Colossians 2:1-9

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; 2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The Fruit of the Spirit, Part 2 (Longsuffering, Gentleness and Goodness)

"The Fruit of the Spirit" becomes evident in our lives as we walk with God. Yet there are fruit that we must allow to be cultivated so that we may continue to grow. As we avail ourselves to God to be changed, our fruit will develop. Pastor Jeff continues this teaching, with speaking of longsuffering, gentleness and goodness. 2-22-15 MESSAGE׃ “Your Policy Has Been Cancelled!“

Some approach the grace of God as only existing unless or until it is needed, and then suddenly it is no longer available. But you will never hear God say these words, "Your policy has been cancelled!"

Forgive And Forget (You Have Heard It Said - Part 2 of 7)

Galen Hackman | Ephrata Church of the Brethren | Netzer.org
--------------------------------------------------------
Are there people we need to forgive?
Are there people we need to ask for forgiveness?
--------------------------------------------------------
Jesus often deconstructed commonly held cultural beliefs, re-framing what people thought they knew.
Today we ask... what are our misguided cultural philosophies... what are our superficial religious catch-phrases?
God search, know, show, lead us.

Maximize The Moment (You Have Heard It Said - Part 1 of 7)

Can we trust God with time?
Can I trust God to be present in the moment?

Romans 9:12-21

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Romans 1:18-32

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

God's Teachings On Hearing God Yourself-2 (Prophesying)

(One hears God in their own language as God speaks through them and they Prophesy.) How do we walk in the Spirit? (Gal. 5:25)? We listen to the voice of God speaking in us and through us. The Spirit frees us and keeps us from all lust!
