Harvard graduate and Facebook CEO, Sheryl Sandberg is making headlines with her unconventional approach to women and business. The businesswoman and mother of two speaks out to empower women to rally together and take responsibility for becoming a stronger presence in the workforce. According to critics, Sandberg's new book "Lean in: Women, Work and the Will to Lead" does not take into account the average woman and those that struggle to balance the roles of businesswoman, mother, and wife. According to an ABC News report, "Among the hottest activities on social media these days is Instagram's beauty contests, where young girls go head-to-head in cyber beauty pageants online and on their phones, allowing anyone, even complete strangers, to vote for who is the prettiest"

Self-esteem for adolescent girls is unlike any other generation. So when you compare to teenage girls 30 or 40 years ago, to this millennial generation, it is a very difficult comparison.

Among adolescent girls, negative self-esteem, body dissatisfaction, poor socialization skills, and oversexualization account for a large percentage of diagnosed cases of major depressive disorder.

Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. How will God fairly judge those people who never hear the truth of His Word? This teaching suggests that the Golden Rule, and its converse, answer that age old question. Jesus succinctly gave us a most practical key to enjoying life: do unto others what you would have them do to you, from which we can extrapolate: don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you.
