Southside Baptist Church July 26, 2015 - Morning Service Psalm 150
Summary: As we bring closure to our series on worship, what consider what it means to have meaning and purpose behind our worship, and we warn against letting our "worship" become empty and cliche.
The Daily Pulse (Tuesday, July 28, 2015): I know, Lord, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. Psalm 119:75 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Monday, July 27, 2015): Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)
The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated to us that some battles are won by the One who who dies and not the one who is left standing! If believers are to know the power and glory of God we MUST first learn to yield our wills to God and submit ourselves to death. Only then will we win! ( The hotel where we have been having church somehow did not have a room for us to meet in this Sunday, so we hastily moved to the Denny's - meeting room - where we used to conduct our Tuesday evening Bible Studies.)
The Book of Ruth is a wonderful gem in the Old Testament. This teaching delves into how the book displays the need to know, understand, and act on the written Word of God. [email protected]
Have you ever been nailed by a God-inspired typo? I, your friendly "Chosen Weasel," have been. Don't laugh too hard, because you are also a weasel, thanks to the sinful Adamic nature you inherited from the First Weasel. The Good News is that Jesus Christ made it possible for us to overcome our inherent shuck-and-jive tendencies. Weasels, unite and conquer! [07/03/2010 9:48]
The Daily Pulse (Friday, July 24, 2015): “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:1-6 (NIV)

The Daily Pulse (Thursday, July 23, 2015): For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. James 2:10 (NIV)
What we have faith and belief in doesn't look like what we receive in the promise, so it takes courage to attain the promise and understand what we've attained.
Southside Baptist Church July 19, 2015 - Morning Service Acts 5:1-11

Southside Baptist Church July 12, 2015 - Morning Service Philippians 4:4-9
Summary: As we continue to explore what it means to worship, we take some time to examine the role of prayer and meditation in expressing our worship to God.
The Daily Pulse (Tuesday, July 22, 2015): know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16 (NIV)
