Word & Deed Living

Through James, God calls us to walk by faith and demonstrate that through having it displayed through deeds. This message reminds and encourages us to have a Word / Deed Lifestyle.

Reaching into a lost world

The call of every follower of Jesus is to reach into a lost world with love and grace. This sermon helps us understand what Jesus tells us plays an important part in fulfilling his Kingdom mission.

Discovering the Providential God

God is in control of all things. In Him we have life and are sustained for living. This sermon helps us understand the wonder of a Providential God who gives us hope when our world seems out of control.

No Other Truth, Galatians, part 2, C. David Coyle

Part one was No Other Gospel. Part two stresses No Other Truth, for the Word of God is the Word of Truth, from the God of Truth. The Truth sets free, restores, changes and reverses the processes sin has created.

"Are You Salty?"

Salt is an essential seasoning for food and useful as a preservative among other things. God tells us that we have to be the "salt" and "the light of the world" to break down the resistance to His word in this dark and dangerous world around us.

"Go the Extra Mile"

Have you ever felt that you just needed to get back at someone? We should examine our lives and grow in our desire to demonstrate our love for our neighbor, even those who may wish to do us harm.

Sovereign (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Sovereign" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "The Lamb Will Overcome".

In the case of everything created God alone is Sovereign. Having supreme power and authority. He alone is the great I Am. He is absolute and unchanging. He is the Eternal Being. He is self-existent and has no dependence upon any other. He is all sufficient. He is inexhaustible. He is eternal, unchangeable, always the same, yesterday, today and forever. He is faithful and true to all of His promises. He is not a man that he should lie. He is God and there is none beside Him. He is above and overall. Every dissenting opinion, rebellion, and revolution against this is pride. The iniquity of all those found in those who refuse to allow God to rule over them are full of wickedness. Jesus taught that obedience to God’s Word is the source of eternal life. If one wants to escape the wrath of God is through faith in Jesus Christ. Noah was a man who moved in obedience to God wanting to escape the deluge that was about to come. It is the same for all today. Only faith in Jesus Christ will save us from the punishment that is coming upon the prideful world. Jesus said that all who keep His Word will not face death. God must become the highest verdict! We cannot hide behind the title of “Christian” the justice of God demands a response! Will you humble yourself and repent today?

2 of 3 Justified by Faith Romans 5 1-2

Dr. Lindsey discusses how we have peace with God. Our rebellious nature, which was inherited by the fall of Adam, is removed by faith in the sacrifice of the Son of God. Christianity; what does it do for you, or, what has it done to you? A big difference as Dr. Lindsey discusses.

Why Did Jesus Weep; C. David Coyle

John 11:35 is the shortest verse in the English Bible. Just two words, but packed with meaning in the context in which they are found. This is a message about why Jesus may have wept, not the definitive message. But, I hope it will bless you and meet a need for you.

Thirst No More

Jesus spoke to women as well as men. We first see that God's Spirit moved was when he moved over the waters in the beginning (Genesis)

Dinah was defied by Shechem.

Our eyes are too shut to see what God has already have for us. All you need to do is just ask for the Holy Spirit. We need God's Holy Spirit .if we would just come, and just ask. Will your name be found in the tree of life.
Jesus said ... If you believe on me... When you accept the Spirit of God on the inside... Let there be light in the darkness. I am the root and the branch. The bright and morning star.

John 4:1-14
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria. Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well:and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water:Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the

"Change What is in Your Heart"

One’s philosophy is NOT best expressed in words. It is expressed in the choices one makes.” This quote from Eleanor Roosevelt makes a powerful and sobering point. Sometimes the choices we make are based on convenience rather than conviction. They may be an expression of our fears more than our faith. The Bible says, “I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life. (Deut.30:19). Big or small, we all have choices to make each day that will either help or hinder our relationship with God. Do you recognize those moments when they are happening? Ask God this week for eyes open to the spiritual significance of the choices you will be faced with. Ask Him also for wisdom to know what is right and strength to choose what is best.

The Twins; Jacob & Esau - C. David Coyle

Character is something that will tell all about us, good or bad. Good character has to be developed and usually that means trials in our lives. This is the story of trials that which led, eventually, to good character.
