Grieving Mother Does Not Want To Leave Dying Infant Monkey

This mother is grieving the loss of her infant monkey and the scene is absolutely heartbreaking. This is just another visual piece of proof that animals have feelings too. In the video, we see a mother langur clutching to the lifeless body of her newborn baby. Photographer Archna Singh captured the gut-wrenching moment at Ranthambhore National Park, Rajasthan, India. The area was in the middle of a heat wave, which may have been the cause of the baby monkey’s death. The baby is believed to be about 2 days old and throughout the video you can see the mother trying her best to revive the infant. For anyone who has lost a loved one, we can understand the pain and anguish that this mother must be going through right now. It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to your own child. While scenes like this happen frequently in nature, it’s rare to see it captured on camera. This shows us there is living proof that God’s creatures big, small, and even furry, can feel. God truly placed animals on this Earth for a reason and their compassion and emotions always leave me in awe. What thought and detail He put into everything from land to sea. Genesis 1:21 “So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”

82-Year-Old Granny Skates Around Rink With Ease

This 82-year-old Granny is here to prove that you should judge a book by it’s cover! In a viral video posted on Facebook, you can see this woman cruising around the skating rink with her 70-year-old friend. Together, they hold hands and skate like it’s second nature at Skateworld Of Vandalia in Ohio. A lot of people think that when you reach a certain age it means you cannot participate in physical activities like you used to. That is the farthest thing from the truth and these elderly women are proof. They are perfectly poised as they take lap after lap around the rink. It’s obvious that this is not their first time skating and they look like they haven’t skipped a beat. It’s hard to believe that these two skating queens are in their 70s and 80s. I definitely would’ve guessed much younger, if you had asked me. Who would have thought that sweet, little old Granny was going to school everyone on the rink? Age really is just a state of mind. This 82-year-old is living proof that if we keep things moving and take care of our bodies, we too can be moving easily long after we reach over the hill status. She is such an inspiration to everyone watching! I certainly hope that we continue to see this Granny and her friend skating for years to come. Who else hopes that they have this much fun and energy when they are in their 80s? I know that I sure do!

7-Year-Old Sings Incredible Rendition Of 'The National Anthem'

7-year-old Malea Emma performed an incredible rendition of ‘The National Anthem’ and now the whole world is talking. This talented kid became a viral sensation when a video of her singing before a soccer game between the LA Galaxyand the Seattle Sounders was shared online. Social media immediately started buzzing and this little girl was heard all over. Now, sweet Malea is traveling the country sharing her voice with others and it’s an absolute delight. Today, she is performing at an ice hockey game for the Los Angeles Kings. Just listen as she passionately belts out ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ for the entire arena. 'O say can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming' Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming' I can see now why everyone is saying this is one of the best renditions that they have ever heard. Malea’s performance is full of so much love, enthusiasm and pride. With every single note, I am in awe of her talent and vocal range. And it’s obvious that this 7-year-old has a passion for performing. ‘The National Anthem’ is never an easy song to perform, but Malea pulled it off with ease. With a voice like that, I definitely think we’ll be seeing more of this talented young girl in the future. I sure do wish I could’ve been there to witness this special National Anthem performance in person. Who else is with me?

Man Loses 198 Pounds In A Year After Publicly Posting His Weight

Vance Hinds started his weight loss journey with a single video. He stood in front of the camera in just his underwear, stepped on the scales and shared with the world that he weighed 475 pounds. Fast-forward to one year later and Vance would be publicly stepping on the scales again, but this time he’d weigh nearly 200 pounds less. How was he able to do it? This inspiring video shows the few key things that lead to his incredible success. Vance Hinds was listening to a podcast when he learned of another man who had been successful losing a lot of weight. That’s when Vance made the decision to put his health first and lose weight, too. So he made a video announcing his decision, and he posted it to his personal Facebook page. That was just the beginning of a new way of life for Vance! Vance was used to spending his days on the sofa in front of the TV. He had no energy and was in a lot of pain. After his weight-loss, he admits that he is now living a completely different life. "My life changed 180 degrees. It's an active lifestyle now versus a sedimentary lifestyle. Before, I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything and just watched TV. Now, we are packed with activities all the time." In addition to walking daily and changes in diet, Vance incorporated a yoga program, known as DDP Yoga. DDP Yoga was founded by former professional wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, who ‘accidentally’ came up with the yoga that mixes stretching and strength positions with some things that he learned while in rehab following a serious back injury. This program has transformed many lives and now Vance is included in that mix. What an incredible journey of determination and focus. Credit: GodUpdates

Hospital Patient with Rare Disease Blesses Cancer Patients with Original Christian Song

A hospital can seem like a sterile and sometimes gloomy place, but one patient is lifting the mood at Duke Hospital with his own music.

Music has taken the place of food for Dustin Chapman, 21, of Whiteville, North Carolina, because he hasn't been able to eat or drink normally for years.

Chapman has a two rare diseases of the esophagus called Achalasia and Cricopharyngeal Dysfunction, where the esophagus muscles basically quit functioning. To cope, Chapman is using his talents as a singer, musician, and songwriter, to encourage himself and countless others who listen. A video shared on Facebook of Chapman singing and playing the piano at Duke inspired more than 5,500 shares and 434,000 views.

Three years ago, Chapman's condition required an 11-hour surgery on his esophagus. For 18 months, he could eat anything he wanted, but now Duke doctors are trying different things to enable him to be able to swallow food and liquids. He was recently referred to a specialist in New York who performed another major surgery on his esophagus.

"In 2017, all my problems started coming back," said Chapman.

While he and his family wait for answers, Chapman found his best therapy was at one of the few pianos in the hospital.

Chapman's performance at the Duke Cancer Center earlier this year got rave reviews.

"I had cancer patients coming up to me, and they were just crying, and they were like, 'That was probably therapeutic for you, but we needed that just as much as you did,'" said Chapman. "It was very rewarding."

Chapman is a music major student at Catawba College. He says he enjoys writing and performing his own gospel and country songs.
