Speak My Word: A Tree and Its Fruit - The Daily Pulse (Wednesday, June 10, 2015): “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them..." Matthew 7:15-23 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Tuesday, June 9, 2015): “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Matthew 7:14-15 (NIV)
You can have a powerful, unique, and dramatic conversion experience and STILL be blind as a bat! Waiting on God to send us the right leadership and teacher is as important as finding the Lord to begin with. Saul's (Apostle Paul) conversion experience is an example of one's seeing Jesus only to walk away blind!
The Daily Pulse (Monday, June 8, 2015): “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened..." Matthew 7:7-12 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Sunday, June 7, 2015): “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you..." Matthew 7:1-6 (NIV)
In the Book of Acts, even those who scoffed at Christianity said that the early Church "turned the world upside down." How did they do that? Primarily by preaching "Jesus and the resurrection." This teaching gives you four reasons why you will see more fruit if you preach Christ rather than "God."
The Daily Pulse (Saturday, June 6, 2015): “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?" Matthew 6:25-34 (NIV)
This week we continue our ongoing walk through the Book of Romans. We covered chapter 15, verses 14-19. Paul speaks of his unique calling as the Apostle to the Gentiles and the need for personal sanctification wrought by the Holy Ghost. (SESS 55 - CH 15:14-19) HD
