Word Transformation #7: Strife --> Life

The Daily Pulse (Thursday, September 26, 2013): Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:7-10 (NIV)

Word Transformation #6: Grave --> Grace

The Daily Pulse (Wednesday, September 25, 2013): As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:1-5 (NIV)

Word Transformation #4: World --> Word

The Daily Pulse (Monday, September 23, 2013): “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18-19 (NIV)

The Promise 3:16 - Parade of Hope

John 3:16"For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 12:1--2 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind ..."

• God has desired us to be a holy, sanctified, and separate people.

• But not alone!

• The separate is from the world and not from people.

• We struggle with the overwhelming pull of the world to be like the world in our attitudes, actions and appearance.

• We renew our minds by filling them with things of the Lord, not things of the world.

• The more we parade the presence of Christ—listening, waiting, reading, praying—

• The more we want to be like him!

• We begin to desire holiness.

• It's an act of the will and an attitude of the heart that affect our outward actions.

Word Transformation #3: Her --> Hero

The Daily Pulse (Sunday, September 22, 2013): While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” Matthew 26:6-13 (NIV)

Redemption (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Redemption" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Christianity is Progress".

This powerful sermon jam speaks of the work of redemption in the Christian. The work of redemption is to restore a Christian from their former state so they may be made holy and escape the bondages of sin! All of this is done by the grace of God so the Christian can be used by God for His purposes. May the Christian Church be awakened again to a Biblical understanding of redemption and what it truly means to be saved by Jesus Christ!

Word Transformation #2: Love -- Live

Proclaim the Lord to Be Your God (Video Jam)

This video jam titled "Proclaim the Lord to Be Your God" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "How Willing Are You to Proclaim the Lord to Be Your God?".

This sermon jam asks the question, "how willing are you?" In order to follow Christ one must have a desire to do so. God does not force anyone to follow Him, an individual must make a free choice to follow Him. The way of the cross is a way of suffering and loss. But the way of the cross is the way of life and freedom. Do not be ashamed of the Gospel! The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to all who believe. God will give a burning testimony and the power of the Holy Spirit to all those who choose to follow Him. May this sermon jam remind you of all of these truths! Also be sure to share it with others.
