We cover the first half of the sixth chapter of Daniel and see what leads up to Daniel being cast into the den of lions in the second half of the same chapter. And we will see that Daniel's only "crime" was being faithful to God's commandments.
We include a radio clip from AFR in 2009 which stands out as an example of the consistent and rampant cowardice and sellout on national Christian radio networks, today.
It seems like every few months there is a new fad regarding the Rapture or the “end of the world”. And at the time of this study, there is a growing bruhaha over planetary alignments coinciding with Jewish feasts on September the 23rd of the year 2017.
We are going to debunk the claims made by some of the alarmists and in doing so, we will be providing the Bible believer with the tools need to debunk this stuff EVERY time it appears. So, this isn’t just a message for 2017, but a study that will benefit the Bible believer until the Rapture or death do us part.
Sunday school lesson on Ezekiel 3:1-11, taught by Bishop Robert Garrard, Pastor of Disciples Of Christ Christian Worship Center, Church Of God, located at 552 E. Center St., Madisonville, KY.
Philippians 4:2-3 2 I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord. 3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. 2017 07 16 Randall Easter FBC Briar
Philippians 4:8-9 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. 2017-08-20 Randall Easter - FBC Briar
PHILIPPIANS 4:1 Therefore, my brothers,1 whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. 2017 07 09 Randall Easter FBC Briar
[17] Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. [18] For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. [19] Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. [20] But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. (ESV)
Philippians 4:10-14 10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. 14 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. 2017 09 10 Randall Easter FBC Briar
Philippians 3:12-16 2017-05-28 Randall Easter - FBC Briar 12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. 16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.
Despite what the world says, Love is not empty and baseless. It is based in knowledge and judgment. We will look at the phenomena of throwing money at the Red Cross as an "act of love" and how this is NOT really what love is (and the Red Cross may not be the best way to use your donations).
We are in the days when the absolute values of Traditional Christianity are being re-defined and rejected by the upcoming generations. We have failed in many ways of passing the torch of absolute Truth to our kids and grandchildren. This message by Pastor Randy Blan of Families of Faith Church in Channahon, IL correctly describes and challenges Christians to keep trying to pass on Biblical values to our families.
