Trio Of Men Perform ‘Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing’

Three unbelievably talented musicians share their gift for creating pleasant sounds with an instrumental performance of the beloved hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.”

There is a reason why the same old hymns are still played in churches and performed by musicians. Songs like “How Great Thou Art,” "Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Amazing Grace” are all so beautifully written and eloquently praise and worship the Lord.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the group Simply Three plays the hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” None of the musicians in the video sing a word. Instead, they let their fingers do the talking. They nimbly and expertly play their instruments, providing a powerful, moving and thoroughly enjoyable rendition of the hymn.

“Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Calls for songs of loudest praise”

Simply Three’s version of the old church hymn is more than worthy of a few listens. Their playing is fantastic, giving it an almost rock-and-roll feel and sound.

In addition to the wonderfully pleasant sounds, the video is also a treat visually. The video is absolutely gorgeous, making full use of the landscape and the sunlight. Viewers are given wide, sweeping views of expansive mountain ranges, vast deserts and crystal blue waters.

Several others who commented on Simply Three’s video mentioned how they adored the group's rendition of the hymn and the magnificent views captured in the clip.

“Love it! Love the up-tempo..Love the scenery..my goodness, where was this film with the river? So beautiful,” one person wrote.

“I love this! Beautiful song, it’s so relaxing and giving me joy. And those views? So stunning,” someone else added.

“Gorgeous video, guys!” another YouTube viewer posted.

American Idol’s Megan Danielle Worships The Lord With ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’

A former American Idol contestant has turned in another dazzling performance as she sang about the wonder, power and righteousness of the Lord.

This past season of American Idol was chock full of talent. There were dozens of outstanding performances and 10 or so contestants who could have easily taken the top spot. However, Iam Tongi, from his first appearance on the program, set himself apart from everyone else. He continually did so throughout the season and was eventually crowned the winner of American Idol

But there was one contestant who always gave Iam a run for his money, Megan Danielle. Megan, in her every appearance on the show, sang songs of praise and worship. Thanks to her beautiful voice, the young woman made it to the second spot, becoming the runner-up.

Now, Megan is back. In a video posted on YouTube, she is once again singing about the Lord, His faithfulness and His purpose for her life. Megan gives a stunning rendition of “Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail).”

Megan, before her performance, mentions that the song serves as a reminder of why the Lord placed her where He did.

“You know, I love this song because here lately, I’ve been doubting who I am, and I forget why God put me here,” she says. “And this is just a reminder.”

She then delivers a stunning, jaw-dropping cover of the popular Hillsong UNITED hit.

“Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail, and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed, and You won’t start now”

The young woman, while singing about God’s unending grace and love, shows why she impressed millions and captured so many votes on American Idol.

While she may have doubts about her musical future, anyone who hears her voice does not. Megan is a supremely talented musician. She has a bright future, singing about the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord.

SCRIPTURE SONG

'Take It To The Cross' Katy Nichole New York Sessions

Listen to this upbeat, foot-tapping song titled, ‘Take It To The Cross’ by Katy Nichole in New York Sessions.

“You’ve spent so many sleepless nights. Worries racin’ through your mind.
You’re breakin’, is your soul achin’. You’ve got all this shame inside.
The kind that people try to hide. You’re hurtin’, are you searchin’
Well, I know there’s a place you can lay all your burdens down.”

The first verse of the song captures our daily troubles of adulting and trying to get ahead in the rat race of life. But Katy’s music turns our heads away from our problems and puts our eyes squarely on the cross with a reminder of how we can take our burdens to our savior.

We can lay ourselves at the feet of our “Mercy Giver.” She reminds us God will wash our sins away in Jesus’ name. Along with washing our sins away, God will break the chains holding us back. All we have to do is take it to the cross.

It’s such a simple concept, but we lose sight of it when we’re faced with the daily realities of life. Parenting, bills, health struggles, relationship challenges, and laundry. Laundry is never done! But the Lord knows and sees our lives. He wants to lift our burdens and replace them with his spiritual joy. I love Katy’s music vibe of southern gospel revival with a hint of country.

