Jesus is the great healer, but He is not subject to our will, our desires, our "faith to be healed" or our confessions. The Biblical teaching on healing does not glorify charlatans or the believer's faith. The Biblical doctrine of divine healing glorifies God and reinforces His sovereignty over man's affairs.
And when properly understood by the submissive, Spirit-filled believe, this is a great source of encouragement.
