Let us never forget that Jesus Christ was subjected to false and unjust arrest. * Evidence of false arrests is everywhere on YouTube. But here on GodTube, we must ask ourselves this question: How can we bring our Christian values into that difficult situation? * One woman may have found the answer: Forgiveness. * Faced with the false and unjust arrest of her beloved husband, this Christian woman (an animal lover, as we see in the video) chose to forgive the local sheriff. But out of concern that false arrest could happen to others in her community, she also reported the arrest to her fellow citizens, to local voters, and to higher law enforcement agencies as a violation of her husband's rights as an American. * Unfortunately, the sheriff was just re-elected. "I'm praying for him," she says. * Let's show our support for this family by sharing this video with our friends, neighbors, family members, and congregations. This is a wonderful song by Ray Boltz called "Honor To Serve." It's based on the story of Jeremiah Denton who was a prisoner of war in North Vietnam from 1965-1973. I made a video for the song back in 2002 when I was just learning how to make YouTube videos. It wasn't really very good. So now that I have learned a little bit more I thought I'd give it another shot, especially as we are nearing Veterans Day.