What I love even more about her music is Katy takes challenges and trials of her own life and creates music we all can relate to. This 22-year-old has faced congenital scoliosis, depression, and pain, but she stands in victory with God who healed her. She can’t help but sing of his miracles and faithfulness to remind her listeners, to take all your burdens to the cross.

"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it,” Matthew 16:24-25

'Hope of the World' Red Rocks Worship Live

Listen to this incredible message in a song titled, ‘Hope of the World’ by Red Rocks Worship in a live performance. Red Rocks Worship will help distractions fade into the background as your heart comes forth in reverent worship of our king.

“You light the darkest places. Left heaven's throne to chase us.
You are the way, the truth, and life. You heal the deepest heartache.
You walked as love incarnate. You take what's wrong and make it right.”

‘Hope of the World’ threads and weaves God’s truths and his character into every verse of the song. When you close your eyes and lift your hands in praise, it speaks volumes to our heavenly father as he glorifies him for who he is and what he has done. What I love most about this music video is watching hearts turn to Christ in a room filled with people seeking to praise the lord in with earnest hearts.

It’s hard to keep hope in God when we live in a world filled with tragedy and evil. Who doesn’t face uncertainty? You lose your job or retire. Your child doesn’t want to go to church anymore. Your friend stopped being your friend. You’re given an expected diagnosis. So how do we not struggle with the fear of our circumstances? We hope in Jesus. We hope in God because he has good plans for us. We can hope in God because he will fulfill his purpose in us. We can keep hoping in Christ because each day our path towards him grows brighter.

We can hope in Jesus because he is the hope of the world! Let this worship song cultivate the ground in your heart in an abundant seed of hope.

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us,” 1 John 5:13-14

Trey McLaughlin And Choir Sing Soulful Cover Of 'The Blessing'

You have to listen to this beautiful and soulful cover of the song ‘The Blessing’ from Trey McLaughlin and this talented choir.

“The Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you
The Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace, the Lord bless you and keep you
Make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn His face toward you
And give you peace, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen”

This wonderful arrangement of ‘The Blessing’ from Trey McLaughlin and this amazing choir will give you chills! The way all of their voices blend together sounds absolutely heavenly, and it is a joy to hear them worship together.

“Trey, I bet you've no idea how many people need this version of this song right now! You've done it yet again! Thank you, sir! God bless you tremendously!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Unison. Melodies. Harmonies; A true choir. A blessing! Thank you, Trey and choir. May God continue to bless you all,” writes another person online.

‘The Blessing’ was originally written and performed by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes and made popular by Elevation Worship. It is an anthem of encouragement and hope for many Christians, and the lyrics are primarily taken from two passages of Scripture: the priestly blessing of Aaron in Numbers 6:22-27 and the blessings for God's people written in the Mosaic Covenant in Deuteronomy 28:6 and Exodus 33:14.

Trey McLaughlin and this choir do an incredible job singing this prayer of God’s peace and power in times of uncertainty. We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘The Blessing’ and the song was able to bring you some encouragement today.

'What Are We Waiting For' for KING + COUNTRY Official Music Video

Check out the new official music video for the song ‘What Are We Waiting For’ by for KING + COUNTRY.

“Can't be what we can't see, can't speak when we can't breathe, can't dance if we don't
Move our feet. It's a blur tryin' to keep pace. Days are running like they're in a race
Can't move if we're in our own way. I guess the crisis is we've just one life to live
And no one knows what happens next, so what are we waiting for? What are we waiting for?”

This great song is part of for KING + COUNTRY’s new album, also titled What Are You Waiting For. It was released earlier this year after a long period of self-reflection and personal growth for the band during the pandemic. Some of the lessons learned about family, spirituality, and unity are reflected in the messages on the 13-song album.

When it comes to the message of the song ‘What Are We Waiting For,’ the band members of for KING + COUNTRY shared their thoughts.

