Christianity.com: Why Cities Matter - Justin Buzzard

Jesus commanded us, “Love your neighbor.” But how many Christians recognize that most of our neighbors today live in cities? Urban pastor, Justin Buzzard, casts a compelling vision to participate in God’s kingdom-building work in our world’s cities. (“Why Cities Matter” by Stephen Um & Justin Buzzard, Crossway Books 2013, @JustinBuzzard www.justinbuzzard.net)

God's Purpose (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "God's Purpose" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Seeing Christ ".

Do you see Christ? When someone hears the message of the Gospel it causes conflict within. The Gospel reveals that all sinners are sick and the light of God's Word reveals all the darkness within the heart. The problem with religion during the time of Christ to the present day is that it promotes outward observance without one truly doing and acting upon God's Word. The call of the Gospel is to die as Christ died. This is why people choose not to follow Him and do not believe Him. In order for one to follow Christ their will must be what God wills, and their purpose must be in God. One must come to the realization that Christ must be exalted above everything else. All who truly believe is born of the Holy Spirit and God continues to purify them as they continue to follow Him by faith. Faith is essential to salvation. No one is saved through election or by works, but by faith. God gives seeds of faith but the seed must grow to the point of bearing fruit, and God provides all that is needed for a seed to grow and bear fruit. The question is what will you do with the seed of faith?

Gods Love Spoken Word

Hey, my name is Chris Cramer. Previously a drug addict who fell in love with oxycontin, heroin, pcp, and tried to commit suicide. But the love of Christ Jesus honestly touched my heart when i came to believe in the work of Cavalry's cross. I went from the drug addict who i was and was transferred into the Kingdom of His Son of Love. I became a Child of God, because He loved me enough to pay for my sins, and even adopt me into His family. Im not saying im perfect or even the best at loving, but God is showing me how to love, and it starts with loving HIM back. God is so good :)

I pray this video touches your heart and moves you to take a step of faith towards Jesus Christ.

No Fear of God Before His Eyes (Video Jam)

This video jam titled, "No Fear of God Before His Eyes," comes from the sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled, "No Fear of God Before His Eyes."
It is clear from the Word of God that you must come under the authority of God's Word or you cannot enter God's flock. You must be willing to give Him authority over every area of your life, trusting in Christ alone, if not you will be trusting in demons and pride. The Scriptures make it clear that the heart and the mind of man are wicked, and even the conscious has been corrupted. All humans are totally depraved. Before writing Psalm 36, referenced in this video jam, David had to first look at himself. The king himself had fallen into grievous sin, but even when he did, he repented of his sin and remained humble before God, open to the rebuke of Nathan the prophet. David saw himself as less than God. He continued to see God and his own wickedness, and this produced humility.

The gift of music

The Daily Pulse (Wednesday, July 17, 2013): Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Psalm 150:1-6 (NIV)
