This video is the thirteenth in a multi-part series entitled "Healing Relationships through Forgiveness.” It deals with the twelfth principle. Principle #13 We must not keep records of the sins against us. When we have sinned or done something against another (spouse, child, friend, etc.), we have first sinned against God and must reconcile with Him. After this, we must go to the person we have wronged and ask for forgiveness. Now we move to dealing with those who have transgressed us. In this section, Dr. Jones shares the importance of not bringing up a transgression once it has been forgiven.
This video is the twelfth in a multi-part series entitled "Healing Relationships through Forgiveness.” It deals with the twelfth principle. Principle #12: We must view the unbelievers who transgress us with the eyes and heart of God. When we have sinned or done something against another (spouse, child, friend, etc.), we have first sinned against God and must reconcile with Him. After this, we must go to the person we have wronged and ask for forgiveness. Now we move to dealing with those who have transgressed us. In this section, Dr. Jones shares what to do if we have trouble forgiving those who are unbelievers. We must not view them as wicked, but lost and forgive them.
Sometimes we feel the journey of life is too hard; it sometimes seems ALL uphill. Sometimes, we as Christians, may feel completely too weak and full of too much fear, BUT, that is EXACTLY when we need to declare: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" This teaching helps with overcoming the hard times and fears that seem too big in the moment. - I hope you find this encouraging! - Rev. Patrick Coad [email protected]
