Debbie Griffith-speaker, radio girl and writer shares that wherever you are God can use you. Dorothy Gale from Kansas (The Wizard of Oz) realized that what she was looking for was right in her "own backyard." God has a ministry for each one of us, which means He's given us gifts to ministry to others, whom He sets before us each and everyday. When we have received God's love and grace we then can give His love and grace to others. Debbie shares an experience with Ron, a salesman in her hometown, who replaced the broken stereo in her van. Ron was someone she was able to able to ministry to....someone in her "own backyard." Ephesians 2:8-9; "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."
Debbie Griffith-speaker, radio girl and writer shares an experience she had at the Nashville Airport carrying too many bags and luggage en route to pick up a rent-a-car. God provided a way when she lost “her way” through a man named Kenny who explained to her that he was the “Angel” God had sent to protect her. God is always aware and always cares. Exodus 20:23; “See, I am sending an Angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”

Debbie Griffith-speaker, radio girl and writer asks; “If it’s 40 below zero outside and someone offered us a super warm jacket to wear, to brave the elements, isn’t it likely we’d accept the jacket and put it on?” Well God tells us we fight a spiritual battle which is not against flesh and blood. Therefore, He offers us armor to protect ourselves. Listen to Debbie has she creatively uses props to demonstrate on how we can get dressed everyday by putting on the armor of God! Ephesians 6:10-11; “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
