I met this person, who is now my good friend, when he was homeless and sleeping in dumpsters . . . and also while I was a low place in my life, myself. I was able to help him climb out of the place he was in, and I am pretty sure the Lord also planned for that timing to teach me a some things as well.
He is in such a better place now. Taking care of his grandkids and building a life for him and his family. I am also in a way better place and my rocky relationship with him (at the time) was all part of God's plan for both of us.
Jesus is faithful but He doesn't make things easy for us. I know, from climbing out of my own difficult place, that He just barely makes it possible for us, while He walks with us to encourage us and build us up in all the ways He knows we need to, so we will be able to maintain the life He is leading us toward.
