1 Thessalonians 2:1-10

(1) For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain: (2) But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. (3) For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: (4) But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. (5) For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: (6) Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. (7) But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: (8) So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

Living A Blessed Life Pt. 3 Who is First?

Pastor Mike O'Mire preaches about who should come first when it comes to giving, sacrificing and tithing. He shows us in scripture how having things in the right order brings protection and provision.

David's Sermon series

Put the Kingdom of God first - Kingdom work is above on everything.

The Poor are God's people!

Who is “The Poor”? who do you believe is poor people? I used to believe I was poor because I didn’t go to college or because my family wasn’t at the right place at the right time or worse of all because I was black. Many people who don’t have Money are following God; many of them have close relationships with Jesus Christ; and would rather go broke than to sin and stray from him. I want to read to you Zachariah 7:10 And oppress not the Widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor, and let none of you imagine Evil against his brother in your heart. Many people all over this planet are poor because they decided to stop Sinning and started following Jesus. This world oppresses many of us financially simply because we have turned away from the world and started following Jesus in complete obedience. I also want to read to you the very next verses Zachariah 7:11-7:12 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. 7:12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words of which the LORD of host hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of host. Many “Poor People” are that way because we refuse to take advantage of people. Many people are rich because they are willing to rob, steal, and kill for monetary gain.

Sinners Prayer

The Sinners Prayer. Have someone said to you a SINNERS prayer? Do you believe that it alone can save a person’s soul? Many people believe that a pastor or a minister has the power to save their soul simply by saying a prayer to them; this is a collective belief and a GRAVE MISCONSEPTION. If your pastor or minister believes you are saved because of a SINNERS prayer he or she is MISLEADING YOU, because they don’t have the power to give you the Holy Spirit only Jesus Christ can give you the Holy Spirit. Only JESUS CHRIST CAN SAVE YOU AND IF HE COMES AND SAVES YOU HE GIVES YOU THE HOLY SPIRIT THUS WEANING YOU OFF OF SIN. So… what does this mean? Many pastors and ministers are not lead by The Holy Spirit. A scripture some people use to make the sinner prayer valid is—Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you are following Jesus with all your heart you are not a wilful sinner. People saying a sinner’s prayer thinking they are saved, this prayer is not valid in the eyes of Jesus. You do not get a free pass for your sins after receiving the knowledge of the truth I want to read to you Hebrews 10:26-10:27. For if we Sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no sacrifice for SINS, 10:27 and it goes on to say. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Jesus Christ is not a bible or Church

Jesus is not a BIBLE or CHURCH- The Lord is not a book or building; Jesus Christ is GOD and very much alive. The Holy Bible has words Jesus spoke and the Testimony of him during his time on earth. Lord Jesus is an all seeing all knowing being not the Holy Bible or a Congregation of people in a building. You can talk to Jesus all the time through prayer, he can hear every word you speak; if you start a serious relationship with him The Lord Jesus will speak to you. SIN separates us from him, if you want freedom and salvation from the bondage of your SINS seek Jesus seriously and he will talk to you personally. Jesus Christ is Lord and God not a BOOK, BUILDING or Congregation. You can find Jesus at Home in prayer. SEEK JESUS at HOME. Ask him for the Holy Spirit, he can hear you! Seek Jesus in prayer.

Separate and live!

SEPARATE and Live! If you want to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ and you want to have Eternal Life you must be willing to SEPARATE from people who are living for SIN. It doesn’t matter who the people are you recognize as people who are not seeking God Jesus; it could be anyone a family member a close friend. If you want to be saved by Jesus you must SEPARATE from Sinful people. Just being around sinners will keep you from God. I want to read to you proverbs 13:20 and 13:21 he that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. 13:21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed. When Jesus comes into your life it is lonely; you will have to lay down your life and give it to Jesus. If you are keeping people around you who are out of control, you won’t find your way to Jesus. Let these people go they are being prepared as I speak for destruction; don’t let that be you, come to Jesus and leave all people behind that don’t love you, let go of people who don’t love you enough to stay away from you if you are trying to find God. SEPARATE, pray and repent. The company you keep may someday end up in hell; escape from them and Live. Seek Jesus in prayer.

Jesus Christ is not Christianity.

The Lord Jesus Christ is not Christianity. The moment some people hear the name Jesus Christ they immediately think of a word (Christianity); Lord Jesus Christ our Savior is not a WORD; and we don’t have to call ourselves Christians to follow Jesus Christ. Christianity (is) a WORD; and it is used to describe (a group of people) that follow Jesus Christ. Christian is a WORD used to describe (a person) who follows Jesus Christ; you can follow Jesus and you don’t have to call yourself anything. Your relationship with Lord Jesus Christ is nobody’s business but yours. You don’t need anybody’s permission to talk to him; Not a Pastor, Minister or Church (NOBODY) because Nobody will stand with you before him during judgment time. Jesus Christ is GOD of everything he is not a religion, he is your savior if you decide to follow him or not. You can pray to Jesus and acknowledge him as your Savior without being religious or being called a Christian or being associated with Christianity in any way; again you can praise JESUS CHRIST without being religious, or being called a Christian or being involved with Christianity in any way; these are words not Jesus Christ. When you accept Jesus Christ he lives within you; he lives in your heart. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and king of everything not a religion or a WORD. Don’t let WORDS like Religion-Christianity or Christian stop you from having a relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. Talk directly with Jesus in prayer!
