Acoustic Rendition Of 'Good Good Father'

Chris Tomlin's worship song 'Good Good Father' swept the nation. Now, it's become one of the most iconic Christian songs and a favorite for other artists to cover. Powerful worship songs like 'Good Good Father' only come along once in a lifetime, so it's no wonder everyone enjoys singing it out loud. Today, the talented vocals of Lydia Shaw from Bethel Music Worship is singing this song and it's absolutely beautiful. God has truly given us so many blessings in this life and we give thanks to Him each and every day. God made the ultimate sacrifice for us when He sent His only Son to Earth to die for our sins. Because of this gift, we are now forgiven and free to live out our days in Heaven above. This amazing sacrifice paved the way to our salvation. This song is the perfect way to give praise to His name. Can I get an amen?

Adorable Puppies Teach Lesson On Generosity

Generosity is one of the most important attributes we can possess. And that's exactly what this organization set out to showcase. A philanthropic organization wanted to do a study on kindness and generosity and they used money and puppies to do it. The objective was to see what encourages people to be generous to one another. And I must say, this was the most adorable way to teach this lesson. There was a room with a pin full of puppies that were made available for people to play with. Individual groups of people were invited to cuddle and play with the puppies for 5 minutes. As soon as the door was opened for them to come in, everyone was so excited to jump in the pin. The puppies were so cute and fluffy! When their 5 minutes were up, a facilitator explained that in addition to what they were already being compensated for, they had an opportunity to keep an additional $50 or let someone else come in and play with the puppies for 5 minutes also. He explained that the people before them had the same offer, but that person chose to leave the $50 so that someone else can play with the puppies. Some people quickly passed on the $50. Others hesitated but 24 out of 25 of the people gave the fifty dollars back. The puppies gave them so much joy and happiness. They wanted others to share in the joy of playing with the puppies. What a powerful study.

Priest Sings 'Everybody Hurts' For Talent Audition

Father Ray Kelly went viral a few years ago when a video of him singing at a wedding was viewed millions of times. Now, this priest is taking his vocal skills to the big stage as he auditions for Britain's Got Talent. Father Kelly chose to perform R.E.M’s ‘Everybody Hurts’ because, as a minister of faith, he felt that he could relate to it. Everybody goes through tough times in their lives but it's how we move forward that truly matters. And as soon as Father Kelly started to sing, I knew this performance was going to be amazing. The very first note sent chills right up my spine. There's no doubt that Father Kelly has a God-given talent. This 64-year-old priest definitely has a voice and he's letting the whole world hear it. After this performance, there's no question that he's moving on to the next round. He even got a thumbs up from Simon. I can't wait to hear what he sings next!

Faithful Woman Has Baby At Age 53

Kim was 53-years-old when she gave birth to her first child. This may seem older than most, but when you hear her story, you will know it was God's perfect timing. Kim had relationships but it was just never the right time to have a baby. She began to get depressed because she was the last of her single friends and she so badly wanted to be a mother. She recalls walking past maternity stores, just longing to be able to go in and buy something she needed. People would ask her if something was wrong with her because she was not married and did not have a family of her own. But that all changed when she met the love of her life, Nova. She and Nova got married when she was 48 years old. He shared her desire to have a baby and he really wanted to try for a child that shared their same DNA. So they thought that maybe surrogacy would be the best option for them. When Kim went to the doctor to see the possibilities, her doctor shockingly encouraged her to get pregnant! All she needed was a donor egg. She thought that it would be impossible for her to have a baby at her age but it gave her so much faith when she heard that she could do it. Despite the risks, she refused to be fearful, and to her pleasant surprise, she got pregnant on her first round! What a huge blessing that was for her and her husband. Kim just knew this was God plan and she was in a season of joy! What a beautiful story.

Rousing Rendition Of 'America The Beautiful'

One of the most beautiful things we can hear is something honoring our country through song. There have been so many musical compositions over the years that give glory to our country but none is more iconic than 'America The Beautiful.' Today, Gary Edwards is stepping onto The Voice stage and giving it his all. This live playoff performance was truly spectacular and you can feel his passion through every note. Gary is definitely blessed with some amazing vocals and I'm so glad that he is following his dreams on The Voice. And to hear him sing for our country is even better. What a soul-stirring rendition of this classic song. Who else had to stand up and sing along?

2 Strangers On A Plane Become Family

A divine connection was made when two complete strangers were sitting next to each other on their flight to Raleigh. Samantha Snipes was trying to leave town to get away from an abusive relationship. She was 8-months pregnant and scared because she missed her connecting flight. Her emotions were all over the place, but thankfully she was able to book another flight to get away. Still, Samantha was very anxious and nervous when she boarded the plane. And Temple Phipps, the lady who she sat next to noticed how nervous she was. She asked her what was wrong and Samantha told her everything. She also included that she was looking for someone to adopt her baby. Temple thought that her situation was such a coincidence because she'd been really wanting to adopt a baby, but adoption agencies were turning her down because she is a divorcee. The two women connected almost immediately and they exchanged numbers when they parted ways. But that was not the last time they saw each other. Samantha was still in Raleigh when she gave birth to her baby boy. He was born just three days after she met Temple and Temple was one of the first people she called when she was in the hospital. She asked if Temple wanted to come see her and the baby in the hospital. Of course, Temple went to visit them, but she did not expect what happened next. After seeing Temple hold the baby boy, she asked if Temple wanted to be his mother. That was an offer Temple could not turn down. She not only developed a connection with the baby, but she and Samantha became family too. What an incredible story!

A Cappella Group Leaves The Crowd Laughing

I've seen a lot of different a cappella performances over the years, but this group of young men truly outdid themselves. The UC Men's Octet recently came together to perform at a showcase at the University of California, Berkeley. At first, I thought it was going to be a regular number but I had no idea I would be laughing so much through the entire thing. From the very first note, I knew that this was going to be super entertaining and I was not wrong. Just watch as the men go through an assortment of hilarious songs mixed with even funnier choreography. I know it must've taken a lot of time and effort to put all of this together but they pulled it off perfectly. Not to mention the talented voices on all of these men. What an unforgettable number!

Today, this inspiring choir is taking their vocal skills and message all the way to the Britian's Got Talent stage. And their powerful rendition of 'Rise Up' will truly blow you away. Even the crowd starts clapping along with this incredible performance. There is so much talent and soul in this song that it's nearly impossible not to smile as this group. And the judges feel the exact same way. I'm so glad The B-Positive Choir is moving on to the next round. Who is excited to see what they do next?
