Cause 4 Life Global Missions and Internships prepares tomorrow’s leaders to minister to individuals and families affected by disability in their churches, communities, and around the world. Interns walk in the footsteps of Jesus as they learn to minister God’s heart and purposes for the “least of these.”
This video teaching is a part of an ongoing collective of videos addressing the flawed method of interpreting the Bible employed by those who oppose the doctrine of "Eternal security" or in short "Once saved always saved". They go to many different verses, both in the Old and New Testament to prove that a saved person can lose their salvation. Sad to say, they are guilty of a faulty method of interpreting called Eisegesis. Eisegesis Is the approach to Bible interpretation where the interpreter tries to "force" the Bible to mean something that fits their existing belief or understanding of a particular issue or doctrine: People who interpret the Bible this way are usually not willing to let the Bible speak for itself and let the chips fall where they may. They start off with the up-front goal of trying to prove a point they already believe in, and everything they read and interpret is filtered through that paradigm. Stated another way, they engage in "private interpretation".
This video teaching is a part of an ongoing collective of videos conveying that the doctrine of "Eternal security" or in short "Once saved always saved" is confirm in the Scripture and thus is a biblical doctrine. This truth did not start with John Calvin, yes he corn it "Eternal Security", but the principle this teaching conveys is based in the Scripture itself. It corn-side with the Bible, which points out that salvation is a free gift apart from the deeds of law or any good works that that we can do. All the verses I give in these collective of videos regarding "Once saved always saved" cannot be proven by anyone to be taken out context.
