must be made continually, even daily. In Luke 9:23, Jesus told his disciples, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

In “I Have Decided (Banner)” by the Housefires, the musicians sing about their decision to follow Jesus Christ for the rest of their life.

The song about their choice to follow Christ begins by alerting listeners that their decision is final. They are never turning back to their previous life and way of thinking.

In the song's first half, the singer states many times how committed they are to their decision to follow Christ. He is the only one the musicians will show allegiance to, by raising only His banner and anthem.

“There’s only one banner I’m gonna raise
I have decided
There’s only one anthem I’m gonna say”

The song is short and sweet and only involves a handful of words. However, the song, with its repetitive lyrics, conveys a powerful message. Christ is the one, without question, that they are committed to following. It doesn’t matter how tough life gets; they are completely on board with Jesus.

What a beautiful song!

The name, lyrics and message in the Housefires' song are like the beloved old hymn: “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” That hymn also told about the decision and commitment to follow Christ, even when others may not.

Deuteronomy 5:33 “Go on walking in the way ordered for you by the Lord your God, so that life may be yours and it may be well for you, and your days may be long in the land of your heritage.”
