Escaping Egypt is about the nation of Israel finding freedom & starting their journey to the "Promised Land" This was at the very first "Passover" which was held on their very first "New Years Eve"... & it turned out to be quite a celebration then & ever since. As members of the Body of Christ we celebrate this also at Easter, and even more often when we participate in "The Lords Supper" a remembrance & celebration of that New Years Eve, before Jesus bore the sin of the whole world.
In His Word, God makes it very clear that those who truly follow Christ will be persecuted. Welcome to life! What happened to the "body of Christ" when he walked the earth will happen now to his spiritual Body, the Church. So how are we to deal with this kind of suffering? With the mindset that Jesus Christ had. And he will help us do just that, such that we can have joy and peace even now, and earn glorious rewards for the future.
The Book of Ruth is a wonderful gem in the Old Testament. This teaching delves into how the book displays the need to know, understand, and act on the written Word of God.

We began this week looking at the final chapter of the epistle of Paul to the fledgling church at Rome. In this final chapter Paul asks for every hospitality to be extended to those with whom he has sent this letter. Those who accompanied the epistle bore witness to the authorship of the document and their witness was validated by the fact that some of those bringing the letter were themselves former members of the assembly at Rome.
The Bible speaks of perilous times... with recent events there is a spiritual war going on. Pastor Jeff shares how we must fight and who we are fighting against. It's not people. For more information on the ministry visit www.ongoodground.org.
Can rebellion and anti-authoritarian music be redeemed? This morning we look at punk rock chords, choruses, and discord in the world and more surprisingly in the pages of Scripture.

“Just at that time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, "Go away, leave here, for Herod wants to kill You." He said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I reach my goal.'” Jesus in Luke 13:31-32, NIV
Presented by Pastor Ken Raymes from Metro Christian Center in Evansville, Indiana. The kids put various items in a box, and Pastor Raymes picks an item out of the box, and gives a kids' sermon based on that item.
