Proverbs 3:5-6 is pretty much my life verse, or life passage if you will. The part that clicks for me is "lean not on your own understanding". I have a big pride issue, and I *do* often lean on my own understanding, rather than trusting in the Lord. No matter how many times I fall flat on my face by relying on that strategy, I continue to do it. It's a struggle. I acknowledge my shortcoming in that area of my life, but still I do not always acknowledge Him, as the passage calls me to do, as my ultimate Guider. The promise is awesome, that He will make my path straight if I will only trust Him. The best part is, no matter how many times I mess up and lean on my own understanding, he keeps giving me another chance. Thank You, God, for your grace.
To me, a dobro makes any song better. If I'm not mistaken, that's Al Perkins playing the dobro on the interlude. Thanks, Al!
The song also mentions Matthew 6:34 and John 16:33. The song was written by Matt Slocum and several authors of the Bible.
This Easter, celebrate the Cross in the most amazing way. Join the talented group from World Outreach Worship and their incredible performance of 'Nothing But The Blood.'
Together, the band, vocalists, choir and the Kid's Choir join with special guests, StikYard, to perform this special tune. God made the ultimate sacrifice when He sent His only Son to die for our sins. Now, we are all forgiven and will live out our days in Heaven. What an amazing truth that truly is.
Hand over your worries and burdens to the Lord and let Him into your whole heart. There are so many amazing things to share about our Father and He has blessed us all with so much. When we have a fire for the Lord, there is nothing that can hold us back. Who else wants to shout His love from the rooftops?
Become a part of the phenomenon that has captured the nation. This is the first opportunity in 50 years for any generation to witness the full life of Jesus on the big screen.
Son of God is Now Playing. Now, the larger-than-life story of The New Testament gets a larger-than life treatment in the stand-alone feature SON OF GOD. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score from Oscar®-winner Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. It marks the first motion picture about Jesus's life since Passion of the Christ, released ten years ago.
Last week God gave me a dream and I thought this would be a great video for children, but I think everyone will enjoy. So this is my first video, please let me know what you think.
A song I wrote a few months ago, right before I had a near death experience. Enjoy! Happy Easter! This song is copyrighted. Please ask for permission to use in church, etc.
