The classic account of David prevailing over Goliath has been metaphorically immortalized not only in sports, but also in many seemingly impossible situations in life. Whatever the "Goliath" in your life, you can prevail over it if you build your vision of God to where David's was. When he compared Goliath to the living God he knew, the Big G became a little pipsqueak.

Going into battle with the advance knowledge of certain victory is a sure way to motivate the troupes to fight their best and win! God promised David that he and his men would recover all they had lost. They had to fight for that recovery, but the Lord said it was assured, "without fail!" This is a wonderful and inspirational message that will encourage your faith tremendously.