“So often we deal in statements in life — about ourselves, about God, about others. And yet, if you look at Jesus’ life, He often dealt in questions. We have found it very relieving and exciting to start writing from that place, and ‘What Are We Waiting For?’ stands as just that,” the singers explained.

“One of our favorite lines in the whole song is ‘What are we praying for? What are we saving for? What if we could be the light that no one could ignore?’ We’re proud to ask these questions alongside you, and we hope that you find your answers as we’ve found ours,” they shared.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to and watching the official music video for ‘What Are We Waiting For’ by for KING + COUNTRY today!

“Count 'Em” Brandon Lake Official Music Video

“Count ‘Em,” Brandon Lake’s new official music video, is packed with powerful images and words. You may need a few views to identify and absorb them. You’ll most certainly want to watch it on replay!

The video opens on a set that mimics a dark city street. Brandon sits and leans against a newspaper vending machine as he reads a flaming copy. Inside the case, The Prodigal Times features a front-page story with the heading “The Greatest Miracle Of All Time.” And, for the next four minutes, Brandon Lake enumerates a laundry list of Jesus’s greatest miracles!

The photo under the newspaper’s headline is an empty tomb, but Jesus’s resurrection is only one miracle mentioned in the song’s lyrics. You might want to reflect on each of them cited, testing yourself on the details of the Bible story-not-story referenced.

Brandon himself portrays a miracle in the video. Looking like a stereotypical problem (or prodigal) adult man-child, he is surrounded by a group of black-clad singers. With tattoos and lots of jewelry, Brandon does not look like the choir boy of our old-school imaginations, even though he grew up in church as a pastor’s kid.

With a quick switch to a brightly lit room, Brandon walks to a clothes rack that holds a single white robe. A tag on the robe reads “Miracle Child” underneath a photo of Brandon. He holds the tag a few moments before we are back in the dark.

Four lines of one verse go as follows:

All those funerals You ruined when You made the dead rise
Heaven’s healer using spit and mud
To open blind eyes
You got wonders I can’t number

The artist doesn’t waste a line, referring to “raging seas” and “prophecies,” Goliath and Thomas.

Just past the halfway mark at 2:13, the lights come on briefly, and the volume goes down. There is a tone change, reflective of the conversion, that is dramatized in the video.

He studies the white robe’s tag once again, pockets it, and puts on the robe. And, within the next minute, all of the black-clad singers do likewise. It’s very impactful!

Brandon and friends smile, dance, sing, and rejoice in their fresh, pristine robes for the next 40 seconds—they represent lives changed by Jesus! After all, He’s still doing miracles every day! The newspaper has been consumed by fire, but the true story lives on.

“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” Job 5:9

Young Girl Stands In Front Of Church And Sings ‘I’d Rather Have Jesus’

A young woman performed a song solo about her desire for and the value she places on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while at the front of a beautifully decorated church.

The world is often a dark, lonely and dangerous place. It’s filled with lost people living in sin and shame, pursuing things they believe will lead to happiness. But all the money, fame and high-ranking and prestigious positions will ultimately be meaningless and empty without Jesus Christ. As the verse in Mark 8 says, “For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”

In a clip posted on YouTube, Ashia Asidor performs the classic and beloved song “I’d Rather Have Jesus.” Jesus, the young woman sings, means more to her than anything that the world could possibly offer.

In the song’s first verse, the young vocalist sings that her preference to be led and taught by Jesus Christ is stronger than her want of all the riches in the world. She also sings that if forced to choose between Christ and the finest houses and the best land, her decision would be Him, every time.

“I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold
I’d rather be His than have riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land
I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand”

Later in the song, the little girl mentions how she would forgo worldwide fame and the applause and adulation of others for Jesus. She would trade nothing for her relationship with the Creator of the universe. For the little singer, there is nothing that compares to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, it’s priceless.

At the conclusion of her beautiful performance, the young lady receives a thunderous round of applause from the congregation.

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

'Come Thou Fount (I Will Sing)' Chris Tomlin Lyric Video

Listen to the beautiful song ‘Come Thou Fount (I Will Sing)’ performed by Chris Tomlin and be reminded today of all the blessings that God gives us.

