This week we will study John 8:31-37. In John 8:31-37, we see that Jesus was still talking to the Jews in the treasury of the temple. But, unlike the last passage we covered, Jesus was talking to the Jews who believed in Him, instead of engaging with the unbelievers. One very difficult thing for believers in Jesus is the question of whether or not we are to be perfect? Can we even be? We will look at this subject here.
Scripture tells us there is nothing new under the sun, but that does not stop our adversary from wrapping the same old lies in shiny new packages. All that glitters is not gold, and those who embrace a new, sanitized look to those things that oppose God's plan and His will for us are in for a very rude surprise. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but soon and very soon.
