Mark 11:1-18

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, 2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. 3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this?

Romans 8:7-16

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies . . .

The Said Need of Jesus

Sacramental - Big Theological Words

Pastor Rich does another instalment in our Big Theological Words series: Sacramental. Sacraments have often been described as visible signs of invisible realities. Usually we name Eucharist and Baptism as "sacraments," but can our whole lives be sacramental? The word "sacrament" doesn't show up in Scripture, but a related word is "sacrifice.

Are We Really Saved by Faith Alone?

Is it faith alone that saves us, or is there something more? This video takes a look a works, which is something that many people like to exclude from salvation and the Christian life. The truth is that we all have to do something to get salvation. Repenting is a work if you really want to get technical about it. Video has some examples of Jesus' own words and some people who did indeed "do something." One person chose not to do something, but Jesus still stated that he required it.