“Come thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace, streams of mercy
Never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise, teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above, praise the mount I'm fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love, here I raise my Ebenezer, hither by Thy help I'm come”

Hymns like ‘Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing’ have withstood the test of time. It was written back in 1758, but church congregations still sing out these lyrics today.

As the hymn says, Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God. Jesus came to us while we were still sinners, not after we had cleaned ourselves up and gotten our acts together. He came right into the middle of our wandering.

The message of the song still resonates with believers, and Chris Tomlin’s rendition continues to remind us that God is by our side. His love and mercy reign down on us each and every day, and what a blessing that is! I am forever grateful that Christ pursued me and poured out His grace upon me, and songs like this are great reminders of that.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Chris Tomlin’s version of ‘Come Thou Fount (I Will Sing)’ today and the song was able to bring you some encouragement. Let us use these words to sing of His many wonders and unconditional love.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

'Because Of You' Anna Golden With Aodhan King Performance Video

Listen to this beautiful performance from Anna Golden with Aodhan King of the song ‘Because Of You.’

“From the moment I rise til I lay my head, You are on my mind, You are the best part
Of every breath, I will spend my life talking about Your faithfulness, because of You
I see a new horizon. Because of You all my fears go quiet, I know You hold the whole world
In Your hands, and this life is worthwhile all because of You. You’re the color in every sunrise”

The song ‘Because Of You’ is the second single from Anna Golden’s new live album titled Church, which is coming out this month. The record has 11 tracks on it, and the songs give a testimony to the power of faith and how Anna Golden refuses to let painful experiences define her life.

In this song, she is joined by Hillsong Worship's Aodhan King. And the lyrics in ‘Because Of You’ encourage listeners who are hurting to reframe their perspective on life, let go of their fears, and find joy in the small things.

“‘Because Of You' is a song written about how beautiful a life with Jesus is. A love song that captures just how stunning your every day is because of the faithfulness, kindness, and consistency of who He is. A reminder that even though life holds such uncertainty, He still gives us hope for a new horizon and peace in the midst of chaos," Anna Golden shared. "This song pulls inspiration from the old hymn 'Because He Lives,' a modern take on the beautiful message, 'Life is worth the living, just because He lives.’”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Because Of You’ from Anna Golden and featuring Aodhan King today! And may it remind you of the beauty of life with Jesus by your side.

2 Sisters Sing 'Homecoming' Duet With Carl Jackson

Listen to this wonderful duet by two sisters singing the song ‘Homecoming’ by Carl Jackson.

“There'll be a homecoming some morning when Jesus calls us away, I'll see mother and daddy
Lord I am ready for Heaven's homecoming day, precious ones have gone on before
Our Lord waits for no man, salvation will gain us a ticket to see them and a place
In God's final plan, there'll be a homecoming some morning when Jesus calls us away”

Wow! These two sisters, named Sarah and Savannah, are so talented, and their voices and harmonies are incredible. They are known as The Church Sisters, and they grew up in Southwest Virginia. The two began singing publicly after winning a singing competition in 2007, and at just 12 years old, The Church Sisters released their first gospel album titled Farther Along.

“Sarah and Savannah Church sing this lovely song Carl wrote about seeing all our loved ones by and by. Just remember, friends – we will meet again and walk hand in hand on that golden shore. It will, indeed, be a homecoming,” reads the caption of this YouTube video.

‘Homecoming’ is such a special song, and it is wonderful to hear these talented young women sing it. Many people online thought the same thing.

“Wow, those voices….just beautiful. And the music is just wonderful,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Oh how this song ministers to my heart,” writes another person online. “The Apostle Paul said for him to live is Christ, but to die is gain. His feet were still on this ground but his heart was already on high with the Lord. This song makes me homesick for Heaven. Thank you, Carl, for writing it and to the Church sisters for singing it with such conviction.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘Homecoming’ from The Church Sisters today!
