[12] Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. Every day and all day long, we are constantly being told who we are based on our outside appearance and/or what we are doing. It is constantly changing and comes to a point that we don't know who we are in life. So the question is who are we?

This Video by James Grocho explains that we are surrounded by numbers: how many friends we have, our age, our IQ, etc. We shouldn't let these numbers define who we are. Instead, we should find our identity in Christ. For teens, this is especially import. It's easy for them to pay attention to number of friends and likes on social media or to define themselves by their grades or athletic scores. Let's remind our youth that God does not see us as a number; He sees us as people that He loves and died for! He knows us all individually!
