Motivational

This simple video is a great reminder that we have a God that knows everything about us, including that we sometimes need to work through and process things in conversation. Not only that, He is always ready and waiting to listen and advise. Sometimes it can be difficult to minister to teens, but this video might just hit the spot.

A sermon presented by guest speaker Bettye Weatherholt from Metro Christian Center in Evansville, Indiana. This sermon was recorded on September 6, 2015.

By definition, a "leader" is simply "one who goes first." Of course, he must have at least one person following him, or he is just a "go-er." A genuine Christian leader is not one who lords it over others, but who is a helper of their joy. One way he does that is by being real, that is, authentic, with those he serves, setting an example of intimacy with Jesus Christ as the source of his own strength. The Body of Christ desperately needs godly leaders, and from 2 Corinthians 1, 2 Timothy 2, and Isaiah 58, John Lynn sets forth many magnificent principles of true Christian leadership.

In all human history, one day stands above the rest, the day Jesus rose from the dead. On that day Jesus defeated death and opened the way to eternal life for all mankind.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ validates Christianity, and gives Christ, and His teachings, the highest of all authority. It inspires and builds personal confidence that we can have a personal relationship with our heavenly Father and His son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pastor David Gutierrez explains how to use our weaknesses. One plus God is a majority.

Pastor Dunbar preaches on Exodus 16: 2-15, a discussion of what it means to receive our "daily bread" and look up to the Lord without complaint.

The parable usually called "The Prodigal Son" should be called "The Forgiving Father," because its design is to show the gigantic, Fatherly heart of our heavenly Father, God. As human beings, we all screw up, sometimes royally, but when we turn back to Him, His forgiveness abounds to us.

Our connection device is turned off... Spiritual gifts are given from God. When we want to hear from God but we have our spiritual devices off we cant help ourselves, others, or do God's will.

We have turned off our connection to God. Just because there are prophe-liars out there it doesn't mean that God is not talking to his people. A prophet also can interpret what God is saying. If you don't understand what God is telling you, you have dropped your signal. You have to change your position to get that the connection back. As long as I stay connected to God I don't have to worry about what other people say.

We have missed out on so many things in life because we have turned off our spiritual connection to Christ. God wants to speak to everyone we just have to be willing to turn on the spiritual connection to God.

God is not trying to put anyone down, or put someone against each other, the body of Christians are to be on one accord.

1 Corinthians 12:28-31
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you

Pastor Dunbar preaches on the message in today's Bible reading of Mark 7: 1-13. In these passages, Jesus reminds us that the mere appearance of piety does not please God, but simply obeying His Commandments does.
