Homeowner Anselma Caughman came to faith in Jesus Christ through the witness of Samaritan's Purse volunteers. We continue serving people across southeastern Texas who are in desperate need after Hurricane Harvey's devastating strike.
The Gaineys are grateful to God for the Samaritan's Purse volunteers who ripped out molded drywall after Hurricane Irma flooded their home. Their son, who is severely allergic to mold, will now be able to live in a safe, mold-free home.
God used the Operation Christmas Child project, including The Greatest Journey discipleship course, to bring a young girl in Tanzania and her mother to faith in Christ.
When 13-year-old Hilda Nalwanga learned that she needed surgery to repair her heart defect, it seemed impossible, as the procedure was not readily available in her home country. But through Children's Heart Project-a ministry of Samaritan's Purse-God made a way for Hilda to be healed, and opened doors for her to be a blessing to other children with heart defects.
Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham was recently in Houston to see our Harvey relief response. He issued a call for more volunteers over the months to come.
The Lord has now made this Church our new HQ in Haiti. As you can see it's in poor shape. Can you imagine how bad it gets during rain season while they try to worship the Lord? We literally just got the figures in and it will only cost 11K to build a new one in the same place from the ground up. And we were led to believe it would be so much more. Praise God!
