At the early age of 15, Veanka Howard has already lived in 100 different foster homes, never having a place to call home or people to call family. That is, until God lead her to a special woman that became her mother and biggest fan. To her mother's encouragement, Veanka took her singing talent to the big stage and by the end of her audition she had everyone in tears, rooting for her. She is an absolute inspiration!!
Gladys has been stricken with the awful disease of Dementia, which has left her nonvocal and unresponsive for years. That is until her guardian angel started working with her. Showing her love and attention, Naomi was able to move Gladys so deeply by singing Gospel songs to her, that she came out of her Dementia briefly. It's an absolutely amazing thing to witness!

Neal E. Boyd grew up poor with his brother and his single mother, but he knew that despite it all, his mother worked incredibly hard to make sure they had what they need. To honor her and the sacrifices she made for them, he dedicated an emotional and stunning opera performance to her. He could barely get through the audition but did such an amazing job, he ended up WINNING that year!
