Philippians 4:10-14 10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. 2017 09 10 Randall Easter FBC Briar
Philippians 3:12-16 2017-05-28 Randall Easter - FBC Briar 12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. 16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
As summer ends (2017) and in light of the fires raging across multiple states, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma causing 150 Biillion dollars or more in damages (killing 100+ people), massive earthquakes in Mexico and elsewhere... People are asking whether these events could be the judgment of God.
We will see what the Bible has to say about the judgment of God on American for the wickedness of abortion, "gay marriage", etc., and for our government (deep state) work to undermine Israel and part God's land "for peace".
