Every day we wake up on this earth, we may (and usually do) face challenges of some sort. And at the end of the day, we ask the question about what tomorrow will bring. Despite God telling us "not to worry", our fallen, fleshly sin nature causes us to wonder what tomorrow will bring.
As we come to the end of a tumultuous 2020, we naturally question what the next year will bring. And we want to believer that it will be better. But what if...what if 2020 was just the precursor to the total surrender of all things good by society which will be exponentially magnified with each passing day. It's Romans 1 in real time. The world is trading truth for a lie...and God will give them what they deserve.
As Christians, while it is ok to ask questions, we must not fall into the trap of finding peace and comfort in things that the world can give us. Instead, we must draw together as brothers and sisters in Christ and find joy and reassurance in the Savior who died for us so that we may live.
A dark day may be coming...but without warning, the brilliance and majesty of the Lord God will pierce that darkness and judge those who would mock, slander and berate His children. As an earthly father's instinct is to protect his children at any cost, God has already done that through the blood of His son. Now, we wait patiently and occupy until He comes. While we don't know if next year will be better or not, it doesn't matter. If we know Christ and accept His propitiation for our sins, we have everything we will ever need.
A CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR BLEMISH Romans 10:3 "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."

THE VIRGIN BIRTH In order to produce a sinless man and yet be the son of Adam, God must provide a way whereby that man would have a human body derived from Adam but have not a drop of Adam's sinful blood. Here is the scientific biological reason for the sinlessness of the Man Christ Jesus.

We all must have a righteousness that exceeds anything we could ever produce through our own effort. That’s where Jesus enters! Failure to understand this truth is at the root of all feelings of guilt and condemnation. If we understand our right standing with God on the basis of what Jesus did for us, and not by our own actions, then the power to be condemned is gone. Those who live with emotions of unworthiness are not trusting in God’s righteousness but are looking to their own actions to obtain right standing with God.
In Micah 5, the prophet foretold that Messiah would come from the small and seemingly insignificant town of Bethlehem..... But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past ... And he will stand to lead his flock with the LORD’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world. And he will be the source of peace... (Micah 5:2–5, NLT)
Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar. The festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, called a menorah (or hanukkiah). One branch is typically placed above or below the others and its candle is used to light the other eight candles. This unique candle is called the shamash. Each night, one additional candle is lit by the shamash until all eight candles are lit together on the final night of the festival.
